the pizza was tasty, if overly greasy. same can be said about their focaccia. Great texture and flavor but impossible to hold without a sheen of grease. Otherwise, for having so many books on pizza, they seem to have a definite lack of customer service enthusiasm and, more importantly, timeliness. I think I've found another spot to add to my list of favorite places to eat in LA. I got myself a hefty square slice of pepperoni pizza and a "father in law" sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious!!! Filling, too! Honestly could have ordered a whole pizza between the three of us that went. The size of the one slice was pretty substantial. I'll start the review by saying that I went out to Philly and New York earlier this year and was spoiled by the quality of their pizza. I thought no pizza would compare in terms of dough, flavor, and value, until I came to La Sorted's. My only gripe is that it's so far from me, but even then, it's worth the drive out to LA to pick up a few slices and eat them in the back of my truck. I'll be coming back any time I'm in the area. read more

I enjoyed my pizza pie. I go the Good boy and it didn't disappoint. The crust is crunchy and has great flavor. Pepperoni was delicious and had plenty. Next time I will ask for extra. It's a small place and there is not indoor seating. They do have a few seats and tables outside. I will need to comeback soon. read more

I preferred this to the hoagie. ($11) This was a Postmates pick-up order with an ETA of 4:03pm. I showed up a few minutes early (around 3:55pm) and food wasn't ready until around 4:10/4:15pm. The small parking lot had plenty of open spaces at this time of day. Went here for the first time for a brand gifting event and stayed for the delicious pizza. They were offering 3 of their pizzas by the slice; cheese, pepperoni, and the cowabunga. Pizza was complimentary as were the beer and wine although they were out of wine about 2 hours into the event. Pizza was on a thin crust, cheese was good quality and flavorful as was the other ingredients just really solid pizza I'm itching to go back to try more. I noted they had Calabrian chili flakes on all the tables too *chefs kiss*. The restaurant only offered seating outside due to the event but the space itself is giving intimate sports bar. I ordered from LaSorted's through TooGoodToGo and was super excited to try it -- especially since I've heard great things and love the vibe of the place. First time and definitely won't be the last . Everything tasted amazing... the Mortadella sandwich is a definite MUST. The burrata was creamy , the bread was soft but with the perfect crunch. Couldn't decide on 1 pizza so we got 3 . The mamba was chefs kiss it's one thing when you have original flavors that are amazing but if you can do something like a cheese pizza amazing you've got what it takes. We also got the Mookie and the Ina . Both of which look and smell amazing but we were so full when haven't been able to try the rest yet. Tommy and all his staff were great. From what I was aware, La Sorted wasn't only well known for their sandwich but also pizza and other nibbles. The place was much smaller than I expected with most people just ordered for to-go. There were couple tables in front of the store in case you would want to enjoy the sandwich fresh after it was made. My interest was their Mortadella sandwich, whose name was self-explanatory in terms of the protein it served. Meat to bread ratio was amazing as you could clearly see from the picture. I also loved how they paired it with pistachio cream and burrata, which were exactly my favorite ingredients for Italian sandwich. I might fancy more pistachio cream in my sandwich and though I would say it did taste great, I still had Mamie and All Antico on my top list. The meats/flavors on the F-I-L sando were awesome but the focaccia bread was pretty oily so the sandwich was a bit greasy. The mortadella sando was definitely the best overall option. I'd skip the Sicilian pizza as it was too bread-y and not one of my favorite slices in town but would try a regular slice next time! It's definitely a winner in my eyes. The pizza we ordered hit the spot, but it didn't taste as fresh. Our pizzas were cold and we only live 10 minutes away. We chose a specific time frame per the website, as I believe(d) the pizzas are made to order? We ordered the Mamba pepperoni slice, upside down Mamba as well as an upside down pepperoni Sicilian square. The focaccia bread for the square was delicious and fluffy for the lack of a better word. The Mamba pepperoni was good, but it wasn't out of this world. The upside down Mamba looked more like a cheese pizza as I couldn't taste the oregano or see it at all. It might not have been a good first impression, but I do want to see what their sandwiches are truly like. Parking is a little troublesome in the shopping center, so that was a bust, even though it happened to be busier than usual at one of the other on-site locales. read more

The staff were super friendly and chill and helped me sort out my mistaken situation of going to the Chinatown location by mistake. I had the thick pepperoni slice. I have had their thin slices and they're good. I wish I could say the same about the thick Detroit style slice. I heated it up in a cast iron pan to keep the bottom crispy. I had to struggle with a fork and knife to saw through it. Biting into it was equally work. There were places where the dough was like a dough knot and inedible. It was way too salty !
