Great place for sandwiches! We had lunch here while visiting Pasadena and thank goodness we did. The sandwiches and onion rings and tater tots were excellent and so was the service. Seating area was no nonsense fast food-ish, but that's what you would expect. They also had a serve yourself condiment area with hot sauces, peppers and pickles, etc. But the sandwiches were the star of the show. If this place was closer to where we lived, we would be here all the time.

Yummy lunch options! So glad I discovered this place. My sister introduced it to me yesterday. I tried the chicken Caesar wrap was delicious. It was very filling. They also have a really good bar with lots of pickled veggies. I would like to go back and try the chicken hoagie next time! Service was very friendly and prompt as well. Interior is small and cozy with tv screens up and lots of windows with natural lighting.

    Pickled veggie bar so dope!

I've been here twice already but still haven't tried their hoagies. I drive past this spot every morning and finally decided to stop in for their breakfast burritos. The burritos are pretty good and on the simple side. They're a decent size, not overly big, but enough to fill you up. I usually get the combo where you pick three meats, and I go with sausage, ham, and chorizo. They include some hot sauce which is okay, but what really takes it to the next level is their pickle bar. They have a whole setup of different pickled items and you can help yourself. It's pretty awesome and definitely adds something extra to the burrito. I'll be back for sure, and next time I'll probably try the sandwiches too.

Combo breakfast burrito with ham, sausage and bacon with a coffee. $14 total

First time ordering a breakfast burrito from Lee's. This morning I ordered the combo breakfast burrito with bacon, ham and sausage. You have a choice of potatos, hash browns or tater tots. I choose the tots and I order a small coffee. I ate inside the restaurant. My order only took about 10 minutes. My order was brought to my table with red and green hot sauces. Both hot sauces were good but I enjoyed the red the best. The burrito was delicious and tots were nice and crunchy. With the combination of ham, bacon and sausage this burrito was the bomb. The coffee that they brew is excellent. It did not need cream or sugar. I drank it black and it was great. My breakfast cost $14 even and I thought that was a great deal. By the way they sell breakfast burritos all day.

I came here early on a friday morning for take out. There was plenty of parking spots on front of the restaurant. However, the parking spots are a little small and narrow so be careful getting out of the car. I was greeted upon walking in and they took my order and gave me a suggestion for a hot sandwich. My husband didn't know they had that type of hoagie (Philly cheese steak). We also got a chicken hoagie, breakfast burrito, and a turkey melt sandwich. As I was waiting, the owner was chatting with another guest which made it feel very homey. Very casual and they have some tables outside for dining. They also do catering events in the evening which is why they close earlier. I wish they would stay open later because its a great sandwich shop!

These sandwiches/hoagies are delicious. The signature chicken hoagie is clear why it is the most popular one and their specialty. It is so juicy and packed with flavor. They have a self serve are with tons of different pickled vegetables that pair well with the hoagies. Staff are super nice and the value is amazing! Very clean interior with lots of seating.

You know I love family owned restaurants, the kind of place where the owner is always there and this is that kinda place, I was doing a radio interview for cheeseburgers on KNX and went here to try the burger the owner said forget about it! Is the chicken sandwich for what we are famous for, he was right !!!

    Italian Hoagie. Absolutely delicious!

My Italian friend from New York told me I had to try this place. Born and raised in the SGV and I've never been here. Ohhh Lee's Hoagie you haven't let me down! 1st I had the Italian Hoagie... Then on my 2nd visit I tried the Chicken . When I visited the first time and had the Italian, 6 people walked in and ordered the Chicken Hoagie. I wondered if I ordered the wrong one. Lol! The chicken was AMAZING too! I went in today for my 3rd visit and had the Italian again. Man it was KILLER!! Drenched in sauce and Spicer than my 1st Prego!

Visiting family in Pasadena so I figure they know the best places to eat. Came here for lunch. It is a family owned business with Shahan and his son. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, mom ordered grilled turkey and cheese, my sisters- Greek chicken salad and Philly Cheesesteak. The pastrami was delicious in fact I couldn't finish it it's so filled with delicious pastrami. The Greek salad a perfect balance of chicken, feta and greens. Philly cheesesteak was on a soft bun lot of meat. The owner , Shahan, was kind to make a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich ( not on the menu) for my mother. Has a large condiment bar. Definitely I'll be back next time I'm in the area

    Fabulous condiment bar.

Very clean and the first time in a long time my over-easy eggs were NOT over cooked. Perfect breakfast. I'll try the Hoagies another time, and will definitely bring family here. I arrived just before 11 AM (When they stop serving breakfast) and was lucky not to wait in line because there should be a line at this place; it impressed me so much.

Had this bookmarked & noticed that a few Yelp Friends have left their reviews on here. It looks like that hometown feel type of shop but the experience today was NOT that. Service was polite but not quite that welcoming that you would feel at a mom n pops shop. It's too bad coz if it were, we would frequent this diner/cafe. Most places that we're regulars at, we feel valued as patrons and are welcomed like family. I find less and less places have this kind of atmosphere. We ordered breakfast staples; Hubby ordered a machaca combo with flour tortillas & black beans, I opted for the (2 large!) banana walnut pancakes combo with chicken apple sausage, potatoes & over medium eggs. Our food arrived timely, hot and good presentation. Hubby said the machaca was decent because having had his fair share of machaca, these passed. My pancakes were huge! Flavor was good, as the banana slices & walnuts were cooked in, not just placed on top like most places. Macadamias would've been a better pairing though. The chicken apple sausage was flavorful & eggs were cooked as requested. Noise level was somewhat loud with all the clanging as tables were cleaned/bussed around us. Overall a decent experience for our first time visit, as mentioned, if the service was more thoughtful & welcoming, it would've made the difference from a 3 star to perhaps a 4 or a 5 star. Food for thought.

I swapped the bacon for tofu, and it made for a satisfying breakfast. However, my husband wasn't as impressed with his brisket burrito, saying it was a bit dry. That level of attention to detail isn't something you expect from every brunch café, and it definitely showed in the final cup. The cortado was well executed. The milk was smoothly integrated with the espresso, creating a balanced body that held together throughout the drink instead of separating after a few sips. It was served in the proper glass with clean presentation and solid latte art. The temperature was slightly hotter than my personal preference, which is understandable in a brunch setting, but overall it was a great cortado and far better than what many brunch cafés serve. Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.
