Haven't been to Cici's in forever and I saw they had rebranded and decided to come in for a visit. Still a menu filled with everything you could think of to order. We started with some hot chocolates and shared the eggs Benedict, itsy bitsy pancakes and a crepe. Everything was delicious but we definitely order a bit too much food even for sharing. Staff were friendly as always.
Best & memorable Tiramisu Green Tea Pancakes. We split the dishes as the portions were generous. Smoke salmon Benedict was made perfectly. Definitely coming back here whenever I'm in CA
My usual go to is loco moco or corned beef hash. BUT I've never seen beef panang curry with lava omelet. It did NOT disappoint. Beef was super tender. Panang sauce had that creamy peanut flavor with a slight kick of heat with flavor! Lava omelet was beautifully cooked and fun to eat. It is like a Japanese omurice which I've never had before. My only critique is that I would want Japanese sticky rice. Jasmine rice is too loose and Japanese rice would hold up to all the delicious sauce and lava omelet. So much flavor and nothing was needed like salt, pepper, hot sauce. My server Mint (I loved that she spelled her name for me) was super sweet and patient. It's a THIRTY page menu!!! She said beef panang was her favorite and I don't think she was just saying that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner is Thai so I love the little hints of Thai decorations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean with modern lights and decorations. Everyone is very helpful in keeping everything clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].
Ordered the breakfast sandwich and the bread to filling ratio was just not it. I wish there was more green in it, lettuce or avocado. The potatoes and the sandwich were missing some hot sauce or something. Overall willing to try again but not thrilled to.
Used to know this place as Cici's Cafe -- I think it's Thai-run, and it's been a solid breakfast spot with some fun Thai fusion twists on the menu, like the Chicken Curry & Lava Omelet (chicken curry over rice topped with a creamy lava omelet), which I haven't tried yet but sounds really interesting. The Dutch baby pancake here is amazing -- thin, golden edges dusted with powdered sugar, piled high with fresh strawberries and served with warm syrup on the side. Great texture, not too eggy, generous portion for sharing. Line was long, but worth the wait. A must-visit if you're in the area.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by for brunch on Wednesday. It wasn't too crowded around 11 am when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a small parking lot for the whole plaza, but I can see it getting full during busy times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant wasn't too crowded when I arrived, maybe 1/3 of the tables were occupied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was very long and overwhelming.... let's just say I've never seen a menu with a table of contents before! lol I know they're known for their pancakes, so I definitely wanted to try some, but I also prefer savory dishes at brunch. I ended up ordering a custom frittata ($22.95) with spinach, portabello mushroom, and turkey breast for my savory, and the matcha souffle pancake ($24.95) for my sweet. The frittata came out first. The shape wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it looked more like an egg pancake (it was large and thin) rather than a frittata, but it was good. I got it with a side of fruit and plain bagel, so it was a relatively light breakfast. The matcha souffle pancakes came out after ~25 minutes or so, which isn't bad at all. The menu said to expect a 45 minute wait on weekdays, but no one else was ordering the souffle pancake so it came out much quicker than expected. I have mixed feelings about the souffle pancakes. On one hand, they're super soft and jiggly and almost just melts in your mouth. I really liked them from a texture point of view. I also thought they had the right amount of sweetness. However, even though it comes covered in a green matcha sauce and I'm sure they added some matcha into the pancake itself, I couldn't taste any matcha. If I had known that earlier, I would've ordered one of the other souffle pancakes where the flavor comes through more. Also, they are pretty pricey for what they are... yes the pancakes are massive, but it's the first time I paid more for pancakes than for my entree at brunch. My friend ordered the Mama Bea Omelet ($22.95) and really enjoyed it. It was his first time getting an omelet with salsa on top, and I have a feeling it won't be the last! The scalloped potatoes on the side were delicious as well. He also got the house coffee (called Cup of Joe on the menu) for $3.75 and enjoyed the unlimited refills. Would recommend all brunch and pancake lovers to come and try brunch here!
Wait Time: (None) For the bar. It clears up pretty fast, there's spots outside since it's chilly but wait time for a table inside is about 40 minutes on a Saturday night. Service: Everyone is very helpful. Service was prompt and they have a full staff of your sitting at the bar, you'll get Top Notch Service. Food: Great will visit again.

