I attended a luncheon party held in a separate room, which was perfect, off the restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and welcoming. Upon entering, I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess escorting us to the party room. The rolls/bread basket accompanied a fresh salad as an appetizer. Followed by a delicious eggplant parmigiana. Dessert consisted of a slice of birthday cake with a scoop of pistachio ice cream and coffee. The food was yummy and service was nice. The company of family & friends in such a nice venue was just lovely. If in the area, I'd go back again.

Skip dessert and got a cappuccino. Love this little detail printed on top. A great way to finish an excellent experience.

Great experience! Definitely going to come back a second time. Party of eight we had an early dinner. Service was attentive and thorough. The waiter recommended two appetizers which were easiest serve shared between a group our size. The calamari and the fried zucchini. 7.5out of 10 on both. Appreciated the recommendation. I had an old-fashioned with Rye whiskey. Could use a little work. 6.5 out of 10. The real crown in achievement was the main course. I asked the Waiter for his opinion between two dishes and he insisted on one of them. I then asked to follow up question regarding another dish that I had been looking at and he still insisted on his original recommendation. He mentioned that it might take a little bit longer because it required a reduction of the sauce. I decided to go with his recommendation of the chicken scarpariello. Before I tell you how delicious it is, to improvements that could be made. The chicken was a little tough. I would like to see what it could be like with chicken thigh instead of chicken breast. If that's an option, I would've chosen the chicken thigh. And the potatoes, I wish they were cut a little thicker. But I'm gonna give this a solid 9 out of 10. Great recommendation! I would recommend the dish to anyone. Delicious! Thank you to the waiter. He and the rest of the staff were very attentive and patient with us. We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant and are very grateful to have had such an opportunity to die in there. Can't wait to go back. Beautiful restaurant, phenomenal service, delicious food.

They had a line for valet so took a while to get in. Place was packed on a Saturday night. To start off we received complimentary bread. We ordered a bunch of apps but only took a few pics. Apps portion sizes were small so keep that in mind when sharing. We got the burrata which was really good. Shrimp cocktail was okay but that's usually how it is. Pieces of shrimp were big. The stuffed mushrooms were really good and flavorful. No pics because we ate them too fast. The pizza was good. Kids loved it. I got the bunless burger. It has no taste. No flavor. Not even salt. I took a bite of my husbands roasted chicken which was so so good. Very moist and flavorful. I would definitely get that next time. My friend had the chicken and sausage. Also very good and it was a big portion. For dessert I got the coffee, and it was so cute with the "me and you" message one it. It was a little pricey, $275 for the both of us but I feel like we got our moneys worth. Would go back.

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

Subject: Disappointing Experience at Vespa - Saturday, August 8th…read moreDear Vespa Management Team, I am writing to share my deep disappointment regarding my dinner at Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar on Saturday, August 8th. I frequently travel 20 miles to dine in Farmingdale specifically for a premium culinary experience, but this visit ensures that Vespa is no longer a destination restaurant for me. For our table, I ordered two orders of your signature "Clams Vespa" appetizer. According to your menu, this dish features baked little neck or top neck clams. Instead, we were served tiny, cockle-sized clams that were severely overcooked. They were so badly burnt that it was entirely impossible to extract any clam meat from the shells because it was stuck completely. When I raised this issue with our waitress, she brought back a single replacement plate. While this second plate of tiny clams was prepared correctly and tasted delicious because they weren't burnt, it only resolved half of the issue. When I brought up the bill discrepancy to my server, she stated she would hand it to the manager. However, after waiting 15 minutes with no resolution, I was forced to get up, approach the manager myself, and state that I wanted to leave. Only then did the manager expedite the bill correction and take one order of clams off my tab. Between dealing with unannounced substitutions, poor kitchen quality control, and a frustratingly slow service recovery process, the evening was highly disappointing. Combined with an aggressive parking citation issued on Main Street during our meal, the entire 40-mile round trip felt like a complete waste of time and money. I expected much higher quality control and efficiency from a restaurant of your reputation. I hope you address these kitchen execution and front-of-house communication issues so that other long-distance diners are not subjected to the same experience.

We ordered meatballs and fried calamari as appetizers. There were four meatballs in a sweet marinara sauce - very tasty. The calamari were very good as well. As an entree, I ordered the tagliatelle Bolognese. The tagliatelle were made on site and the sauce was fresh. For desert my wife and I shared a lava cake with a scoop of chocolate gelato. The desert was excellent, but the rainbow cheesecake my son ordered was phenomenal. There is no parking lot dedicated to the restaurant, however, there is a parking garage nearby and the first three hours are free. We went mid-week, I cannot guarantee that the free, three hour parking extends to the weekend. Price to serving is good, I was hungry and had a difficult time finishing the entire entree. The only downside was the cappuccino was awful. It could be that my cappuccino was decaffeinated because the one ordered by my daughter and wife were just fine. Our waiter Kumar was excellent! On point with a great sense of humor. I thanked him for being so patient with us while we made up our minds on what to order and he said that's what he is. A WAIT er! Hahaha! Only Harold & I ordered apps. I got the steak tartare and Harold ordered the Kobe beef meatball which he shared with Pat. I tasted the meatball, it was so good. Huge but tender. But my steak tartare was the favorite dish of the night. I like the fact that the beef was finely cubed and the seasoning was different from others that I have had but quite delicious. The shredded truffle was a nice touch. The Stracciatella cheese was more abundant than expected but not overpowering. We all ordered different entrées, chicken Parm, a Seabass that was on special, the salmon dish and I got the veal chop All of us loved our dishes. I didn't taste the other entrées so I can't comment on them, but they all looked amazing but my Veal Chop was definitely worth coming back for! I love a good pounded veal chop, and the marsala sauce was delicious without being cloyingly sweet, which sometimes a marsala sauce can be. Also my Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious! Fruity & powerful! Sorry I haven't been here sooner. Thanks Harold! 2-27-2026
