This place can be a little bit of a wait so don't be surprised if there is a line! The food her is fantastic I love every dish I ever had and the portions are huge! I love in traditional dishes like green curry they give you the option to have a choice of protein such as crispy pork belly. Definitely do the crispy pork belly you will not be disappointed. The cocktail menu is extensive and delicious. They have certain drinks that are service inside of the fruit which is a fun touch. The decor is cute very island floral inspired and the bathrooms have always been clean, which is a plus in the city!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]the service and ambiance were both amazing as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]on the contrary, there was no air conditioner when I went in 100 degrees weather so sitting indoors with only a fan made me feel a bit uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] besides that, I think if you check out the restaurant when it's much cooler, you would definitely have a better experience! definitely check this place out when you get the chance!

Had dinner at Lemongrass on Court St in Brooklyn with my little one. Ordered the crab fried rice--on its own it was nothing special, but once I mixed it with the sauce on the side, the flavor really came through. What worked well for me as a parent: I could scoop out a plain portion for my kid first, then mix the sauce into the rest. One dish, two ways. The clam soup was quite savory, no fishy taste, and the clams were tender. The broth had that Thai-style sourness that wakes up your appetite. The shrimp the server brought out was crispy with a creamy sweet glaze--enjoyable to eat. The short rib was tender and well seasoned. Also tried two non-alcoholic drinks--the mulberry one leaned more fruity and tart, while the rose one had a noticeable floral aroma. Neither was overly sweet; both were refreshing. Overall a comfortable meal, the kind of place I'd go back to.

Haven't been here in years! But last Sunday I decided to stop in around 8pm to grab a bite. It was so packed when we arrived, I didn't think we were going to get a table but luckily we were able to snag a table right away since it was just 2 of us. The service was good, nothing too spectacular or overly friendly but it was quick and efficient. We had a young lady that was training, so she was being guided by someone else but she did a good job. Drinks: w head the cha-ba and the passion fruit margarita. The cha-ba was a big miss but the passion fruit margarita was great! Food: we had the shrimp roll to start. It came out piping hot and was flavorful and the sweet chili sauce complimented it well. For entrees we had the pad Thai noodle with chicken and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The pineapple fried rice was a big serving and it was very good! The pad Thai serving was more on the smaller side. I wish I would've asked if they could make it spicy because I requested chili oil after to add to it but they didn't have. Spice aside, the flavors were great!

Lemongrass Brooklyn never disappoints in their detailed presentations!!! Their summer cocktails served inside fresh fruit were such a fun touch and felt like we were on vacation. The Watermelon Margarita was refreshing and the Piña Colada was the perfect tropical treat. We started with the Lychee Shrimp and the Thai Grilled Beef salad, both packed with flavor to kick off the meal. For our mains, my favorite order was the Whole Fried Branzino with spicy choo chee curry on the side. My go-to order stole the show as it was crispy, tender, and spicy. The Khao Moo Dang my friends mentioned was both tasty satisfying. The Brooklyn Steak came sizzling and was juicy and cooked perfectly Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. I came here for dinner with my family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was very colorful and aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the BBQ beef ribs, the lemongrass pork chop, and the char siu and crab over dry egg noodles. All the dishes tasted really sweet for some reason especially the char siu. The portions were large though. Service was friendly and fast. They sure can pack a lot of people into a small space! So don't go here if you don't like crowds! Service was super quick though. I appreciate how quickly everything was brought out. Drinks were fine, a little under sweetened. Food was good, small portions than typical for Thai, but you could tell these dishes were made with higher quality ingredients (the fried rice didn't taste so oily)! Great spot for date night!

I was taken here on a surprise first date. Apparently, this establishment is well known on TikTok (I don't use TikTok). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is beautiful. Very quaint place with great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was also my first time trying Thai food and it didn't disappoint. The staff is kind and the food came out rather quickly even though they were busy. We had missed our reservation time but they were able to accommodate us anyway. I got the basil fried rice (I heard this is a staple) with shrimp and a Thai tea. I liked everything. The food was so flavorful. If you're unsure , Go!