Here's the revised version with the first two paragraphs unchanged and the update reflected at the end: We had a great experience at Cici's Cafe. I ordered the CC Café omelette and it was very good and super filling. The chicken apple sausage was a standout--really flavorful and delicious. We also shared the matcha soufflé pancakes, and wow. They were rich, fluffy, and absolutely delicious without being overly sweet. We did have to wait for a table, so I'd definitely expect a wait during busier times, especially on the weekend. Overall, great food and a spot I'd happily come back to.
Pancakes, this place is all about their pancakes! And long waits... We got their Panang Curry and Lava Omelet along with their Straberry Souffle Pancake and Banoffee Souffle cup. Gave us a good savory and sweet brunch. We really liked it all. The curry dish is a must. Both souffles were good, so you should leave without trying at least one souffle. We had approx 30min of wait and another 45min of wait for their souffles. There will be a lot of waiting. Was it worth it? Even with all the waiting? Yes. If you have a super chill weekend and wouldn't mind a late breakfast, its worth it. I would recommend this place.
Randomly found this place and it was delicious! Big menu and big portions! LOTS of French toast, pancakes, and waffle flavours. They even have soufflé pancakes but we didn't order any. Line gets long so expect to wait a bit but theirs turnover seems to be quick. On our visit, we tried the Aloha Pancakes, Loco Moco Benny, The Chopper (with pancakes), and a Mexican dish that we can't remember the name... oops! But everything tasted great! Not a lot of parking spaces but there are street parking available too. Friendly staff and they seem to be a well-oiled machine so you'll get a typical diner experience here.
Literally another brunch run with my bestie today. I got the combo steak, eggs and crepes and she got the parang curry plate. Everything was so good. Not a long wait time today and their food always comes out hot and fresh. We ordered an iced cappuccino but it wasn't sweetened. We asked a staff to give us sweetener which they did. Another successful lady C's brunch and will always be our go to in the valley. I crave for their food all the time!!
We've been coming to Cici's Café for years, mainly for breakfast -- and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing, and we've tried a variety of dishes over time. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything comes out fresh and flavorful. Just a heads-up: weekends get really busy, so expect a long wait. Your best bet is to come super early or closer to brunch to beat the rush. But honestly, it's worth the wait every single time. One of our favorite go-to breakfast spots!

Service could be better, not that attentive as they have lots of people all the time. I would say if your looking for a family brunch spot this is the place. Westlake as alcohol! Pancakes always expeditions and a large selection to choose from. we ordered Two mocha. coffee one iced, one hot the hot one was better. Will note i ordered a second one the first one was better, guess depends who makes it. regardless coffee i was shocked it was good from here. CiCi's has become my favorite brunch spot of all time. As someone who grew up in the Bay Area and only moved to the area 2 years ago, that says a lot! They never fail to put out a beautifully crafted dish that is both visually appealing and absolutely delicious! The servers are always so genuinely sweet and patient. After my boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time, I knew I had to bring my friends here too. We have been back three times since then and have been impressed every time. Despite how crowded it gets, the quality of the food and consistency of the flavors remain steady. Listed below are things I have tried! DRINKS: -- Iced Chai Latte ($8.95): was so flavorful; perfectly sweetened! 9.5/10 -- Matcha-gato ($8.95): very unique; it was really good until the end where it got too sweet. 9/10 FOOD: -- Strawberry Nutella Soufflé Cup ($21.95): was very excited to try this, but it was a bit overwhelming after I got through half of it. Super filling. 7/10 -- Green Tea Tiramisu Pancakes ($19.95): sooo good, my friend said that they were the best pancakes she's ever had! Very flavorful and perfect amount of sweetness. 9/10 -- Strawberry Dulce de Leche Crepe ($20.95): strawberries were a little sour but everything else balanced it out! 8/10 -- Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes ($20.95): very fluffy, but a little too sweet for my preference. 8/10 -- Eggs Benedict ($20.95): Very standard and not too overwhelming! We visited on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and waited for about 40 mins for a table for 2. I would say it's worth the wait! The menu options were extensive! So many tempting options! We ended up trying the loco moco benedict and the matcha soufflé. Both were amazing! Highly recommended! Earl gray latte was a little too sweet for me. There are still so many items on the menu that I wanted to try, so I will definitely go back again! Plus plenty of parking in the front! read more

