I have referred SO many people because I always getting complimented on my nails. Carol is my go to - she is a nail art whiz. I bring her a picture and she makes it happen! The place is looks nice, has newer looking equipment and chairs, and very organized and extensive polish collections. Friendly techs do a decent job and finished results look good. Salon was very busy each time I went. Had appointments, showed up on time and still had to wait. Took stars off because I observed the pedicure techs did not use alcohol or any sanitizers on any equipment or skin. They just dropped the tool back in the little basket, sometimes wiping it on the service towel first. They reused files and electric drill bits between customers without even a spritz of alcohol. I've been going to this place for a long time. i've been able to take some of the employees attitude and rude comments in stride. One lady there told me she would never do my nails again. It was too much work. However, the way which they do their gel manicures are awful. They ruined my nails and then when I went back for correction they charge me an additional $50 when the nails were in horrible condition. They were lifting like a bubble on top of my nail and they didn't cut the cuticles. They had broken less than a week so in total I spent $150 for a builder gel manicure. read more

Come here every other Saturday and always been treated like a queen. They always do exactly what I ask in terms of length and design. The foot massage is beyond. Laura is the best at those. They have massage chairs for pedicures and do amazing gel manicures too. It's never too busy or crowded too. They have a million colors. Carol is a master with gel. It's also really nice to never be told no. Bringing in Pinterest designs and having them done is truly a blessing. I have been going to this establishment for about 6 years now - it has come to be a second home for me. Carole, Lily, Laura and Helen have become family and always welcome me with warm smiles and big hugs. These ladies are also incredible at what they do - manicures, pedicures, gel polish, dip, massages, waxing, facials and permanent eyelash curling is just the tip of the iceberg here. Not loving the experience. I called to see if I could do a walk-in, if there was the availability for gel mani on NYE, and the manager said yes when she should have said no. I got there, another lady started taking off my gel, when another set of customers came in (possibly by appointment, regulars based on friendliness). She put the foil back on my two fingers and said it had not set in the foil long enough and that she'd work on the other girl's feet first and come back to me. Sat for 15-20 mins with that foil in my hands, burning my skin. She kept filing my nails so often I was confused as to whether she was shaping, or adjust length, or trying to look busy. My job was rushed as I was the last customer of the holiday. I had to pay for acrylic on two broken nails that she stripped so much off of that it is still broken, and did not let anything (gel, acrylic) dry completely before making me cure the other hand she painted quickly. The paint job is streaky with bubbles, missing paint on some ends, extra divets on others, and other flaws like dots of red leftover paint on my white gradient. Everyone who pays knows this is too expensive for a poor job. I counted 2 base, 2 pink base, 5 layers of the gradient, and 2 top coat. I now have to go somewhere else to get my two broken nails redone. read more

I'm almost reluctant to share because this place is such a secret gem in LA! They are amazing at dip, gel, tips, full sets and GelX. This review is for the massage only. I had been wanting a foot massage for a few days, and wasn't sure if this place offered it, but my sister wanted to get her nails done. I decided to come along and see what they had to offer. We walked in without an appointment, early in the afternoon on Sunday. The place was not completely full, but pretty busy. I saw foot massage on the menu and decided on 20 minutes for $15. When the woman greeted us and asked what we wanted, she asked me if I want to do 40 mins for $25. I figured we'd be there for at least 40 minutes anyway, so, sure! Within just a few minutes, a gentleman named Steven told me to follow him through a door into a separate massage area. He asked if I wanted to do 10 minutes shoulder/neck massage and 30 minute foot massage instead, all for $30. That is actually what I had been originally hoping for, so I happily agreed. He sat me in one of those special face-hole chairs for the shoulder massage. Somehow he knew just the right spots and the perfect pressure for me. I didn't have to ask him to change a thing! When that part was done, he directed me to another chair that had the mechanical back massager in it, which was nice. He put my feet in a big bucket of hot water and spent a few minutes massaging my arms and hands while my feet soaked. He brought me some hot tea as well. Then he got started on my feet and spent a good amount of time on each one. It was very relaxing. It included some calf massage as well. When he was all finished, he wiped the lotion off with a hot towel, which felt great. The atmosphere was not exactly quiet. You can hear the traffic on the street and all the people getting their nails done the next room over. But Steven put on some relaxing Chinese music before we got started so it was fine. If you're looking for a very quiet place to zone out while you get massaged, this isn't it, but the noise didn't detract from my experience at all. For such an affordable price, it was good enough for me! I would definitely make this a regular stop if I lived here, but I'm just visiting. I'm glad I decided to walk in! read more

The lady who did my nails, was really nice. However, the service felt rushed. I had come here before. It was my nail place and felt that they always took their time with manicures. But I stopped once they started to rush and nails were not looking nice. Now I had acrylics and needed to take them off and new manicure. I called just to make sure they were not busy. Not sure who I spoke to but the lady asked if I was able to go now, I said yes and would be there in 20 mins. When I got there, one lady just gave me a look like, what do you want. No one even greeted me. I told her that I had called for the manicure, she said "you said 5 minutes, pick a color. Like rude, I had said 20 minutes and got there in 15 minutes actually. I was going to correct her, but they had another customer and I'm not rude like the lady. But I did not like that. I have never been treated like that at a nail salon. I would not be going back. I really felt uncomfortable at the beginning but the lady who did my nails was nice, so it made up for it. Now I understand if they were super busy and squeezed me in, but they only had 1 client in there. I'm just shocked at that behavior. Horrible!!! read more

So I've visited my fair share of nail salons - like most women - but I have to say, Laura's nails has been phenomenal. Lily, Carol, Lynn and Steven are fabulous. Even though you're not walking into a spa-like place, Steven, gives the best deep tissue massages and everyone is extremely friendly. I always get french manicures and pedicures and they just started using Harmony's Gelish. I don't have much time to go in, and with my job, I'm constantly typing so my nail polish chips easily. BUT with the new gel, I can go three weeks before I go back in (and I go back in not b/c my nails are chipped but b/c my nails are growing out. The manicure with these gels are only $20, french is $25 - AND IT INCLUDES A FULL MANICURE, and the pedi is only $25. If you don't get the gel - the prices for mani's and pedi's are so affordable. I really can't say enough about this place. It's not like the others where you are herded from one chair to another and they churn mani's and pedi's out like cattle... they treat you with TLC and you walk out with beautiful nails. Another thing of note, they don't try to sell you other things there. Although they will ask if you want an extra massage - which is only 5 bucks for 10 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!! read more

The first time I went here I came in for a regular mani and pedi with designs and it turned out great! Ironically the next time I came in I paid a little more for their gel manicure and it was terrible. The gel edges overflowed onto my cuticles which continued to get snagged on things. After 4 days it already peeled off. The place was not even busy so I can't even justify the awful job by saying they were in a rush.
