    Soup dumplings
    Amy D.

I wanted to love this place but the Shanghai soup dumplings didn't really live up to my expectations. The beef lo mein and pea leaves were good, but I can't say it was worth it -- especially when there are so many options to choose from in Chinatown. I enjoyed my time and the service was great. However, I'll keep looking around for the perfect soup dumplings. - AD

I just left from this place i stood in line for 15 waiting for the cashier to take my order she made me wait just to not serve me and stated that she told me it was closing she did not . I am a black women she with the short bob is racist!!

    Orange Chicken Kung Pao Shrimp

Food was so gas especially the orange chicken - crispy, flavorful, a bit of a kick in spice (perfect), and fresh taste.

Ordered vegetarian dish, with tofu, no egg & was brought a plain dish without tofu. Was yelled at for not ordering it clearly. Ordered green beans & they put chicken on it. Got yelled at for not specifying it should have been vegetarian.

We use to go to Lee Wing Wah as a family for many years. We haven't been there for awhile since they changed ownership. We decided to try it again. This place is spacious and have big tables, which was one of the draws, as we rolled 16-people deep this time around. They also have a large upstairs dining area, where you can hosts receptions, parties, etc. The food was great!! We had some shrimp/corn soup, sweet and sour pork shortribs (my favorite!), green beans, fish fillet with chives, whole chicken, and salt and pepper shrimp. All dishes were really good and my Asian family liked it a lot. Genuine authentic Cantonese guandong style approved! BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in the back the bathroom was pleasantly decent. This is Chinatown after all. Men's bathroom had one urinal and toilet, single-person sink, and a decent air hand dryer. Sit or squat? Squat.

They even not mention without tax

Thank you for sharing your experience -- it sounds frustrating and disappointing. Here's a clearer version of your feedback that you can post as a review or share with the restaurant if you'd like: --- **My Experience:** The food was okay -- not great, but not bad either. I parked my car at the nearby China public parking, which cost me \$2 for 3 hours. This restaurant is listed as part of the participating locations that validate or offer a discount with parking. We spent \$24.48 on our meal. However, when it came time to pay, they initially tried to charge us \$30. After I showed them the parking ticket and asked why the price was different, the staff changed their words and said it was "\$25 without tax." The situation made me feel really uncomfortable and disappointed. I ended up spending more money than expected. It felt dishonest and left a bad impression.

What's with all the negativity on the service? I find that their dishes are some of the best I've tasted. And 4 full entrees- Clams, Seafood combination noodles, Chinese vegetable, and Beef Chow Fun, including tax, only cost $78 total. It's a restaurant in Chinatown - people usually come here for good food at good prices. We were served with hot tea and water when seated, and the waitress quickly took our order (don't recall her smiling, which was fine ). We enjoyed the overall experience, and will visit again when we are in town again.

Came to explore Chinatown! We got the shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice with veggie egg rolls. The egg rolls was okay just too much grease. The shrimp Fried rice was okay as well the chicken rice tastes a little funny my sister didn't like it. She wanted to take back the rice, but they was very rude because she didn't like it and wanted to take it back which they threw a tantrum about then at that watched me while eating which was weird. Service is horrible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Doesn't look that clean either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ginger scallion fish fillet, walnut shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp, and chicken fried rice

My friends and I ordered a chicken fried rice, ginger scallion fish fillet, salt and pepper shrimp, sweet and sour tofu, and honey walnut shrimp. I really liked the bold flavors of the fried rice and salt and pepper shrimp! The walnut shrimp had a really good bite, but I wasn't a huge fan of eating sweet mayo. The fish fillet was decent too, but not my favorite. I think I would have preferred a more saucey fish. Overall, I liked eating here. We had big portions for a good price!

I'm not quite sure why this place doesn't have five stars as my family loves it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating when we request certain things be made vegetarian (meat withheld) and no MSG added. The portions are very large and the flavors are authentic. The price is also extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend ordering a family style meal and trying multiple things. As a vegetarian, the fried green beans and the salt and pepper tofu are a must!

Their menu is pretty extensive and they offer a variety of dishes. We had a party of 8 and plenty of space in their dining room to accommodate large parties. They even take reservations! Portions were large and we even had left overs. The crab rangoon was bland. Portion size and filling was on point, but just lacked flavored. The dumplings had a good amount of pork filling and the dough had a nice chewy bite. Be sure to top it with the ginger black vinegar sauce too! The steamed fish was delish with the black bean soy sauce. Our waitress even picked the bones out for us. Eggplant was in a flavorful garlic gravy. Eat it with rice and it's a comfort for me. Honey walnut shrimp was crispy and the sweet. The two dishes that stood out to me was the salted fish and chicken fried rice and garlic ribs. The rice was light and flavored just right and not salty. The garlic ribs were super meaty and finger licking good!!! All in all, the food was great, but not epic. I'd come back and try other foods on the menu though.

We ordered like the PERFECT amount of food and best variety. Roast duck: I honestly don't know if I've ever had duck before, but I'm a duck believer now. The skin on theirs was the perfect crispy shatter texture and the duck was sooooo juicy! I don't know why I was always so worried about it being gamey. They give you fluffy steamed bao buns, a sauce, and scallions on the side as well as duck fried rice! Turnip cake: Obviously a must any time I come to dim sum. I've never seen turnip in any other form than this. Japanese salt & pepper tofu: My FAVORITE dish ever. Any fried salt & pepper tofu always makes me happy. They use a creamy egg-like tofu and the outside is lightly crispy with amazing aromatics stir fried in. Steamed white rice on the side is perfect with this. Loved everything else my dinner buds picked and we were super full by the end! Service was good and food came out fast and scorching hot! ***Parking in the area is treacherous (not the restaurants fault, but reconsider driving if possible bc cell signal can be zero to none around the garages if you get lucky) ***Their website allows you to request a reservation as long as it's 3 hours before your desired time. We came on a Saturday evening around dinner time and there was plenty of room for us to get a table immediately as walk-ins!

I was able to get a last minute reservation for me and my friends, and we were even able to sit inside. The teapot "group" drink was hard to pour, but that was truly my only complaint of the night. A few dishes, like the Duck Fried Rice, Pork Belly, and Beef Noodle Soup, were actually pretty solid. But the rest of the night was just so frustrating that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The Jiaozi were the first big letdown. The menu said they were beef short rib and bone marrow, but they didn't taste like that at all. The filling was just super mushy and the flavor was just weird. The manager and the food runner were nice when we mentioned it, but our actual server was a disaster. When we tried the Goat Noodles, all we could taste was cumin. It was so overwhelming that it covered up everything else. We couldn't even tell if there was actually any goat shoulder in there. When we told our waiter, she couldn't care less. She got totally defensive, wouldn't even listen to us, and just said, "Oh, I told you when you ordered that the dish is cumin forward" and walked away. It got worse when the bill came. She was holding on to the payment machine so hard and almost yanked it right out of my friend's hand. She was staring at it to see what we were tipping. It was so awkward and incredibly rude. No thank you, no nothing. She just grabbed it and left. The place has potential, but they really need to fix the food and retrain the staff. A cool vibe doesn't make up for bad food and awful service.