Although the ambiance was quite dark, it was beautiful. The place was nicely designed and at moments, I even felt as if I was in a high-class restaurant. I was able to introduce a friend from China to Brooklyn this day, and bringing her to the restaurant increased her positive opinion about the borough. The food was also really good. It was nicely seasoned and portioned. The one con I did have about the place, however, is how close the tables were. You could directly hear what another couple was saying, and it was also difficult to move around because of the proximity. I found that experience to be very un-comforting. read more

Came to grab a bite to eat with my girlfriends. It was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh and seasoned well. The visual was appealing and the service was very good. I forgot her name, we sat outside but she was very knowledgeable of all menu items and gave suggestions on drinks to compliment the food. The interior is the restaurant in very small but pretty slit of photo opportunities. I went to the rest room and it was extremely clean with a pleasant smell. I give it a 10/10. Came here without any reservations on a Tuesday evening and was seated within 30 mins. It's a beautiful restaurant. Great ambience. We ordered the thai iced tea, papaya salad, rice rolls, green curry with chicken, basil fried rice and shrimp pad thai. The food was delicious, but the green curry was a bit salty and the ice tea was a bit sweet but it was fixed. Overall I would come back. read more

Came on a Thursday night cute decor i like what they have done to the place. No more 2 for 1 drinks, my date and I opted out for the watermelon which, is nothing but juice and a Lil shot of tequila. We orderd a second shot and still did nothing for a whole $10 but the drink was good; the shot can be bigger. Or they can make a real margarita plus the shot, not just just juice and lots of ice. I had the red hot seafood which, wasn't that spicy even with the jalapeños. My date had the noodles with shrimp and he said, it was good. My food was good as well. Lemongrass was recommended and I'm so glad we got to check it out while back in Brooklyn. as you can see, dinner for two looked like a feast for 5 LOL and we enjoyed every last dish! We got the shrimp rolls, fried calamari, crab rangoon, pad thai noodles, deep fried red snapper with thai chili garlic sauce and jasmine rice, coconut mojito and watermelon margarita my only regret was not leaving enough room for dessert! The moment you enter the restaurant, you'll be amazed by their yellow green facade decorated with flowers and lights. The inside is so welcoming and modern but also giving out this hip and romantic vibe. Amazing! Definitely giving them 5 stars for service, ambiance, cleanliness, and food!! We ordered two kinds of cocktails- the Peth Siam and Gomain, they were incredible and tasted so good!! For appetizers we got the Thai Country Style Dumplings and the Fried Lemongrass chicken, it comes with its dipping sauces, served crispy fried, so yummy!! For our entrees, we ordered the Grilled Porkchop lemongrass and Shrimp Woonsen, both are equally delicious dish. The waitstaff are so nice and pleasant which is a big plus! read more

Came on a Friday night around 8/9pm and had no issues getting seated. We chose their front outdoor area which was quite nice. Staff was extremely friendly. We only ordered main dishes, the Green Curry and the Pad Thai. I enjoyed my green curry and the nice veggie mix. It was good but didn't think it was anything special. The Pad Thai was entirely too sweet, though. It was a bit surprising. Still eatable but would suggest asking them to tone it down next time, if they are able. Would certainly come again and perhaps try different dishes. Their drinks also looked good but we didn't try them. Prices all around were quite reasonable. read more

My fiancé and I were shopping in Downtown BK, when we decided to stop by Lemongrass. Right away you feel like you're transported to a tropical paradise. The decor is beautiful, with lemons intertwined in the floral arches. We started our meal with 2 drinks. I got the coconut mojito and he got the Ploy Pairin. Both of our drinks were so delicious and his balanced nicely with the mix of curaçao. We shared an appetizer of chicken satay and the proportions were big! After finishing, I got the Green curry with chicken. It had a nice balance of sweet and spiciness. We ended our meal, splitting the fried banana. It was so crispy and was such a tasty bite, with the ice cream. Lemongrass is a gem in BK. Don't miss out! read more

