    Delicious French Toast

The food was absolutely amazing! We arrived for brunch around 12:00 p.m. and ordered pancakes and french toast. This place is definitely worth a visit!

For a quick breakfast, layton's hit the spot. Once seated, I got my order in pretty quick and my orange juice came out right away. I was torn on what to order. I enjoyed the seafood omelette and was surprised I finished it.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.

OC Street Food has their menu proudly displayed outside and I was so happy to see all vegan items clearly labeled. I decided to stop in as my first meal in Ocean City. I ordered the falafel pita with fries as well as grape leaves. The falafel pita was a WINNER. The falafel is so soft inside with a perfectly fried exterior. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely go out of my way to order more of this falafel. Overall the pita sandwich was delicious and well sauced. The fries were standard fries that my toddler enjoyed. The grape leaves were good but a little pricey. I know grape leaves are a labor of love and they were delicious. I probably would try a different side in the future to get a little more bang for my buck. The person taking my order was so kind. In addition to the amazing falafel I enjoyed the hospitality and was surprised to get such a warm welcome from a business in a mall. If you have the desire for Mediterranean food on the go, this place will not disappoint (I ordered them through DoorDash because it was raining like crazy). The prices are like everywhere else in this beach town...slightly more than I would expect to spend on a meal served in styrofoam containers, but for the price you get your money's worth. I ordered the beef and chicken kabob combo. The meat was nicely cooked, delicious sliced, and arrived still warm enough not to have to reheat in the microwave. It was served over deliciously flavored rice, a small bit of salad in the side, and a few small pieces of soft pita bread. My wife ordered the salmon kabob combo. It was comprised of two decent sized pieces of nicely cooked fish coated in Mediterranean spices. It was also served over rice with a small side salad and a few pieces of pita bread. We also ordered the crumb cake and the Greek jam tart. The crumb cake was a good sized piece for the price, and delicious. The jam tart was quite possibly my favorite part of the entire meal. It reminded me of what it would be if you combined a pie and a cake with strawberry jam inside of it. Absolutely worth trying and the price. I definitely suggest this place to anyone hankering for some Mediterranean flavors but don't feel like eating out to do so.

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay, perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. We shared the Beet salad which was nicely brought to us on two plates and was quite fillings. My husband had the Petit Filet mignon then a creme brulee for dessert which was small, thin, light, and wonderfully creamy. It came topped with strawberries. The indoor dining area is elegant, comfortable and romantic. You can watch the sunset but at the table by the windows, you may be a bit blinded by the sun until it sets and it got rather warm in the sun. It was worth it - watching the birds fly into the marsh and hop around. Previously, we have also sat outside on the small balcony at the high two person tables and high chairs. There is a better view of the bay from inside the restaurant since the restaurant and apartment building does not block the view on the sides.
