The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

Instead, we were served tiny, cockle-sized clams that were severely overcooked. They were so badly burnt that it was entirely impossible to extract any clam meat from the shells because it was stuck completely. When I raised this issue with our waitress, she brought back a single replacement plate. While this second plate of tiny clams was prepared correctly and tasted delicious because they weren't burnt, it only resolved half of the issue. When I brought up the bill discrepancy to my server, she stated she would hand it to the manager. However, after waiting 15 minutes with no resolution, I was forced to get up, approach the manager myself, and state that I wanted to leave. Only then did the manager expedite the bill correction and take one order of clams off my tab. Between dealing with unannounced substitutions, poor kitchen quality control, and a frustratingly slow service recovery process, the evening was highly disappointing. Combined with an aggressive parking citation issued on Main Street during our meal, the entire 40-mile round trip felt like a complete waste of time and money. I expected much higher quality control and efficiency from a restaurant of your reputation. I hope you address these kitchen execution and front-of-house communication issues so that other long-distance diners are not subjected to the same experience.

The desert was excellent, but the rainbow cheesecake my son ordered was phenomenal. There is no parking lot dedicated to the restaurant, however, there is a parking garage nearby and the first three hours are free. We went mid-week, I cannot guarantee that the free, three hour parking extends to the weekend. Price to serving is good, I was hungry and had a difficult time finishing the entire entree. The only downside was the cappuccino was awful. It could be that my cappuccino was decaffeinated because the one ordered by my daughter and wife were just fine. First time coming to this place. Decided to try this place out since the boyfriend and I were nearby. There was so much to choose from, ordered a cheese pie to try out their pizza. A friend recommended to try their pizza and it was a must. We each had a slice of pizza to start with. Pizza had a nice amount of cheese, dough was crispy and wasn't soggy by the tomato sauce. I usually like my pizza with some crispy texture. I was craving for pasta, I had the linguine with clams in white wine sauce and the boyfriend ordered the same dish except in red. Clams are a decent size, not huge but still good. They were real fresh. The linguine was cooked just right, not under or over cooked. The sauce was good, white wine mixed with the natural flavors of the clams. Can't go wrong. The boyfriend's linguine with clams in red wine sauce was just as good. I think I prefer their pizza over pasta. I've had better pasta from other Italian restaurants. Their's are good, but nothing too special. Will definitely come back again for pizza! read more

Okay I order a $40.00 pizza from la piazza. The box it came in looked liked they pulled it out of a wet garbage can. My pizza wa cold and the curled. I contact them and the girl who answered the phone asked me to speak to the manager, which I thought they would resolve the issue but the manager who picked up the phone sounded like I was bothering him and really didn't care about my issue. The manager just made excuses about why the box looked like it did. He said condensation was the issue but the pizza was cold. Mind you I live in Long Island a mile down the road! It's business like these that ruin the experience and trust of us the consumers. The owners should be more mindful of the People they put in control of the business. This place needs a serious reality check. Had three entrees and an appetizer and two beers for lunch and the tab with tip was about $106.00. I don't mind paying top price for outstanding food and good portions, but this place got the formula all wrong. Food was good, not outstanding. Calimari and bread stand out as very good. The portions were RIDICULOUSLY AND INSULTINGLY small. That's the problem. For the prices they charge I should have left stuffed and come home with extras. I left feeling hungry and with a far lighter wallet. Not a recipe for bringing me back for more. This place is essentially an upscale pizza place that is trying to charge you like a five star restaurant. There are much more reasonable and better options in the area. Avoid this place. read more

Best margarita pizza on Long Island. I came for a business meeting with my client and we order the pizza with a side of meatballs probably the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommended going to la piazza. Also the drinks are pretty good. Had take out and I feel it was over priced and the portions were so small that I was still hungry. The baked zita wasnt even filled to the top, eggplant rolitini was also a small portion. He offered replacements, but we had plenty of food and no time to wait for another round of appetizers, so we declined. After another 20 minutes, he brought us new plates of both items, this time hot. We looked at each other and just went with the flow. With that delay, our time was becoming a little more limited. As previous reviews mention, the inside is decorated to look like you're on a patio in Tuscany. It's deceptively large inside, and we sat all the way at the back around the corner. The waitstaff were very efficient and pleasant, giving my boyfriend and I time to look over the menu but coming soon after we'd set them down on the table. After some complimentary bread and very tasty garlic knots, we started with one of their appetizer specials to share, and were very pleased with it. It had fresh grilled Italian sausage served over garlicky cannellini beans and broccolini. Everything was balanced and well prepared. For our dinner we both got pasta; I got the butternut squash agnolotti (de zucca) with butter and sage, and he got the ricotta cavatelli bolognese. The bolognese was delicious, but I felt like the squash agnolotti needed something else to make it a proper dinner. The filling is just squash puree, no cheese, and the melted butter sauce is very very decadent. I would get something a bit more filling next time, but other than that I enjoyed my meal and our experience!

The chicken piece is around $10 and huge! My lemon fuscilli pasta was out of this world. One of my favorite pastas. My friend got rigatoni with red sauce and added Calabrian chillis. They have a few add ins or add ons but not a ton and totally not needed! We did skip dessert to get ice cream and walk around the village but they definitely do offer it!

All of the apps we ordered were delish. The crab cake and blue joint oysters were the stars for me. My wagyu filet was a perfect hot pink medium! My family also enjoyed all of the entrees and sides.
