Haven't been here in a while, but I recently stopped by and forgot how great of a value Icey Poki is. For around $20, you get a large poke bowl, a side, and a drink, which is hard to beat these days. They've got some really good sides too. I usually go with the IP Fries or the Spam Musubi, plus an Arizona drink. This plaza has plenty of parking and the store has a good number of seating. We've always liked their ice cream and poke, but on this day, we tried their IP fries. They team was pretty quick at making our food and we were so shock when we received it. It was a hefty portion and the toppings were delicious. I got the special fries for the side, it comes with masago, crab scoop, sauces like unagi and mayo and top it off with some nori. SOOO GOOD for my bowl's protein, i got ahi tuna, salmon and octopus. Protein and veggies are very fresh and neatly cut. I do think the fish could use a bit more sauce, but it's still a very good bowl! I also got kiwi strawberry Arizona as my drink, that was very good with the rest of everything. Service: the employees are very friendly and sweet. I enjoyed our interaction. Ambiance: this is a very spacious and fun place to go and chill with your friends or work. The tables are clean and neatly arranged. The best thing to order here is the combo deal. The price is good for the amount of things you get and it tastes good for the price. I'm giving this to place 2 stars because I tried the sushi burrito for the first time and the only thing good about it was the side of sauce. The burrito was just ok but a large portion of seaweed was very chewy and wouldn't break off when you bit it, so I had to just eat the inside of the burrito with a fork. The burrito wasn't delicious. Usually when you eat expensive to go type of food you think "wow this is good!" while eating it, but the whole time I was eating it was like just eating to finish it. The won ton chips it came with were stale. With tax this was almost 17$. The meal wasn't acceptable for 17$. If it was a cheap sushirrito then fine but it wasn't. They also don't give you free water here but you have to buy for 1$. If everything here is over 15$ with tax then they should definitely give customers who buy their food a cup of ice water if they want one. read more

My most recent time, I tried the $20.99 combo deal and got a bowl, IP fries, and an Arizona green tea. Pretty good deal but I think the bowl itself is already quite filling so I'd probably stick with getting just a bowl for future visits. IP fries were decent. Very saucy. Seemingly, most orders are through delivery apps for a seamless grab-and-go. What makes up for the ambience is the other side with creative chalk engravings of the ice cream roll flavors. You can tell the fish is relatively fresh upon the taste. However, if you prefer your poke cubical and chewy, I'd suggest avoiding the Spicy Tuna. The texture is of mashed up fish goo. Once in a while I will try out a new poke spot to see if it tops this one, but Icey Poki remains my favorite for the past 3 years. The amount of toppings they offer and the portions they give are superior to any other place i've tried which makes me feel good about spending $20 on a regular bowl. I've never had an issue with the taste of the fish here, unlike some other popular places. I am typically acknowledged when I walk in which is always appreciated. The regular poke bowls are HUGE, I could honestly split with someone every time, even when I think I'm hungry. The ahi tuna was delicious, and I love their toppings. This time my bowl didn't come with as much seaweed salad as before, which was a little disappointing. Icey Poki has always been my go-to spot whenever I'm craving poke. They also have rolled ice cream here! They recently added in new claw machines on the side of the store that you can play as you wait for your order. Only the right side of the store is used and there's plenty of seating. When ordering poke, they make you mark down what you want in your bowl. I find this to be easier and more convenient because not only does the cashier know exactly what you want, they don't have to keep re-asking your order when it's reassured on paper. Their regular poke bowl is already HUGE! I have to split it between lunch and dinner for me to finish or share with friends when I'm out. As for their ice cream, their toppings are free and you can add as much as you want! Tonight, I ordered the oreo cheesecake ice cream with condensed milk and oreo crumbs on top. I appreciate that the toppings are unlimited, and Icey Poki has many options! The ice cream is $7.66 (including tax) no matter how many toppings you get. The fruits were fresh and sweet, and the lychee ice cream was delicious. There were chunks of lychee in the ice cream so I know Icey Poki uses real ingredients. I went on a Thursday evening around 7PM, and it was not crowded. They have a lot of space and seating. They moved the ice cream to the side with the poki bowls though so you can't see them roll the ice cream. I've been a customer here for years and my last order was the most disappointing. Over the years it's been a build up of ",Wow this is the best poke ever!", to "it'll do", and now to "I'll never come back". The quality of the fish has gone down and sometimes I wonder if they're using Costco salmon or some thing because it felt like it was mushy and you know that texture when you leave raw salmon sitting in water for too long? The consistency was gagging (not in a good way) and the toppings are stale. My previous bowl had stale wonton chips and hot Cheetos. Average prices for poke! Their fish quality is pretty good if you like your raw fish on the fatty side. Definitely try their salmon or hamachi! Came into Icey Poki after my homemade Poki ended in a disaster when I discovered rice weevils in my own bag of sushi grains at home Anyways, my partner decided it was probably better that we purchase a bowl of poke somewhere and then just add the toppings we prepped at home. Icey Poki isn't anything unique in regards to what they offer or how they serve their poke. It's quite standard practice. You tell them what you'd like by filling out a slip of paper, present the paper to the cashier, and pay while they assemble your bowl in the process. While we were the only ones present, it was a bit confusing as to why it took awhile for me to receive my poke bowl and California roll. I didn't think my bowl had any special modifications that would make it take so long, but regardless, I appreciated their time in crafting my bowl. The two stars deducted are due to the fact that I asked for hamachi, tuna, and scallops, to which I received a small scoop of tuna, a really scant amount of scallops, and NO hamachi I received salmon instead, and usually I'd be okay with it, but because I already had salmon waiting for me at home, I was a bit annoyed that I didn't get my hamachi and that I had to wait a while for my bowl and roll. The bowl overall was alright. Toppings were quite sparse (except for the sesame seeds!) and nothing special screamed out of my bowl. I'm really conflicted about this review. On one hand, the poke bowl I got was packed full of toppings that I felt like it's such good value. I mean look at the attached photo, it's a very pretty and a very phatttt bowl. On the other hand, the other reviewers weren't kidding when they said it also comes with SO MUCH SAUCE. Too much... to the point where it's almost gross and very hard to eat. I got a regular bowl with mixed greens, took my first bite and had to spit it out because I just couldn't do it. It was very reminiscent of one of those salads with 4x the amount of salad dressing. Luckily, I was home and had rice to mix in with it and still have plenty left over. So I guess the value here is you can get one bowl and split it into two meals with some extra rice. The amount of sauce the provide though... if I do come back (which I'm not too sure I will), I'll have to ask for sauce on the side or continue to mix in my own rice. I got the salmon, tuna and Hamachi. It was over half salad and half zucchini noodles. I got a bunch of toppings, picked the sauce and topped it with some crunchy stuff. It's a decent size bowl and I was full. I did notice the crab salad was complementary, but the seaweed salad was not. Mine was a bit watery - I'm not sure if it was the zucchini noodles or because I didn't get rice to soak up the liquids. Price-wise - it's not bad for a regular size bowl, just a bit over $15. I looked at both doordash and grubhub and they had different options to choose from. So check both if you don't see something that they normally have at these poke places. read more

