My girlfriend and I had dinner there Saturday evening. Waited 30 minutes before a waiter came to the table. Ordered hot tea for drinks which took nearly 20 mins to arrive. Ordered 2 appetizers and they again took approximately 20 min. At this point we were both frustrated. We both ordered the cioppino which came out in approx 30 min. And it was cold. I had taken two bites of bread and informed the waiter, once I finally got his attention, that meals were cold and he stated that he would get new ones prepared for us immediately. Not even 5 minutes later we received our dishes and noticed that they had to be the same dishes since I recognized my have eaten bread on the plate. Therefore rather than new meals as the waiter had promised us they must have only microwaved the dishes. The Cioppino consisted of 2 mussels, 1 scallop, 2-3 micro dices of potato and 1 unpeeled shrimp and no fish and the broth was almost like a can of tomato soup! Each dish cost $50! We had arrived at approximately 5:30pm and got out at almost 8:15pm. We will not go back! read more

Great customer service and decent food, but I expected more from a 4-course breakfast. The bread was overly sweet, like store-bought, and the rice and beans were dry and bland. The rest of the meal lacked flavor, though the scenery was amazing with a great view of the beach. I'd return for dessert, but not breakfast. Breathtaking views! Came up here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The parking can be challenging, it is a very busy area but they do have valet. We came at 1 PM and it was already full. We ended up finding street parking, but it took about 15 minutes. Well worth it! We sat right in front of the Pacific Ocean and got their brunch special which came with different pastries, fresh cut up fruit and berries and your choice of an appetizer. I got the smoked salmon tostadas which came with two tostadas. My friend got the posole soup which she said was delicious! And my other friend got a yogurt granola mix which she also enjoyed. For our main entrees, we ordered the steak and lobster enchiladas. crab omelette and French toast. For $25 extra you get bottomless bloody Mary's and mimosas. The customer service was perfection! Dined nearly a month ago and a simple mistake has turned this into a nightmare due to lack of accountability from management. There was a mistake on our tab, didn't notice until after we paid. We explained the mistake to our server and he brought it up to his manager. He said the first tab would be void and we would pay the new tab. (w/o the items we did not order but the table next to us did). That sounds fair so we proceeded. Its been nearly a month and that first payment was never voided by management. We have reached out numerous times in order to fix this but instead have been ignored. We have tried calls/emails but there has been no attempt to resolve this. Yes, yes and yes! Las Brisas, I love you! The view was incredible and the perfect end of our walk along Laguna. This is usually very crowded with the weekend brunch crowd, but we were still able to get in and they bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Las Brisas is great, the food, view, ambiance...but the real MVP was Brian and his team! Our party made a last minute reservation for 28 (including 9 children!) Most wait staff would run away or be annoyed, especially at a nice restaurant. But Brian went above and beyond to accommodate us, make us feel welcome, catered to our every request so swiftly and with a smile always on his face. He saw one of the kids was getting sleepy so he put two chairs together and even brought a pillow for her! He made our experience so amazing and we can't wait to go back! As a local, Las Brisas continues to be a Laguna staple! One of the best views in town and the food and service are amazing. I love that it's a fine Mexican dining cuisine. I've never had anything but impeccable service at this restaurant which I feel has become a lost art. The ambiance and scenery is absolutely perfect, 5-star! Sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Laguna beach the views are just breathtaking. The service is something that can be improved as our server took a very long time getting to us and hardly checked on us, 4-star. We came for brunch on Sunday and ordered bottomless mimosas but had to wait quite a long time before they ever made there way to us. The food was like 4-5 star with Pan Dulce served before our meals. We came for Sunday Bruch, where they serve a 4 course prix fixe meal consisting of fruit and bread and your pick of a starter, entree, and dessert. We ordered the pozole verde (highly recommended) and the smoke salmon tostadas for our starters. For the entree we got the steak and lobster enchiladas and omelet Al pastor - both were just acceptable. For our desert we ordered the sorbet which was also just alright. The food is nothing to write home (alright, but you're definitely paying for view of the beach atop the cliff). One thing that cannot be overstated is that the Staff and Owner are very friendly and will go out of their way to make your visit special! read more

Came here often for brunch years ago and a lot has changed since then. Interior is exactly the same and the service is great as always. What has changed is that they got rid of their omelette bar by the entrance which is a bit unfortunate because you used to be able to wait in line for chefs to personally make you a fresh omelette on the spot with whatever toppings you would like. They also had sort of a buffet style where they served fresh crispy waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Now they have a fixed brunch menu which is a four course meal for $47 per person excluding drinks. The menu is fairly extensive and offers quite a variety of options. They do have bottomless mimosas as well. The seasonal fruit was very fresh and sweet and the lemon poppy seed cake/bread was warm and moist. The food here was delicious: ordered the salmon tostadas, yogurt and granola for the appetizers and for the entree, french toast which came with two large slices of bread topped with a tangerine butter and loads of berries. My favorite had to be the asparagus omelette which came with a side of crispy potatoes and the omelette itself had a nice savoriness thanks to the goat cheese and a kick due to the peppers. Definitely get one of each for desserts, the mango and pineapple sorbet was delicious and the caramel flan was very light and creamy. Highly recommend Las Brisas! read more
