We tried this place because of the amazing reviews. They had excellent service. We ordered bahn mi, vermicelli noodles, shrimp rolls, and a beef plate all to go. We tried the shrimp roll first. We took a bite and the shrimp was spoiled and smelled rotten. My boyfriend took a big bite and he literally threw up right after and was sick for days. I called the restaurant right away and I said I wanted to return everything because of that. We didn't try anything else we bought because we couldn't trust to bite anything else. Restaurant was kind to return everything and apologized. They offered next meal on them but once you experience something like that. You won't ever want to go back. I gave two stars because they did have excellent service, otherwise it would have been a one star. read more

Food was a bit overpriced. The pork spring roll was a bit unflavored. The peanut sauce was great and saved it. The corn was overpriced for what it was. It was just canned corn with seasoning and crispy onions. The bowl was a bit small for 17 something dollars. The best part was the chilli oil they make in house. Went there due to good reviews. Banh mi beef sandwich, though pretty substantial had beef that was very tough to chew, I had to spit out most of it. The beef pho lacked the beef broth flavor that we were expecting. The wait staff said there would be tendons in the soup- there was none. What we ordered did not justify the high price. Wow what a wonderful experience this afternoon for lunch. My girlfriend, who is Vietnamese, and I have been looking for a good Vietnamese spot for the past 2 years after moving from the bay area. San Francisco and the surrounding areas are unmatched but we just found one that hit all the bases. Good street corn, pho, banh mi. Everything was fantastic. We ordered the shaken beef with egg and bread, meatball, and beef pho. Everything was pretty tasty but the portions were tiny and price is huge. Even my 4yr old was still hungry and he ate his whole dish. I can't see myself coming back for the price and portion but it was pretty good if you got extra money to buy more items to get full. The cook on them was unique and the butter just makes it hit different. Only suggestion would be a sprinkle of salt would have gave it a 5. The Banh mi, 0 complaints. The bread was soft, the meat cooked well, and the veggies very fresh. The pho, the broth was on point. Loved that the bone was still in the broth to give it that great flavor. We had the beef special pho and the broth was so yummy. We also had the spring rolls, those were very tasty and their peanut sauce had a slight spice too it that I loved. We also got the honey wings. All of it was yummy. But the service. These are the nicest ladies ever. They give you that "favorite aunt" feeling, and they were just so kind.