The food here was really good! The pancakes were delicious and the eggs Benedict were also very good. Only feedback on the eggs would be to toast the bread a little more so it's not as soggy. Absolutely my favorite brunch place! It's so far from me. We drive an hour or more to get here usually when I have a day off but it's so worth it! Cute diner vibes. The most unique item is the souffle cup! They have tons of flavors but I always get the matcha souffle cup and this is the only place I can find in SoCal that makes something like it! It comes out so fresh, warm, flaky, and is just a creamy eggy souffle goodness. It takes about 30ish minutes to make which is ok because we will eat our savory egg dishes first then eat the souffle cup as a nice breakfast dessert. For entrees I love the mama beas omelette. Very flavorful and healthy with the egg whites. The home fried potatoes are also perfectly crisp. It all hits the spot so good. Will be back again and again! Only complaint is they should do a Yelp waitlist so you can wait remotely. read more

A breakfast extravaganza!! A deliberate trip to CiCi's Cafe this Easter Sunday with my teen nieces. They were delirious with excitement at the thought of all the beautiful pancake options. At the end of ordering, I went with the Bangkok Knight Omelette, one niece went with the strawberry dulce de leche pancakes, my other niece went with the strawberry lovers pancakes. Side of ham, scrambled eggs, and bacon for the table. The orange juice was really fresh and served in an appropriate glass. The girls really enjoyed their pancakes. I loved my Bangkok Knight omelette! It was a party of unique flavors for my mouth. Very unique, and I really enjoyed it. We were all so focused on our own meals. It was a pleasant experience. We ate inside. The setting is like a cafe, with small to medium sized tables. We ate around 11a, and the place was very busy. We had a 30 minute wait, and they texted when our table was ready. For us, the wait went by quickly, and it was absolutely worth it, for the meal. There is parking in the lot, and you can pick up take-out at the back of the building. The cafe was quite full, and yet, it was not annoyingly loud. The staff is very pleasant, and efficient. The timing of ordering, serving, clean-up, and check delivery was perfection. I came to this place after seeing the big rave on social media of how insanely delicious the fluffy soufflé pancakes were. Unfortunately I didn't get to try those because I was pressed on time. As a foodie, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to try their food. I'm glad I did. I ended up ordering their strawberries and cheesecake pancakes. Dauuummmm!!!! They were delicious with a capital "D". They had a buttery egg flavor and were thick but soft. The strawberries were fresh and the whipped topping was the cheesecake. It had a crumble topping that took it up a notch. It was too sweet for my liking but I ate it anyway. The pancakes were a good size. I would say that 2 pancakes can feed 3 people. I got the combo with the Turkey bacon and eggs. The coffee was good. Just the right amount of strong that I needed. Believe the rave, the hype. Definitely coming back for those fluffy pancakes. Heavenly clouds of breakfast, jiggly mountains of rich perfection, towers of pillowy pancakes. Have I died and moved on to the brunch afterlife? I'm not a pancake person, but today I left behind my earthly existence to have pancakes and souffles at Cici's cafe. Our friends have been telling us we need to try this place, but we were unprepared. Skywalker pancakes are smooth, red, velvety pillows with the best flavor and texture I have ever had in a pancake. Daddy Omlete was seriously good. Cooked to perfection; the potatoes were bomb, too! So much flavor and so satisfying. The insane menu swindled me into a naughty breakfast decision: the Souffle. A bold-text admonition on the menu states that only 1 order is permitted per table, and it takes 45 minutes -1 hour to prepare. Naturally, I had to order it! There are several flavors to choose from, and we went for the blueberry. It was SO rich, yet light, jiggly, pillowy, beautiful with crunchy crumbles, delicious blueberries, and the smooooooothest eggy texture. What a special treat. On top of that, the vibe was very chill even though the cafe was packed. Coffee was tasty and free-flowing. I am impressed with this place. I had a party of 6 and honestly took about 30 mins to get a table. I recommend coming early but it was not a problem since it's busy. The latte was so yummy and sweet. It had ice cream! The food got me into a food coma. The strawberry pancake was so delicious that's definitely my favorite pancake so far. I also got the Bangkok knight and it was sooo yummy. I finished my whole plate. The service was super fast and everyone was super friendly. The inside is your classic breakfast restaurant. I felt cozy and comfortable. read more
i saw this place on tik tok and wanted to try the matcha pancakes. i didn't end up trying it but the other food was super delicious. i loved the texture of the pancakes it was cooked perfectly. the portions are pretty big. i'm loved the flavors of the benedict. the soufflé pancakes take 45 mins to make so if u order be ready to wait. i didn't like the tea it was super bitter but everything else was amazing. read more