Lemongrass Brooklyn serves a contemporary take on Thai food in a lively, stylish space. The interior dining room features an ornately decorated spot and plants throughout the space creating a supremely photographable background to enjoy your meal. The beautiful presentation is matched by the warm unctuous flavor of the perfectly cooked foods. The decor at Lemongrass was stunning. The food was ridiculous. The service was 10/10. Even the food presentation was stunning. I have a feeling I'll be back pretty soon. You all need to go check it out. For high-quality food, drinks, and service. So basically it's the most cutest Thai spot in Brooklyn to dine-in. For our folks in Brooklyn. You've got to try out Lemongrass Brooklyn! Very wheelchair accessible! They have security that help with opening the doors to get in and out. Easy to navigate around and are very accommodating. They have a wheelchair accessible bathroom that's really big and the sink is lowered. read more

I really enjoyed my time dining at Lemongrass Grill. It was date night and this was the perfect spot. We love Thai food so this was up our alley. Here's a list of what I ate and a few tips along the way: 1. Make reservations. If you dine here around 7/8pm (esp on a Friday) it will be packed. This restaurant is located in a busy area of Clinton Hill so be sure to have your reservation booked because you may have a bit of a wait. 2. Go all out! Order the cocktails that are served in either the watermelon or the pineapple (if you are not allergic). I tried the watermelon margarita instead an actual watermelon. The bartender knows what he's doing and has a heavy hand I can appreciate. 3. The appetizers are reasonably priced so get a few. We got the lychee shrimp and crispy wings. These weren't the best options on the menu. I should have stuck with crab Rangoon. The shrimp was delicious but we imagined it would be in a lychee sauce somehow and the wings were fried but not crispy. The wing dipping sauce was delicious though. 4. For entrees, they hit it out of the park w/ the portion sizes. We ended up taking the rest of our food to-go because it was so much. The fried salmon is a must!!!! It was the right kind of crispy and the salmon was still juicy and flavorful when you cut into it. The pineapple fried rice is a staple here and something you shouldn't miss. I added crispy fried duck as my protein and that was the right choice. So good so filling. I'm already looking at our calendar so we can head back here for another date night. read more

I came here with one of my friends had so many great dishes! The crispy wontons were so good and yummy. We had the pineapple fried rice with the crispy pork which was my favorite dish. I came here specifically to try the HALAL dishes, they have a few options on the menu. I chose the Brooklyn Steak, you can order it cooked to your liking. It has some veggies along with it and some white rice. Honestly it was so good! Definitely recommend! Cant wait to go back and try the other HALAL options. My friend chose the yellow curry with shrimp, he ate every last bit. And for starters he had the salad and i got calamari. Calamari is crispy and delicious. I also got the mango smoothie which was so rich and flavorful And last but not least the Fried cheesecake with icecream. Enough said ! You cant go wrong with this! The whole restaurant is decorated with lemon trees, the vibes are very chill and inviting. The staff is so respectful and understanding. You can say I had an amazing dinner! read more

You have to try Lemongrass, located in Boreum Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn! It's the cutest restaurant - I loved all the decor and color both inside and out! Their drinks are super fun -- I love this giant watermelon margarita, it made me feel like I was sitting on a beach in Thailand all night! All of the food is great, for appetizers I had the shrimp dumplings and chicken satay (loved the peanut sauce). For main entrees I tried the pork chop and the drunk noodles with giant prawns! We needed to find a restaurant in Brooklyn last minute on Christmas eve for lunch and Yelp came to the rescue! We were craving Thai cuisine and Lemongrass Grill hit the spot perfectly! Extremely Disappointed - Not First-Timer Friendly I had a very frustrating experience at Lemongrass in Brooklyn and unfortunately cannot recommend this place, especially to first-time Thai food diners. Before ordering, I asked my server to explain a dish to me. There was a language barrier, but I trusted her recommendation and went ahead with the order. When the food arrived, I immediately realized it wasn't what I expected--both in appearance and based on the explanation. I didn't even touch the dish. I asked if I could switch it out for something else, but was told I couldn't return the meal and would still have to pay for a new one on top of the one I hadn't eaten. I ended up forcing myself to eat something I didn't enjoy because I couldn't justify paying for two meals. Their rigid policy made for a truly unpleasant dinner, and I left feeling upset and unsatisfied. If you're new to Thai cuisine or value flexibility and customer service, this might not be the place for you. read more