[ During Covid Review ] Came here because a friend of ours recommended this place for some good Poke. Just like other restaurants, due to covid they do not allow any customers to dine in and eat inside. All the staff here are very nice and wears a mask which is great. My friend does come here all the time and it seems like they remember customers so that was a nice added touch to this place. The way this Poke place takes orders is either through Delivery or you can go and grab a slip of paper and mark what you want to order. I would say that compared to other poke places, the only thing that makes them different that some place don't offer are zucchini noodles and hot cheetos (as a "crunch"). If you get a regular bowl you get 3 protein options while a large bowl gives you 4 protein options. Just like any other poke shop, premium toppings (meaning it costs extra bucks) are: Mangos, avocados, seaweed salad, tamago, shrimp tempura and an extra scoop of crab. I gave this place a 3 stars because it seems like the amount of protein they give you is smaller compared to other poke shops I've been to. Also when I ordered my poke, I had zucchini noodles which was good, but my sauces didn't get through to my proteins and toppings. By the time I finished my poke bowl, I found all the sauce at the bottom of the bowl all watered down. Perhaps this is because of the zucchini noodles, but because of the lack of flavor my poke bowl was very bland despite having 3-4 different sauces mixed in. read more

I see mixed reviews about this place, but I think think their poke portions are generous and good. I came on a saturday afternoon and this isn't your normal poke place where the person asks you what you want in your bowl. Instead, you fill out a piece of paper with what you want and they make your food for you. I do like the concept of having to write what you want as it can eliminate inconsistency with making the bowls and can be faster than having the worker ask you what you want and you just stand there and think about it. The employees there are nice but you don't really talk to them besides at the beginning and at the end when you receive your bowl. I thought the portion sizes for the fish were great and you get a lot of the protein. The bowl itself is quite large and they actually fill it to the top. However, I got half rice half salad and salad takes up a lot of area in the bowl so maybe that is why. It seems like they get a lot of orders through food delivery apps and seems like most of the bad reviews are coming from that. I always order in person where the portions are a bit more generous. I understand that the fish quality might not be as good as other places but I think this place is pretty good!
