Wow! Shame on me for not returning here in a decade! So much has changed since the last time I've been here. The ambiance and decor is more modern. There's a neon symbol hanging on the wall of the entrance. I was able to get seated immediately as a walk-in on a Tuesday night. I ordered one of the Summer cocktails as my beverage of choice. For my appetizer, I went with the fried calamari and vegetable spring rolls with a side of sweet chilli sauce. Both the beverage and appetizers were delicious. I ordered the chicken and shrimp pineapple fried rice for my entrée with no regrets. it was a great portion of food. I was able to take some of this food to go. I was so full after my meal that I had no room for dessert. The waitress offered a free dessert of fried ice cream in the event that I wrote a Google review in live time which I did. This restaurant is highly recommended from my perspective for a date night, lunch, take-out, or a lovely solo dinner. I'm looking forward to returning here sooner than later.
Very delicious EVERYTHING. I got one of the tom yum noodle soups. The crab Rangoons were magical. The spring rolls were crispy and fluffy and amazing. Everyone else entrees looked amazing. The only thing I would pass on next time was the calamari as it was just okay. Everything else was to die for.
Vibrant Thai spot with a great mix of reliable classics and authentic regional dishes. We loved the Thai iced tea, fresh spring rolls, Thai curry, and drunken noodles with tofu and veggies. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, and the service was excellent. Ambiance is a bit tacky with all lemons & green grass but nothing bothersome. Definitely a go-to spot for your next Thai food craving!
This place can be a little bit of a wait so don't be surprised if there is a line! The food her is fantastic I love every dish I ever had and the portions are huge! I love in traditional dishes like green curry they give you the option to have a choice of protein such as crispy pork belly. Definitely do the crispy pork belly you will not be disappointed. The cocktail menu is extensive and delicious. They have certain drinks that are service inside of the fruit which is a fun touch. The decor is cute very island floral inspired and the bathrooms have always been clean, which is a plus in the city!
Lemongrass Brooklyn is a great spot for a fun night out with beautiful presentation and genuinely tasty food. The ambiance is lovely, with lemon accents throughout and a warm, lively atmosphere. Service was attentive and friendly all night. We started with the watermelon margarita, served in a hollowed out watermelon and garnished with edible flowers, pineapple, and mint. It was as delicious as it was photogenic. The lychee juice was also very refreshing and delightful! The standout of the night was the duck - we ordered the duck bao and duck choo chee (granted I also love duck lol), incredibly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served in a generous portion that we could barely finish. We also shared the soft shell crab salad and the eggplant basil with crispy pork belly, both well textured and beautifully plated. We ended with the mango sticky rice, a perfect not too heavy way to close out the meal. Highly recommend for a date night or a celebration with friends. Will definitely be back.
We enjoyed a nice night at an outdoor table among the faux flowers, which helped not make it so obvious that you're sitting on a busy sidewalk. We had friendly service and very tasty food. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant and the large menu with many vegetarian options. It was hard to choose, but I ordered the tom yum soup with veggies and a salad and I was very fully and happy.
I ordered grilled wings and it's 4 drums and 1 wing, I wished they could have called it Grilled Drums, the dish is cold, inside is not completely cooked. I have eaten here a few times and ordered the same thing before, not impressed this time
Had dinner at Lemongrass on Court St in Brooklyn with my little one. Ordered the crab fried rice--on its own it was nothing special, but once I mixed it with the sauce on the side, the flavor really came through. What worked well for me as a parent: I could scoop out a plain portion for my kid first, then mix the sauce into the rest. One dish, two ways. The clam soup was quite savory, no fishy taste, and the clams were tender. The broth had that Thai-style sourness that wakes up your appetite. The shrimp the server brought out was crispy with a creamy sweet glaze--enjoyable to eat. The short rib was tender and well seasoned. Also tried two non-alcoholic drinks--the mulberry one leaned more fruity and tart, while the rose one had a noticeable floral aroma. Neither was overly sweet; both were refreshing. Overall a comfortable meal, the kind of place I'd go back to.
Wowww I need to go out more because I didn't know this place existed. They have lemon decor everywhere. I find that to be cool, because I never been to a restaurant like that before. They have gluten free, halal, and vegan options. I had to get the watermelon margarita because it looks so cool. It was definitely a good choice I made. For appetizer I got the Thai BBQ wings, very good, they were nice and crispy. The Crispy Pork Belly Bao, OMG, my favorite. I think it was the thickness and how will it was fried. It was crispy, and tender. I would go back just for that. I got the Bae Mee Pok Pok, which was delicious. I also got the pineapple fried rice with chicken. As for dessert, it was my first time having mango sticky rice, and I really like it. I did not expect to like it, or for it to go together, but that coconut sauce was so good, it was warm and sweet. The rice was nice and warm too. And the mangoes were fresh and juicy. I will definitely go back. Seems like a good place to go on a date, or hang with friends, or come for an occasion like birthdays. The service was also very good, and wait was not long.
