I had the pho-rench dip sandwich yesterday and I still can't stop thinking about it. GET THIS SANDWICH!!! You won't regret it I promise :o) The bread was soft and pillowy - they use the same bread for all their sandwiches. In the sandwich: -shaved beef -bean sprouts -greens including cilantro, basil -some sort of spicy mayo sauce The pho broth it came with as a dipping sauce was rich and heavenly. Lardo is a counter-serve sandwich shop in the food court on the second level of The Cosmopolitan. There are a few seats at the counter, plus more seats that seem to be common to the food court, but there weren't enough seats. The credit card reader asks for a 15-25% tip even though it's counter-serve. There's probably a way to select a different amount, but it takes more steps. Just what you want during a pandemic: more buttons to press. The double burger itself was nice, but it seems overpriced. read more

This was for sure one of the best burgers I've ever had in Vegas. I was really impressed! So awesome that you can watch them make it right while you wait. Also this place is open pretty late on the weekends, such a plus when leaving a night club. The fries could be better, they just were kind of flavorless. My partner even got the loaded ones, and we didn't favor those either. We both loved our burger/sandwich though! The service was kind of weird. Situated inside a small but diverse food court area in the cosmo. This place stood out one because of the line and two it just sounded good. Holy crap - YES. Highly highly recommend the Korean Pork Shoulder sandwich! The meat was so fantastic - moist, soft, and flavorful. Having really enjoyed my Korean pork shoulder sandwich and fries when I visited Lardo in Portland, I was really looking forward to visiting the Vegas branch at the Cosmopolitan. I like to visit Vegas 3-4x a year, and the idea of a food hall with more casual dining options sounded fantastic. I usually stay over at the Venetian or Encore, but it's all the more reason I thought to trek over to the Cosmo which is such a beautiful hotel. My friends and I shared the pho'rench dip sandwich, Korean pork shoulder sandwich, and dirty fries. All the items we ordered looked great as shown in the picture I have posted, but for some reason everything tasted super salty taking away from the overall flavor of the dishes. I love all types of fries, but for some reason the mash of flavors and textures in the dirty fries just didn't work for me. Since the sandwiches and fries were so salty, I went up to the register to ask for a cup of water but didn't get one. Good and interesting combinations. Kinda pricey, but if youre sharing and the portions are a good size then its a good deal. I was looking up Lardo about two days ago and the yelp pictures sold me. Randomly checked out Opium and stopped by afterwards and found out they are open til 4am on a Friday!!! Love Vegas! The porchetta which is a new meat for me was amazingly delicious. I decided to double up since I wont be coming back to this side of town in awhile to go big and ordered the porchetta fries. Cant believe they charge $15 for some fries with pork bits and they expect a tip. Everything was fantastic, tasty and delicious. Just amazing. When a guest asks if a specific allergen is present in any menu items, it is highly unacceptable for staff to say "I don't think so" or "you should be good." There is no margin for error here and there must be a standardized food allergy safety handling procedure in place. Oh Lardo, you have my heart. Well..The Pho Dip Sandwich does to be exact. I remember the first time I tried it was New Years Eve about 2 years ago. It has the the perfect amount of heat and just bursts with flavor. Pair this sandwich with their fries and you are golden! I must admit, ine of the first things I do after checking in to The Cosmopolitan, is head straight to Lardo. These sandwiches are THAT good. My only complaint would be that they don't offer my favorite sandwich all year only during the winter time. I really hope they would keep it permanently. read more

This place was such a let down and is a hard pass for me. My friends and I were staying at Cosmo and we heard about this cool food hall on the second floor. The sandwiches looked so promising and the list of ingredients made it sound like it would've been a solid sandwich that we'll be craving when we return back to California. Each of my friends, all 3 of them, picked up the Korean Pork Shoulder sandwich and I chose the Porchetta. We then all return to our rooms with a total of 4 sandwiches from Lardo along with many other things from various places from the food hall to share with our large party upstairs. Porchetta (2/5): Extremely extremely greasy. I was holding my sandwich up with a paper towel and the towel was completely soaked in grease. It was on the salty side, but it wasn't inedible. Korean Pork Shoulder (1/5): Now, this was a complete waste. It was salty to the point where everyone in our group would try a bite, proceed with the most awful face, and make a comment about how it's a salt bomb. The sandwiches here are expensive, especially when we ended up basically throwing out 2 full sandwiches. If we wanted to add fries and a drink, it would've been a well over $20 meal. For being in such an upscale place, you would think that they would sample their product just to make sure it's edible before selling it. Please walk across the street and visit Earl of Sandwich if you would like a quality hot sandwich that is half the price of this. read more

My server was Vanessa and after I placed my order I went back to check on the fries and she started shacking her head so far side to side rudely, like she was about to break her neck just to tell me I did not order them.