My second time here earlier today. We arrived at 1:30pm and they were not busy at all. I ordered the spicy pulled pork omelette and the chocolate crumble soufflé pancakes. The omelette was good (not great) but had plenty of meat. The soufflé pancakes were very good but I probably wouldn't pay $23.00 again for 2 pancakes. If you haven't been here, I would highly recommend trying it but it's pricey and super busy on the weekends. read more

CiCi's. Ugh. Why do you have to be so far from me?!! Idc I'll still drive there anyways. The matcha pancakes here were DELICIOUS. I've had soufflé pancakes in Japan and Taiwan - the pancakes here come close as the next best thing. PROS: Food is BOMB Portions were great Service was good CONS: They claimed a 45 min wait for the pancakes - I'd say it was closer to 30 Wish there was another location closer to east LA Pro tip: come on a random weekday if you can!!! She is always kind and full of joy. Great place for breakfast or lunch. Small seating area inside. Pricey, but great quality of food. Great service and extensive menu. I had the pumpkin waffles with cheesecake whipped cream- not too sweet and it was very tasty! My friend had her usual, green tea tiramisu pancakes- they seem to be a popular choice. Their menu is so large it takes a minute to decide what to order- if you're indecisive like me I'd check it out online so as to not become overwhelmed with so many available choices haha read more

This place was highly recommended by my husband and I could see why. The waiting was worth it cause the matcha soufflé pancakes and the other plates were simply delicious and well made. I'm glad I love thousands of miles from this restaurant because if I was nearby, all of my money would go to them. I'm a huge fan of breakfast and these guys knock it out of the park with their extensive and creative selection. If you're in the area, be sure to give CiCi's a try. read more

Solid place for brunch. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The prices are up there but the quality of food is also up there and large enough to share with others. The Siam benedict was so unique and good! Love the spices on the beef. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes are so sweet but so delicious. The matcha soufflé pancakes seemed rushed, they weren't as fluffy or as flavorful as I'd hoped. The matcha flavors were not very present either. My favorite breakfast coffee shop! You can't go wrong everything is top notch. Come for the pancakes because they have over 25 different kinds. Airbus has homemade hash! Come hungry leave stuffed. Plenty of options. The service is really good and the unlimited coffee is tasty. You're in for about $30-$40 a person here but well worth it. Ambience is great coffee shop. read more

A few outdoor seating but not ideal since people waiting to get in stand next to you and watch you eat. No dogs inside allowed I believe.

There's tables outside for pets. It's shaded in the tent so it should be good 👍🏼

Are you open for dine in?
Hi! Yes we are open for dine indoors! However, please note that our tables is very limited and only comes at a first come, first serve basis. In the meantime, we also have a lot of our outdoor tables outside in the front.
Do they take reservations?
When I went it was self seating, placed our order at the counter then set our number on the table in order for them to bring our food. They were friendly, quick, and efficient.
How long is the wait usually? let's say If I arrive around 9 am.
I went on a Sunday morning just a week ago around this time and there was no wait. It seems like the earlier you get there the better chance of not having a wait. You can also call ahead to ask them as well.

Hi, we do not have any indoor seating at this time. We are currently open for outdoor dining, takeout and curbside service.