Haven't been here in years! But last Sunday I decided to stop in around 8pm to grab a bite. It was so packed when we arrived, I didn't think we were going to get a table but luckily we were able to snag a table right away since it was just 2 of us. The service was good, nothing too spectacular or overly friendly but it was quick and efficient. We had a young lady that was training, so she was being guided by someone else but she did a good job. Drinks: w head the cha-ba and the passion fruit margarita. The cha-ba was a big miss but the passion fruit margarita was great! Food: we had the shrimp roll to start. It came out piping hot and was flavorful and the sweet chili sauce complimented it well. For entrees we had the pad Thai noodle with chicken and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The pineapple fried rice was a big serving and it was very good! The pad Thai serving was more on the smaller side. I wish I would've asked if they could make it spicy because I requested chili oil after to add to it but they didn't have. Spice aside, the flavors were great!
We had a great meal at Lemongrass in Brooklyn! Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The inside of the restaurant was on theme with all the lemons and I loved it! It brings a great pop of color. For drinks, we tried the Yuzu Margarita and the Piña Colada Mocktail. The Yuzu Margarita had a refreshing citrusy flavor, while the mocktail was creamy, tropical, and perfect if you're looking for a non-alcoholic option. To start, we ordered the Tofu Bao Bun and Calamari. The bao bun was soft and fluffy with well-seasoned tofu, and the calamari was crispy without feeling too heavy. For our mains, we had the Spaghetti Kee Mao and the Fresh Basil Fried Rice with tofu (no egg). The Kee Mao was packed with bold Thai flavors and had just the right amount of spice. The basil fried rice was fragrant, satisfying, and made exactly as requested, making it a great vegetarian option. We wrapped up the meal with the Mango Sticky Rice, which was the perfect ending. The mango was sweet and ripe, and the sticky rice was rich and creamy with just the right amount of coconut flavor. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and attentive service. We'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!
I like eating here, every dish I've tried has been really tasty, and the service is always quick. The staff is friendly, and there's a nice, relaxed vibe with light music playing in the background. The only thing to keep in mind is that the space is pretty tight, so if you're planning to have a private conversation, just know that your neighbors will probably hear it all. I appreciate that there's plenty of street parking, which makes getting here easy. The wait to be seated is pretty quick. This was my third visit, and I decided to come in during the early lunch hour at 12:30 p.m. The restaurant was quiet, with only two other people dining, but by the time we finished our meal, the place had filled up. I always appreciate the staff here--they're kind and very helpful with recommendations. The drinks are consistently creative and delicious, and the food never disappoints. It's always top-notch Thai. I like to try something new each time I visit, so this time, my partner and I ordered the Udon Kee Mao, and I had the Noodle Mao. Both were full of flavor and really hit the spot. tldr: some of the best Thai food in the area, and would definitely come back! Came here for dinner on a weekday and the restaurant was bustling! There were couples on dates, people eating themselves, large groups of friends, and families as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated and perfect for date nights or just a dinner with friends. We were seated pretty quickly and the staff were really friendly in helping us get our order in. The fresh summer rolls were absolutely to die for! They were some of the most refreshing summer rolls I've had, and I really liked the texture of the rice paper wraps. I also tried the mango shrimp - the shrimp was nicely cooked but I wish the mangos were just a bit sweeter. The pad thai was delicious, but what really stood out was the duck curry! The duck was juicy and crispy, and the dish came with way more duck than I thought it would. We also got some drinks - as someone who likes fruity and sweet cocktails, I would recommend the coconut mojito! And of course, you HAVE TO get the mango sticky rice, and it was definitely top tier. read more

found this little gem of a restaurant in BK randomly on a walk! The ambiance is full of florals and decor - definitely a cute place to check out. The food was so good! I got panang curry and usually restaurants may make it a bit watery but here it was thick with a lot of chicken and vegetables. Also really liked the kee mao - a thai place that does kee mao well does a lot of other dishes well. Overall would recommend trying out this place if you're ever in the area! Get anything with curry or broth and you won't regret it! I loved their khao soi, which was so flavorful. Green curry was also delicious! Highly recommend getting the crispy pork belly as your protein of choice! The aesthetic of this place is extremely floral and pretty. We were all in awe by the decorations! This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. I've been to Lemongrass several times and never been disappointed. Their menu is quite extensive. They have several curries and sautés with a number of protein options (or