Nice place to have a meal if you are staying at the Fairfield South. 2 minute walk to get there. I had the roasted chicken and the food was good. Not at all spicy. The roasted potatoes were moist with a nice flavor. Rice and beans, what can you say, they taste like rice and beans. It looks like what you would expect a strip mall restaurant to look like. Order at the counter and pick up at the counter. Clear your table as well. Nothing fancy about this place but it is nice. Give it a try.

Staying in Miami!! This place is a basic fast food type restaurant. Service was basic. We ordered the chicken fried rice and empanadas. The rice was really good had alot of chicken and big pieces of egg, which I like. The empanadas were okay. The filling was very salty and I did t care for it too much. The dough part was good. I ate around the meat filling.

This place was right next door to our Hotel. I saw they had pretty good reviews on Yelp so we gave them a try. You place your order, seat yourself and wait on your number to be called. Everything is made to order. We ordered several dishes and they were delicious. The Chicken and Steak were very tender and flavorful, the White Rice was tasty and Empanada very good. Highly recommend.

Came here due to it being within walking distance from my hotel. The food here was very interesting, they had a little bit of everything, stirfry noodles, fried rice, seafood, gumbo, soups, chicken, and steak. I ordered the 1/2 grilled steak with rice and beans, an empanada, and roasted chicken (dark meat). The rice and beans were really good the steak was meh, it was very tough no season at all. The roasted chicken and beef empanada I give a 10/10. I wish I got two empanadas instead of one. The chicken was very tender and seasoned to perfection. You can actually see the chicken being roasted from the kitchen. The sauces for the beef empanada were amazing! If you don't like spicy stuff , I recommend only getting the white sauce. The young fella taking orders was very helpful and answered a lot of my questions considering it was my first time there. Can't wait to try something else on the menu next go round. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This restaurant was really close to our hotel so based on the Yelp reviews, we gave it a try. The interior is pretty basic, but plenty of seating. You order and pay at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. The service is quick. The chicken bowls were good. The 1/4 chicken was dry and needed more seasoning. The fries tasted homemade, but could have been a bit more crispy. Prices were decent.

We are here in Miami for an overnight to catch an international flight and didn't want to go far from the Marriott complex so we walked next door after reading Yelp reviews. I ordered the half chicken, saving half for a protein breakfast. It was cooked nicely and the beans and rice were delicious. My husband ordered LOMO SALTADO, as printed out on the receipt. I couldn't find it on the menu. It was sautéed beef with vegetables and rice. He loved the flavors in it. Staff is super friendly and they were quite busy. Inside are booths and cafe tables and chairs. We enjoyed it.

The decor is a mix of Mexican images and modernity dining furniture. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone. I had seafood chowder and two beef empanadas, while my spouse got the 1/2 chicken platter. Both of our servings was more than we could had ever imagined, and we wished that we would have shared an entree instead. All their menu options are very reasonable and affordable considering the location. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. It's very clear that the chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. I'm positive that we will be back in near future when we visit this area again!!!

Arrived in Miami one day early for our Cruise and just around the corner from our Hotel was "La Granja Le Jeune" - which is a Chicken, Seafood & Steak place, Latin American Style. A decent number of people here but the line didn't take long. They do have Lunch Specials but I decided on the #3 to share with my Wife. Consist of; 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice, Beans and Plantains with Soda - Ordered 2-drinks. My order came out within seconds (it seemed) - this place is fast. Grabbed some toppings from their Topping Bar and returned to the Hotel. Opened up the container and was pleasantly surprised at how much Chicken is in there and a Big Container of Beans and a Pile of Rice. The Chicken was Very Juicy, Tender and the Flavor was definitely Cuban. Loved those Beans and that Rice was also some Good Stuff - and the Plantains was a Big YES. They seem to serve those everywhere in Miami. On the way back we ate there again, but this time inside and ordered the same thing and it was just as Delicious and Really Fast Service. Their Kitchen must crank out a lot of Chicken & Steak because while we were there the Counter was a constant conveyer belt - with lots of Happy Customers. Noticed a few people ordering Soup and it came in a Bowl large enough to feed a family of four. This place is Awesome.