The customer service and ambiance is on point. The seating inside is a line of square tables and they're pretty close together. So if you want you want your own space, I'd suggest sitting outside. Now to the food. I had the pad see ew lunch special. It was a bit pricey for a lunch special but I guess that's how it is downtown. The noodles were good but chicken wasn't the greatest. It was unseasoned and it felt like they just threw it in there after the rest of the meal was done. Could be an off day. I'll definitely try them out again. read more

To start off, we had the Cheeseburger Dumplings ($12), which was so unique. We've never had something like this and they executed it really well. The dumplings were filled with meat and fried with a skirt. The cheese part was topped over it like a melty dressing, so a delicious and special dish here. Plus, it had a side salad to balance all the grease here. For the entrees, we had to get the udon and shared the Niku Udon ($25) and Salmon Ikura Udon ($30). It was a nice combo between a hot and cold udon. The Niku was your classic udon bowl filled with plenty of beef and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The broth was sweet and savory for a warm and comforting meal. On the other hand, the salmon udon was quite unique with matcha udon and fresh salmon. There is a dashi to pour and mix into the noodles, which still gave it flavor and the slurp you want in a udon. Both were so great in its own way. Even their ramen also looked great, but I love all noodles. Definitely a great spot to dine near Barclays Center. Love to come back whenever I'm in the area again. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. Overall, the service and food quality were highly unsatisfactory. I would give them one star out of a hundred. Regarding the food, we ordered one appetizer and three dishes. While the appetizer was not entirely disappointing, the dishes were severely lacking in quality. Two pine apple fried rices and Pad see ew were ordered. The pine apple fried rice was not well-balanced, and the portion size was excessive without any discernible benefit. The Pad see ew was accompanied by an unpleasant odor emanating from the pork used in the dish, which caused us significant discomfort. As a result, we left most of the dishes and declined to take food boxes for leftovers. Despite these circumstances, we were not inquired about the quality of the dishes. The service was equally disappointing. While we understood that the restaurant should accommodate our entire family of four in one small table for multiple reservations, the servers failed to adequately manage our table. When serving our dishes, they placed them on a small table, without taking any care of limited space unfriendly. We had to make specific arrangements to ensure that our food was accommodated. Given these unfortunate experiences, I felt compelled to withhold a service tip. Surprisingly, our bill included a 20% service charge, which was not disclosed to us by our server during our initial order. When I expressed my deep disappointment, I received a response that lacked any genuine apology. There were several individuals in line when I left, and I almost expressed my concern that they were jeopardizing their last day of the year. I've passed by this place a few times before, thinking to myself how nice the place looked, but haven't gotten the chance until now . They have quite a large menu with a good variety of Thai dishes as well as interesting cocktails. Some dishes that we tried were the fried whole Snapper (fish) w/ the Choo chee curry, a seafood pineapple fried rice, Thai Country Style fried dumplings, and the Thai style steak salad. My favorite was the fried fish because it was so nicely presented, and the fish was nice and crispy (just like the ones I've had in Thailand). The fried dumplings were also very yummy . For dessert, we had their newly updated version of mango sticky rice as well as this new banana pudding dessert. Their mango sticky rice was amazing! It comes with housemade mango ice cream (with mango chunks in it) over mango chunks and then paired with fresh, sweet, sticky rice . Tbh, I think it was perfect. For the banana pudding, I'm not sure if it's limited-time or anything (I visited