vegetables) in addition to noodle and rice dishes. There are also some house specialties. On this visit, I had Pad Thai with crispy pork belly and my fellow diner had Thai fried rice with chicken. My dish was more than ample (I took home what I couldn't eat for the next day's lunch) Lemongrass has an interesting cocktail menu as well. This place isn't for grown folk that enjoy their meals. Shoutout to the waitress, I forgot her name but she was the one delight of my visit. There is a security guard out front, which made me wonder. The space is tight, real tight. Food is ok, but you can't spread out to enjoy it. You have to eat with your elbows tucked, I kept envisioning I was setting myself up to bench press with how I had to tuck my elbows. Definitely don't not bring kids when it is crowded but it appears always crowded. My entree arrived maybe 10 minutes after my appetizer was brought to my table. I had to send it back. One it came at too fast and tow there was just no space on the small table to accommodate any more anything much less a big entree. Decor is floral, I guess that's the kicker. I was told it is TikTok famous, thus the reasoning for such a crowd. However, there is just no space. You feel like you are on top of the next table. read more

The service is impeccable, the dishes are beautifully played, and the flavor punch in everything from the Tom Yum to the duck was out of this world! Obsessed with this spot. One of the best Thai restaurants in the Cobble hill area. The place is always seasonally decorated so it has a great ambiance and the food is excellent. Ordered the pad thai, Brooklyn steak, crab Rangoon, calamari and lychee shrimp. The shrimp were fresh extra large pieces and were similar to honey walnut shrimp in flavor. The pad thai had a lot of flavor and was presented beautifully. Heads up the Brooklyn steak is only made to medium rare or medium well but it was great price for a good portion and came with vegetables and rice. Staff are really nice and will accommodate. Make a reservation if going Friday-Sunday, they get busy. read more

Lemongrass in Brooklyn is fantastic! The space is beautiful, and the drinks are huge and well-presented -- I had a Coconut Mojito - $24.00 and a Piña Colada - $24.00, both excellent. For food, I tried the Crispy Pork Bao - $12.95, Thai Grilled Beef Salad - $16.95, Chiang Mai Mee with Beef - $23.95, and Massaman Curry with Duck - $30.45. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream - $12.00 was the perfect finish. Service was friendly, and the attention to detail really shows. Interior looked like it had good ambience and we were serviced in a timely manner, though weirdly security prevents us from walking in without even asking if we're dining in or taking out. Decided to try this place after seeing all the great reviews and it did not disappoint. I had the pad see ew with shrimp and a watermelon margarita which was so pretty and fancy and tasted amazing. Also got the fried ice cream for dessert. The food was fresh and delicious and the fried ice cream shell was one of the best I've ever had honestly. Prices are fair for the neighborhood and I'll definitely be back to try other menu items. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Our servers were so nice!!! ft: -chicken satay: my friends really loved this one. the flavors were perfect and the chicken was tender. -fried shrimp dumplings: loved how the outside was crunchier and the inside was more soft and chewy. great combination!! -crab meat fried rice: I LOVE FRIED RICE. this was perfect. perfectly seasoned, perfect everything!!! -baby pork ribs: the marinade/sauce on these ribs was tangy and salty, and the meat was very tender. The food here is immaculate - there is plenty of traditional thai dishes and lots of halal options as well. i enjoyed the chiang mai noodles and brooklyn's steak. the noodles were packed with flavor and could literally serve up to 3 people. the steak was cooked to perfection and elegantly seasoned the wings were a hit. we had so much food we couldn't finish it all. be sure to request for hot sauce on the side it's a perfect touch to the noodles and wings. the service was good very helpful and kind. the ambiance was beautiful absolute gorgeous 10/10 A+ will go back here again and again and again and again read more

This restaurant is GORGEOUS! It is so visually appealing especially the food! I had the Chicken Satay and Crispy Wontons it was so delicious, I really loved their peanut sauce that went with the Chicken Satay. The drinks are so stunning, I love all the details, the Watermelon Margarita and Coconut Mojito are a must try! Our dinner was amazing the Brooklyn Steak came out sizzling hot and so full of flavor! I also had the Mango Shrimp which was the best Shrimp I've ever had and I'm a huge shrimp liver so that's huge and it was just that! The shrimp were HUGE! The mango pairs so perfectly with it! For dessert I couldn't resist trying the Fried Cheesecake I won't say anything about it you have to try it for yourself! The staff were incredible I highly recommend Lemongrass for amazing food and an amazing time BONUS if you want great photos this is the place for it! read more