My seafood craving started kicking in, so grab a snack from this place. When it's busy it's a good thing, Plates very from meats to seafood with soups so there a little bit of everything. This place was walking distance from my hotel for the night and it came highly recommended from our airport shuttle driver! After some google searches, we found that it's Peruvian food which is a combination African, Asian, and European. The flavors are amazing and definitely a melting pot of cultures. Very fast service, very fresh food and something we will remember and recommend in the future. Also...huge portions, come hungry! read more

My cousin and it were in Miami for the night and staying very close by so we decided to give this place a shot based off the hotel receptionist recommendation. When we first walked in we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by our meals. I ordered the 1/2 chicken meal and I got some garlic sauce on the side, my chicken was so tender I couldn't believe it.. the plantains weren't as sweet as I would have liked but they were still good. Rice and beans were on point... my cousin ordered steak fajitas and she devoured them.. I took her guacamole I will say that for a fast food place that was some really good guacamole, it was freshly made I can tell.. We were pleasantly surprised by the food here. Based on the exterior, I was pleasantly surprised. We got the 1/2 chicken with rice, beans, plantains and a drink. We also got an empanada and an arepa. The food was piping hot. This was plenty of food for two adults and two kids (5 and 8). The empanada may have been my favorite. It has ground beef inside that resembles the meat in a Jack in the Box taco...don't judge...I love those tacos! My husband doesn't like the tacos, but he loves the empanada. The arepa was a little on the sweet side and a little greasy but it grew on me quickly. read more

This is by far one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Miami! I loved their menu. I'm a carnivore, so my husband and I ordered the whole chicken. It came with a huge bowl of rice and another bowl of black beans. It would have seriously served a family of 4. Since I only eat meat, my husband barely put a dent in the rice and beans. We took a small container back to our hotel to enjoy later. We are staying at the Marriott near the airport. I'm thrilled to find out that this restaurant is also in Orlando, since we are there a few times We are definitely going!! read more

Great ceviche had the mixed plate. Good amount of fish, shrimp, calamari, bay scallops and octopus. Tangy lime and red onions but the crunch from the skillet corn( like corn nuts) was the big surprise. There hot sauces were delicious just the right ant of heat read more

In town for business, I was told by the hotel staff, his is the place to eat, and they weren't wrong!! For the time being, take out only... There are a few tables outside for dining, maybe 3 or 4 .. Anyway, I ordered the seafood soup, shrimp platter and empenada . There was 5 or 6 orders ahead of mine.. food was ready in about 8mins, took it back to hotel... Everything was incredible! Portion was huge, properly prepared , the ladies working the counter were very friendly.. the seafood soup is out of this world! I will be back in the area in 2 weeks and I will be eating here again! read more

Soup was great, but when I ask if they put rice on it, they told me a little. I was going to exchange it and ask for one without rice, but I change my mind and kept eating just the soup and seafood. My mistake. It was not so little rice after all, half of the plate was rice. As I was to leave another customer who speaks Spanish ask them to put very little rice. I know because I speak Spanish. read more

I was a bit hesitant to go inside at first. The outside does not sell the place it's location is a bit strange and it looks a bit run down. BUT at lunch time the parking outside was packed and overflowing into the gas station next door. It's a cafeteria style restaurant. Food is good with a wide selection to choose from. And yes rice and beans. Clean, very good food, good prices and a happy atmosphere . A great lunch spot. Yes the speak both English and Spanish . read more

I had the seafood rice (i could mash it and make a paste) ... yuk ...but polite service The young man was patient and courteous. The order was fulfilled very quickly by the cook but the rice was mushy like it sat all day cooking and like it had been cooking all day plus what seemed to be scalloped was tough and very rubbery like it had been through a cookie cutter of a rubbery fish of some sort definitely not scallops but the 5 little shrimps where ok. That's all I could eat of this dish and this is what I'm throwing away. I had also the potatoes and tre leches which was very good. read more

