I'm going to start off by saying I'm not a brunch person. I have a friend that asks me to brunch like every week, and I always decline. However, on this particular day, I had an old friend come by and we needed to catch up. So, brunch it was. I opened up my Yelp app, and Lazy Dough popped up. I already knew what I wanted to order before we arrived, and nothing was a disappointment. We found parking easily enough and headed on inside to order at the counter. They brought out the food, and we immediately went to work. The matcha ube latte is amazing. The ube foam on the top is so delicious. I could probably just drink that all by itself. The drink is sweet, but not too sweet, and it's completely satisfying. We got the prosciutto honey pizza next, and it was also great. There were thick slices of prosciutto on each piece, along with a giant ball of cheese in the middle to divvy up. The steak and eggs scramble was so flavorful with the mushroom gravy and crispy potatoes. Just get this. The French toast was probably the only item that I would give 4 stars to, and that's because I thought that the croissant got too hard in the panini press. I would have liked it softer/chewier. Went on a Monday afternoon with friends for some brunch. Took a while to get helped with ordering, the process was a little interesting as you'd order at a kiosk then get the food sent to your table. However, the wait for the food wasn't long after finding a table, we got our drinks (3 different matcha drinks) within about 5 minutes, followed be our appetizers and main dishes not long after. I ordered the breakfast burrito along with the Dubai chocolate matcha. I'd honestly go back just for matchas, while I enjoyed the Dubai chocolate matcha I got, I think the strawberry matcha that one of my friends ordered was the best. The burrito was decent, though nothing really stuck out as unique, however the green sauce that it came with was out of this world, and we ended up adding it on top of everything, asking for more, and even buying two 12 oz take home sauces! One of the chefs came out to deliver the sauces to us, and even spent time talking to us about her time as a chef and dishes she'd created. As for the appetizers, we got the Dubai chocolate croissant and the garlic bread. While the croissant was good, it was a little on the sweet side, and it's kind of what you'd expect. However, the garlic bread was great! The inside of the garlic bread tasted like cream cheese or something, whatever it was threw me off in the best way possible, super tasty! Outside of this, the restaurant was calm and clean, there was self serve lemon water, and you could grab your own to-go boxes too. It's a nice spot to relax and talk with friends, come with family, or spend a cute date at. The screen menu was different from their paper menu that was right next to it and was also complicated - and I say that as a millennial with computer experience and used to screen orders. I kept looking down between the menu and screen (for instance, they listed a turkey ciabatta under Specials but I didn't see it on the paper menu). The woman at the counter didn't offer any help, say good morning, or ANYTHING and finally after trying to figure out what and how to order on a bright screen at 820am without any coffee, and listening to 'bless the rain down in Africa', I just walked out. Got the pina colada matcha it had fresh pieces of pineapple in it and roasted coconut flakes on top with the foam 10/10. Cutest mom and pop shop I've seen in a while !! Walk in and you can feast your eyes on their in house made croissants -- ranging from strawberry, Dubai pistachio, almond and a couple others. My mom stumbled on this place on Yelp and I was impressed. My mom ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and I ordered the bulgogi breakfast burrito. We also shared a freshly baked almond croissant and boyyyyy that was so annoyingly good. Both of our burritos came out fresh and we couldn't help but nod our head up and down enjoying how delicious they were. From the fresh salsa to the aji sauce -- it all went well together. We were lucky enough to rent an Airbnb just a short walk from this place, so we came here for breakfast every morning during our stay. Every single meal was just as good as the day before, and the hospitality was outstanding. I believe the owner even took the time to make new drinks for my two kids after we accidentally ordered their chocolate milks wrong. If I have to use 2 raw sugars it's way too acidic and not to my liking. I think they are known better for their fancy looking drinks. My experience and enjoyment of getting breakfast or brunch includes the drink. I pay a lot of money for good food and drink; with prices increasing I am more picky. This place is BUSY on weekends. Breakfast burritos weren't overpowering with the chorizo. It was settled tasting delicious with some green sauce. Almost like pesto, but light green creamy texture.