Amazing Thai find in Brooklyn. Love visiting Brooklyn and this was first visit to Lemongrass but won't be the last! They hit all the bars of charm, service, presentation and YUM! Feels like walking into a floral wonderland from the outside and through the whole building. It's not too girly as the giant painted dragon is an incredible art installment. Server was attentive and in typical Thai fashion the food came out fast. Presentation was top notch in brass bowls and orchids and basil. Flavored lemonades were my favorite ever. We loved the mango and passion fruit options. I ordered seafood pad see ew with extra shrimp. Only downfall was my extra shrimp ended up on my bosses dish. All good as I had plenty to eat. Other favorite was the crispy goodness dumplings. Can't wait to return and may have ruined the west coast Thai favorites. read more
The prettiest Thai spot in Brooklyn! When you walk in, you'll see this bold and colorful dragon mural along with some beautiful flowers hanging from the ceiling! I love aesthetic restaurants such as this one because they are the best for a bestie meet up or a romantic dinner for two! Now onto the food: Appetizer: I tried the crispy calamari and roast pork bun! The calamari was so fresh and I really liked the sauce in the pork buns! The appetizers were actually pretty big and filling but luckily I still had room for the main course! Entree: I ordered the crispy basil duck and the seafood casserole! I honestly recommend any type of seafood dish at this restaurant because all the seafood in the casserole were so fresh and delicious! It was a homey dish to me because this is similar to a Cantonese casserole dish! I also loved the crispy duck skin and the basil sauce with the rice! Drinks & Dessert: I tried the Thai coffee and the Ploy Pairin which was this blue fruity pineapple drink! I loved how all the drinks and plates were beautifully plated! My cocktail also came with a shooter so I could adjust the alcohol level to my taste! And lastly for dessert, I tried the mango sticky rice! I really liked the coconut sauce with the rice and the refreshing mango ice cream!! I don't have a lot of Thai restaurants around me so trying this place out was such a treat! The decorations inside and out of this place were SO CUTE! I went here for dinner with my friend and her and I had the best time. It was cozy and comfortable, and the food was amazing. My favorite thing we ordered was the Thai country style dumplings, the most unique thing ever. Also, the drinks were so unique and big - great portions! What we ordered: Curry Puff $12.95 Thai Country Style Fried Dumpling $12.95 Duck Curry $33.95 Tom Yum Goong Creamy Soup $28.95 Mango Sticky Rice $12 Pina Colada $24 Path Siam $16 curry puffs were deliciously crispy and flaky and had nice curry flavor! duck curry is coconutty and not too spicy. the duck was slightly on the drier side but I really liked the curry! i looove tom yum soup so this really hit the spot! it was creamy with sweet and sour flavors plus generous portion with big shrimps! you can't go wrong with the mango sticky rice! it has a scoop of sticky rice, mango ice cream and cut mangoes! the sticky rice had good soft chewy consistency. the pina colada is definitely a show stopper cause your drink is served inside a giant pineapple! i really enjoyed the fruitiness! Great place! I love it here. The food is really good, the service is great, and everything comes out fast. The restaurant is a clean, pretty little Brooklyn nook in a lovely neighborhood( a great area for a walk too. ) Plan ahead if you can, they can get a wait, but if you stay close to the host, it's usually pretty quick. Honestly, the food and drinks are worth it, and the place even feels a little like a garden. We had the chicken satay, signature pineapple fried rice, inside the pineapple, BBQ pork ribs, and seafood drunken noodles... all of it was fresh, full of flavor, and delicious. Just found the most aesthetic display of thai food!! The way everything came out looking beautiful, I was worried the taste wouldn't live up to its looks but best believe it tasted just as good! It was pretty busy when my friend and I got there but thankfully we had reservations! The staff were super nice and the ambiance inside was amazing, perfect for a date night or friend's hangout. My friends got the Roast Pork Bao $12.95 came with two baos..slightly on the pricy side along with the curry puffs $12.95 but lowkey the price was worth it! Other appetizers were the Lychee Shrimp $12.95 and Fried Calamari 12.95. I don't know why i was surprised there were actual lychee but it was pretty. The calamari of course never disappoint!! Star of the show..entrees!: we got Mango Shrimp salad $17.95, Red Hot Chili Seafood $28.95, Pad See Ew *chicken* $18.95, Udon Kee Mao *chicken* $18.95. I had such an amazing time at Lemongrass Restaurant and Bar , it is definitely my new favorite Thai Restaurant in NYC. The drinks are also delicious , refreshing and beautiful featuring fresh fruit options in the Pina Colada, Watermelon Margarita, and Coconut Mojito. I definitely had the most delicious Thai Feast at Lemongrass. The appetizers are so tasty , with great options, and the entrees were delicious and cooked to perfection. Here's what I had: Pina Colada ( My Favorite ) Watermelon Margarita Tong Rumpai Flavored Peth Siam : Delicious Almost like A Lychee Mojito Appetizers: Lychee Shrimp (Crispy And Sweet ) Lemongrass Crispy Wings (Delicious and Flavorful) Entree : Duck Sam Rod (So delicious I choose the Tamarind Sauce) Salmon ( In Goddess In Garlic Sauce ) (Delicious Cooked to Perfection) Dessert : Blueberry Cheesecake ( Delicious and comes with a side of Icecream) I love that Lemongrass offers Vegan, Gluten Free , and Halal Options as well.
