Needed manicures while visiting LA. Found this lovely little salon and decided to give them a try. Best decision of the day so far! Staff was amazing. They fit us in quickly despite having only 2 techs available and clients with appointments on the way. My sister had a dip while I went with a basic gel. Technicians were amazing. I stopped by for a mani- pedi and left very satisfied. It wasn't too busy when I went in and I was seated within 30 mins. Tools were clean, which I was super happy about, and the massage chair was very comfortable. I was super relaxed and happy with my hands and feet! Price was also reasonable. Very unhappy with the "pedicure" all I asked for was a good foot soak and scrub I didn't care for the polish/gel didn't even clean the cuticles around my nails right didn't even scrub the side on my foot or even my ankles Yes I'm over weight but also was willing to pay for that extra work and I did address it before booking my appointment I pointed out what I needed now if you couldn't accommodate then they should've let me know and not waste my money or time read more

My go-to nail salon was closed so I came across this one and decided to try it out . Service I got done was average, I didnt like or dislike if that makes sense. I took my daughters with me 9 and 8 yr old and they had pedi/mani . I was charged for them as regular adult service , mind you my 8 yr olds pedicure was like 5 mins long , no massage, no nothing. I was charged $28 per pedicure , and for their gel nails $35 and $54. I think this was overpriced. I don't argue over prices you give your work, but I will not be going back for sure. I thought they took advantage of the situation and their prices were not reasonable. Other nail salons have different price point for kids , because obviously it's not the same work being done as an adult! Not happy at all to pay close to $300 for nails . They lost my business for sure. read more

I came in 30 minutes before closing and asked if I they were open and if I could get a pedicure . They took me with no hesitation and took their time with my pedicure. This establishment offers fast and friendly nail service to the public. I called for an pedicure appointment and received a quick response rather quickly. Upon my visit, I quickly noticed this establishment did not have all of the bells and whistles most are accustomed to from a nail saloon. Yet, as I have learned over the years.... never judge a book by it's cover! The staff is very friendly and will give you prompt service with a smile. In today's crazy times. that's my main concern. Receiving reasonably prices services,... I'm paying you for! So, Meh! No complaints from me. Now, the question truly remains: if I'd return again for my nail service's. And the answer is a definitive,... Yes! FYI,...a man should not be cutting up the sheets with his "Razor-Sharp-Toe-Nails"...So yeah. I get pedicures. I didn't know what to expect when my friend and I came here, but I was delightfully surprised. They took us both as walk ins during the lunch hour. Alex greeted us at the door, offered us water or coffee and set us up with walk in appointments on the spot. My Nail Tech - Anthony, was quick and efficient. The Color books have a wonderful variety of colors to choose from and I chose 219. It came out terrific and I am pleased that I even have time to get something to eat. read more

I had been a customer of Lecheta for three years. Upon arrival to a recent appointment I discovered that they were under new ownership. I'm very particular with where I get my nails done but decided to keep the appointment and give them a chance. Long story short, I developed a fungal infection in my left big toe and it ended up completely falling off leaving the nail bed fully exposed. I've never experienced a fungal infection in my life and there's no way I picked it up anywhere else. I'm pending a podiatry appointment and clearly won't be returning to Lecheta. read more

I decided to give Lecheta Nail Bar a try after having a rather rude experience at my usual nail spot. I called ahead to see if they'd take me and explained that I would like my services before I need to pick up my kids from school, lol. They didn't make any promises, but they sure delivered! I walked in and was greeted by name which made me feel special right off the bat. I requested a acrylic full set with regular polish (UV light doesn't agree with me) and a regular pedicure. Both nail technicians were polite, kind and just very mellow. I requested a specific design I found online on my acrylics and was very happy! The establishment itself is clean and airy. The only thing I was sad about was not having my nails photographed! But it's okay, I'll do it on here! I definitely intend to come back read more

Told them 3 separate times the water was too cold for my pedicure so I was not interested in putting my feet in. Gave me about 4 seconds worth of hot water. The person also cut me twice during the pedicure and I ended up bleeding. I see air bubbles on my nails after the polish before even walking out. No one else was there getting service at the time I was there, so no need for rushing. read more

