I was in the area visiting one of my hospitals so stopped by this Lee's location to grab lunch. I ordered the #38 which is the European sandwich on a croissant. When I opened to have my lunch I didn't think it look like advertisement but I wasn't going to be picky. After eating half of it my stomach immediately started not feeling good. I ignored and it went away but kept coming back all afternoon hurting so bad I had to hug my stomach while driving. Basically gave me good poison because I was sick all evening. read more

I never really leave reviews but this place was awful!! Went in yesterday and ordered a roast beef sandwich with a coffee. I asked the guy if it would be considered a combo and he said no. This was my second time going to a lees and the previous time was at different location. The previous location offered me a combo since I got a sandwich and coffee without me mentioning anything about it, they had amazing service and it was a pleasant experience . This location was horrible. What really got me mad is when I left and looked at my coffee and it was filled with ice to the lid! I took 3 sips and the drink was gone! Wow, I have to join the others with their thoughts about this location.... done. I've now been here four times since they opened and they've gotten steadily worse. Ordered the grilled pork and not only was their hardly any meat at all, what it did contain was almost all shreds/shavings. Veggies stopped a full inch from each end of the baguette and there wasn't enough to even spread out to reach the top. Couldn't even taste the spread either... but hey, the bread tasted good! Overall, a fail. Also got an iced mocha, and although it tasted good, it seriously had so much ice packed in it that there was practically no coffee. After I finished it, the ice was still packed all the way to the lid. They're doing everything they can to be as cheap as possible it seems - and they're succeeding. I know things have gotten more expensive, but that was $13 wasted. read more

Like all the other reviewers, I will not be returning to this location. Stick with to harbor or brookhust locations though further for me. Not only are putting in less meat (obvious in the turkey sandwich) but they are out of many items on the menu. Menu have strips of postit notes covering items. And I feel they charge so much more. It was so much better as family owned but with them franchising, quality and service has gone down. Plus use to cost less to get europe sandwiches on baguette but here, they were out of croissants yet still was charged croissants prices. I would have said something but didn't notice until I got home. Not going to complain, just Not going to return. Owner of this location, if you read this, I also just noticed that I was over charged on the sales tax. OC sales tax is still 7.75% not 8.75%. You should fix this before an attorney sees this and does something about it! read more

Everything was just so much more colorful back then and Lee's sandwich was vibing and always PACKED!!! They had the intercom system that called out your number in 2 languages lol. Fast forward 20 years later and Lee's is now some God-forsaken shit hole and an embarrassing representation of Vietnamese food. Lee sandwich offers a lot of Vietnamese fast food. I always get the banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork) because that is my favorite. I also always get the chicken wings. It is so addicting. I really recommend their viet coffee because it is strong and good. It will keep you awake. I have been to many lee sandwich before and this one sticks out because the workers are very nice.