around Valentines day), but it had this fun, heart-shaped chocolate on top paired with a rock candy lollipop to break the heart shell . The food here is outstanding--my wife could honestly eat it twice a week if I let her. The yellow curry and green curry are both phenomenal. I usually get mine with chicken and shrimp, while she goes for chicken with extra vegetables, and both are always spot-on. The appetizers are just as impressive. The wings are generously portioned (don't skip them--fried is the way to go!) and the curry puffs are fantastic. For dessert, definitely try the sticky rice--it's delicious when made right and the perfect sweet finish. This is also a great date night spot. The interior is stylish and inviting, and the atmosphere makes it feel special. Just make sure to book a reservation since it tends to fill up quickly. As for drinks, I'd recommend sticking to a glass of wine. The cocktail specials, like the watermelon and pineapple served in whole fruit, look fun but aren't worth it--there's barely any alcohol in them. Their lunch specials are also worth noting. Portions are smaller than dinner, but for only $15, it's an excellent deal if you're on a budget or just out shopping in the area. I had an incredible dining experience that deserves all five stars! First off, the coconut mojito was a showstopper - served beautifully inside a real coconut, it was the perfect tropical refreshment. Light, minty, and perfectly balanced with coconut water and rum - I could have sipped on it all day. The Pad See Yew with chicken and beef was rich, savory, and full of that perfect wok-charred flavor. The noodles were tender, the vegetables crisp, and the proteins juicy and well-seasoned - truly comfort food at its finest. I also tried the chicken basil, and it did not disappoint. Fragrant Thai basil, just the right kick of spice, and incredibly flavorful chicken - every bite was a hit. For dessert, we indulged in mango sticky rice and fried bananas. The mango was ripe and sweet, paired beautifully with warm coconut sticky rice. The fried bananas were golden and crisp on the outside, soft and sweet inside - a satisfying end to an amazing meal. What we ordered: * Appetizers: The Lemongrass Grilled Wings were perfectly seasoned and tender, while the Crab Rangoon had the perfect crispy shell with a creamy, flavorful filling. * Main Dishes: The Tom Yum Creamy Lemongrass Thai Ramen was rich, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. love this spot!!! As you walk through the doors you enter a beautiful floral oasis with neon lighting and amazing murals The atmosphere is so inviting and the menu is amazing with a fantastic range of appetizers, salads, soups, bao, grill and curry dishes as well as fantastic drinks including fantastic cocktails We started with the watermelon margarita and the coconut mojito which were so refreshing and beautifully presented For appetizers we had the perfectly crispy pork belly bao and the delicious duck salad and for mains we had the Tom Yum Goong creamy with mushroom and jumbo shrimp and the BBQ beef short ribs with teriyaki sauce Everything was SO so delicious - such sophisticated, complex and authentic flavors with perfectly cooked meats and fresh vegetables And even though we were veritably full we couldn't resist dessert of their vanilla green tea fried cheesecake and chocolate lava cake Needless to say, it was phenomenal. I had an amazing time at Lemon Grass! I visited for the first time with my sister and we loved everything. To start off, the interior was really cute and cozy. We started with drinks - Morakot and Coconut Mojito. I have a big sweet tooth so I loved my Coconut Mojito. Morakot has a strong taste. We then had appetizers - Satay Chicken and Lemon Grass Chicken Wing. The satay sauce was amazing and chicken was really soft. For entrees, we got Rack of Lamb and Tom Yum Goong Creamy. The lamb was really tender. The tom yum soop was amazing!! I'm a big soup person and the taste was just right, a mix of sweet and sour. For dessert, we got the classic Mango Sticky Rice and it was so good. Mango was just right and the rice was just perfect. I usually don't get that for dessert but they made it so well. 10/10 service and ambiance - would definitely recommend! read more