My usual spot was closed so I decided to check out Yelp and go to the nearest one with good reviews. I Can see why this place had great reviews. My favorite thing was the ambiance. The music was so relaxing... like the kind they put on when you get a massage. Also, it was quiet. And as a mom of three, I didn't realize how much I appreciated silence until I experienced it. The nail tech was humming a beautiful tune most of the time instead of talking which added to the relaxing ambiance. Everything was very clean and organized. The customer service was great. They welcomed me and checked on me a few times to make sure all was well. They also offered water, coffee or tea! Nice touch. Oh and they did a great gel polish which is hard to find. I love my usual spot but when I need a more quiet environment, I think I'll come here. read more

I stopped in yesterday since my regular nail tech is currently on vacation. I needed a fill and a trim and they were able to take me as a walk-in. Ana did a great job & my nails came out so pretty! Her attention to detail was great and she kept checking in to make sure I was satisfied with everything. Staff was very nice. My nails came out very cute. But I did ask for him to not pop off my nails, and that I wanted to soak off and they continued to pop them off. My nails were super sore afterwards, so that's my only complaint. Also, the person who did my toes didn't do the topcoat properly so they got dusty quick. read more

I have ombre nails and asked if u could go buy opi warm pink and bring it back to their shop to fix my broken off nail. I even said it doesn't need to be ombre I just need a nail put on. Literally I just don't want to be nail free. The owner refused. He said because I didn't get my set from them they couldn't and wouldn't even do a basic fill on me. And he refused to let anyone else in the shop do it. I even said u won't have to do the white. This place is a joke. Save your money. read more

They were unwilling to simply remove what had been done without charging me, and the whole situation left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. I've been a customer of Downey Nails and Lashes for nearly two years, and the nail technicians have…read morebeen phenomenal. Their work is consistently excellent, which is why I've often recommended them to friends and family. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the salon's management and front desk staff. Their scheduling and customer service are extremely disorganized, and they seem to have little regard for the customer experience. The salon routinely overbooks technicians and assigns walk-in clients to technicians who already have upcoming appointments. Despite making appointments every time I've visited, I've regularly been forced to wait 15-30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, even though I make a point of arriving early as a courtesy. My most recent experience was the final straw. I scheduled both a lash lift and an acrylic fill. When I called, the receptionist told me my lash appointment would be at 5:00 PM and my nail appointment at 6:00 PM. However, the text confirmation I received only listed a 6:00 PM appointment. On previous visits, I had been told by the front desk that appointments are not considered booked without a text confirmation, so I reasonably assumed the salon had adjusted my schedule and moved the lash appointment. When I arrived at 6:00 PM, the receptionist informed me that the text confirmation was incorrect, my lash appointment had actually been at 5:00 PM, and I had missed it. No apology was offered, nor did anyone attempt to rebook the service. I then asked if I could still proceed with my 6:00 PM nail appointment, only to be told that my nail technician would not be available for another hour. The receptionist blamed the delay on my technician's timing, which was both inappropriate and inaccurate. I've worked with the same technician for two years, and she has always been professional, efficient, and respectful of her appointment schedule. It was clear that the salon had double-booked over my appointment. Their only solution was for me to return at 7:00 PM, which was not possible given my schedule. This experience was incredibly frustrating because I genuinely love the work of the nail technicians. However, I can no longer tolerate the level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of accountability from management. As a result, I will not be returning, and I can no longer recommend this salon to others. The business needs to get control of its scheduling and customer volume before more loyal customers have similar experiences.

I am not unfamiliar with builder gel. I have never had a nail lift so quickly like this... I felt that maybe the free edge was not sealed properly each time. The first time, it lifted the next day but I worked all weekend and couldn't make it back in for a few days... I paid $10 for a fix. Fair enough I suppose, as I couldn't come in immediately. Now a day later, after I came in for that fix, I could tell it was lifting again and called immediately. This time they fixed it for free. But it's been 6 days and the same nail is once again lifting. Thankfully the rest of the nails have not lifted early but the shapes are pretty different. I understand builder gel is more difficult compared to other nail services but this was a frustrating experience, and I really wanted to like this studio. Maybe other manicure services are better. And like other reviewers mentioned, be aware of all the little fees. I am not used to all these extra charges so I didn't do my due diligence. But they will charge to cut your nails shorter, and like I said it was $10 for a fix without additional service (even though I had my nails done there).