When you walk in the restaurant the first and only thing you will smell the whole time you are there will be fish! I understand that sea food is one of the main things they sell but the smell wasn't pleasant. The food was ok but nothing really stood out or tasted good enough to visit again. Close to the hotel and delicious! Was an easy walk from our hotel. Walk up and order casual restaurant. The food is a little pricey bust scrumptious! Well seasoned and cooked to order fresh. I went for a late lunch. It was difficult to figure out who would take my order because no one seemed to be paying attention to me as I was wondering how ordering went and when I just started talking to the person at the cash register he took my order but he was rather inattentive, looking away, not engaging in dialogue, etc. They use a number system, and a person or party 12 numbers ahead of me got their food well before I did, and I was eating alone. It seemed like most tables turned over while I was awaiting food. The food was ok, but wasn't a great value. The bathroom was in need of care, to put it positively. read more

The food is good. Must try the gumbo-!!!!! O. M. G. They also have beef empanadas that's good. Yesterday they were great... today ehhhh so-so. Most of the staff are sweet. Some still need a little training on customer service but the food sells itself. Must try!!!! read more

This restaurant was a little run down but the food was plentiful and pretty good quality. The side sauces need to be improved bit but for a fast food place I thought it was not bad. I would recommend it if you are tired of burger or Mexican fast food and are looking for a change. read more

Marriott guests owe it to themselves to cross the parking lot and eat at this gem. The rotisserie chicken is fantastic, but the menu has so much more great food to try. The cheap beer is icing on the cake. Two thumbs up! read more

I ordered my food with uber eat half of the order was delivered, I call, the woman that answered told me to wait 5 minutes I wait and call back several times with no answer, this is the worse service a restaurant can have, having waiting a customer on the phone and don't pick up I will cancel my whole food and getting my money back, don't waste your time trying to order online food with this people. (My order was 2 whole chicken and and seafood gumbo) tostones and yuca was hard and cold and seafood gumbo missing. read more

Solid 3. Good spot for fast Peruvian food, might be the only fast spot I know of... if you're in a hurry, need a quick spot come here. Best dish is the chicken, 1/4 is a bit small, usually get the half. Great prices for lunch specials. Have had the burger-ok, the lomo saltado- ok too. read more

My husband and I always go to La Granja in Orlando FL And Hialeah and our experience was great. We came to La Granja in Leyunne rd and we had paid $14.99 for a plate full of octopus which I did not eat my husband told the lady if he paid $14.00 for an small plate of octopus and they offer to improve the the plate which it was return to me with more octopus there was 3 piece of fish which we counted and two small and refríed shrim everything on the plate was octopus. I will post the plate on google reviews and I will get in contact with the register owner of the corporation. I will start by saying if you really want authentic Peruvian chicken please go else where. This place is really nice and clean inside and the service was fast. I ordered the chicken and was expecting something totally different from what I am accustomed to. Thier chicken was lacking all the great flavors that original Peruvian cusine is gloabaly known for. Don't get me wrong it does not taste bad it just didn't meet all my expectations. If you are looking for decent food at great price give them a try. Also I took the liberty of trying all thier sauces, and they were tasteful, but a bit too salty for my taste. read more

Here you will find several chocolate related desserts so we ordered the strawberries, chocolate bubble tea, and Ferrero Rocher shake. The Dubai strawberry was very good with large juicy fruits drenched in smooth melted chocolate. The cup also included a pistachio paste and kadayif giving it a good crispy texture. My only complaint was that the pistachio flavors were not as strong. The chocolate bubble tea was solid you can still taste milk tea taste. But the star of the meal was their Ferro Rocher shake smooth and nutty with a little Nutella drizzle. If you want some unique desserts pick up an order from Sweet and Sticky.

We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
