I gave this place 4 stars since I couldn't give it 3.5. In salsa for two with balsamic dressing was delicious - lots of goodies - pecans, dried cranberries, blue cheese crumbles. Complimentary bread was plain flat bread. We orders garlic bread which was warm, buttery and garlicky; order it. Hubby had tortellini with the signature red sauce. Pasta was good, sauce bland. I had gnocchi with creamy white cheese sauce and prosciutto. It was very flavorful, delightful and filling. Husband agreed. We'll be back if we're in the area. Get here early. We got here at 6 on Saturday and we were served timely. Within the hour though, the wait was over an hour due to people calling in orders. read more

Marital problems. My thick red sauce is sweet from fennel seed and cutting the tomatoes acid with baking soda and my wife hates it. Still, my red sauce is better than her wimpy, thin red sauce. We both love their red sauce & neither the cook or waitstaff would give hints on how they do it. Something about a $1k non-disclosure agreement. The gnocchi was soft, tender, moist, and the pesto sauce wonderful. Meatballs were tender, full of flavor, the red sauce on them is troubling (see above discussion of marital issues). Anti-pasta skewers are unique in presentation and quite good. Price was reasonable, environment small town friendly, quantity just right for 5"3' wife and 6"2' me. The only negative is the, very attentive waitstaff had not YET seen any of the Godfather movies. read more

This Italian restaurant is located in Millits. Found it by accident actually. I haven't had authentic Italian food in ages. This restaurant with such a nice atmosphere and decor. I ordered the meatballs and penne pasta with garlic and herb sauce. Both were quite tasty. The breadsticks were the money maker. Nice soft bread with four dipping sauces( olive oil, marinara sauce,pesto and I forget the other sauce) I really liked the pesto sauce. The price for he food wasn't expensive either. read more

We had a wonderful dinner! The cute place has a small town feel and they take good care of you. The Chef makes all the pastas from scratch and they were tasty. Service was great, and even tho it was quite an order and there was only one worker taking care of both our orders and the cuisine, it was fast and the worker's attitude was exceptional (there was only one worker due to our current circumstances, COViD 19 related). More of an Italian restaurant that serves pizza than a pizza joint that serves pasta - if that makes sense. We had a simple pepperoni with green onion that we enjoyed. Very crisp crust with moist, moderate to heavy toppings, which can lead to a soggy pizza, but they've got this down. Nice crisp crust despite the moisture from plenty of real mozzarella. Friendly staff that actively support the local high school with fundraising efforts posted in the restaurant. Would definitely go back, but know that if you go for pizza, they don't have all of the traditional toppings. It's good pizza, but it's more of the specialty variety, so if you want Hawaiian or pepperoni and olive, this is not the place for it. read more

Again, just the right depth of flavor and lightness. You can finish every bite ( happily!!) and walk away content in a peaceful, happy place. We were heartily welcomed as soon as we stepped in. Not a fancy spot but the staff was really friendly and efficient. Plenty of locals and that's a good sign. We ordered the spaghetti with arrabiatti sauce (medium spicy means an appropriate kick:), pesto tortelloni (is that a typo or is it Sicilian?), and a Caesar for the three of us. From our table we could see the kitchen staff working like demons. Turns out that every dish including the sauce is made to order. And every dish came out together and perfect. Throw in six taps of NorCal brews and a nice selection of local wines and the five stars is a no-brainer. And did I say the staff was friendly? read more

I really wanted to love this place...I even waited for the newness to be worked out...but 15$ for a small cheese pizza and. 2.50 for a child's small milk were a bit over the top in price. The dinner salad was ok but needed more dressing(and I do not like my salad soaked in dressing). The pesto sausage pizza was good but not great. I ordered ice tea and asked if it was flavored and was told it was not...but it was. So disappointed in our lunch and no wonder we were the only ones in there the whole time.
