Appalling, Dreadful, Obnoxious, Offensive, HORRIBLE... This is the way I would begin to write my experience with thisLet's Move It Right moving company. To start off, after scheduling an appointment with them and agreeing on an estimate of what it would cost. My wife and I also verified their forms of payment accepted on the day of the move. All seemed to be great. The team of 3 guys in one truck showed up promptly and had us sign the work order to start, and confirming the 'estimated' cost of $1100.00. Work started about 8:30, and these guys were busting their ass, although difficult to understand them through their thick Russian accent, they started they day wonderfully. I needed to head into the office for some meetings while my wife and kids stayed overseeing the work being done. At around 4:00 pm, they were done packing up our townhome and told my wife they would be taking their lunch prior to making the long 1.5 mile drive to our new home. At this time they stated that they will need to be paid $1600, or they will not be unloading our belongings and will be forced to drive their truck to storage yard and charge us additional fees. My wife questioned the additional $500 they were asking for, as well as questioned them about charging us prior to the job being completed. The lead person there stated that it is their policy to be paid prior to unloading. This was never mentioned in any conversations prior to this point. My wife was freaking out as she had $1200 cash on her and said I will give you this, and can you just charge the additional on my Credit Card? This is the point everything went to hell! The worker called into the "owner" Anthony and told him the situation, in which Anthony took it upon himself to call my wife and berate her in the fact she did not have the money, even though it was more than quoted, he berated the fact that he shouldn't have to deal with a woman, and he was extremely belligerent, chauvinistic, rude, and foul-mouthed. I called him, and he never let me get a word in edge wise, making racist comments because my last name was mexican. However, once I identified myself as being in law enforcement, as well as made a call to my local police and had them dispatch a unit to our home, it was two-hours before they agreed to take the $1200 cash and get started unloading our items. Had I not identified myself as law enforcement, sent in the local police, and stand up for myself, this Anthony character would have held the contents of my home hostage. At the end of the day, it took these guys 16 hours to move me from a 1400 sq ft townhome, into a 2100 sq ft home 1.5 miles away, an ordeal where I felt my items were being held hostage and was almost strong armed to pay 50% more than quoted. I will never recommend these ignorant, thuggish, a-holes to anyone at all!!! read more

This was a TERRIBLE customer experience. I believe they outsource their cross-country, longer moves; however, I still hold them responsible for the end-to-end experience. The set up of the contract and the initial conversations were good; however, it quickly became terrible. I had my stuff picked up on a Monday and gave that upcoming Saturday as my first available move in date. I did not receive any contact from them after picking up my stuff for two weeks!!! I had to reach out several times, with NO RESPONSE via email multiple times. Finally I received notice that my stuff was on it's way from Los Angeles to Boston, and would arrive between the 19th-25th (which was over 3 weeks from the original pick up date). In the fine print of the contract it did say 7-14 business days from first available, and they ended up delivering on day 15. Overall there was a lack of communication and with the weather and the long haul transit there was no reassurance that my stuff was in route or the status update of where it was other than me proactively reaching out and having to bug them to death. THE WORST customer experience call I ever had was with their dispatcher. Her name is Lee and she first called me by accident AFTER my stuff had been picked up to let me know the movers were on their way to pick up my stuff. She was sloppy and did not know who she was talking to. After several weeks of no communication, she finally called me back to let me know my stuff was almost to Boston. On this call she proceeded to accuse me of lying, threatened to send me the recorded calls, AND TOLD ME I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG CONTRACT. I told her that was not my concern and that this was a terrible customer experience and she said, "I actually think this has been a great customer experience. And technically we are early." She was beyond rude and should be terminated immediately for providing this level of service. Lee then proceeded to email me the remaining balance due upon receipt and told me verbally one thing on the phone and sent another amount in email. I responded and corrected her and she wrote back, "oh ya. whoops." She was beyond sloppy and terrible at her job. I would NEVER go with this moving company again and think this level (lack there of) of service and communication in 2018 is completely unacceptable. read more

I was happy with the performance of let's Move It Right. First, to try and save some money on the move, knowing I had to drive to my new home 500 miles away anyway, and knowing the move would take (2) 26' trucks I wanted LMIR to load their truck, as well as one I would rent. They understood, and had no problem with this. In fact, it worked out well for them as a foreman drives their truck thus requiring only one foremen for them driving to the new home. Two of the things I needed to move were a couple of pieces of equipment which had some delicate pressure gauges on their sides. i had meant to tell them to be careful with these two items for that very reason knowing they could easily be damaged. When I went out to the garage to mention this they were already taking it upon themselves to fashion cardboard boxes over these locations and secure them with 24" wide plastic wrap around the entire machine to avoid damage. I noted this as a very good sign. I also wanted to drive my truck up on the second day of the move, and unload on the third day. As is typical for them I discovered, they wanted to, more or less, drive up overnight on day one and unload on day two. I said I just couldn't do that as I would be too tired to drive all night. Again, they understood, and offered no resistance to my idea and agreed to meet me at my new home on day three to unload both trucks. I arrived at my new home at the end of day two and they showed up bright and early on day three as agreed to. They then proceeded to unload both trucks placing everything exactly where I told them. Though it's a pain, I packed everything myself to be sure it was done to my satisfaction, so I can't speak to how LMIR would pack things. However, if how they handled those two pieces of equipment are any indication, they would likely have done a good job. Still, I would always pack my own things regardless of what mover I used. All in all, friendly, well performed service at what I think was a reasonable price. read more

I checked several places, and there was a place with promotions that would be $10 less per hr, but when I read the posting/recommendations from customers, I felt it was not worth it risking my stuff with them. When I talked to David from Let's Move it Right, I liked the way David explained everything with no pressure, just facts, and I also read the postings on site. Yelp was a big help too! you need to try it! My move was arranged for 9AM, and the movers arrived at 8:30 AM so I had to skip breakfast and get going. The day before I had help moving a lot of boxes so the professional movers started right away on the heavy stuff. They seemed very knowledgeable about what to move first and how to handle the furniture. They wanted to move my very heavy dresser with the full drawers inside, and I let them tried until I felt that my furniture was going to get hurt. I insisted to get the drawers out.... If you know what is best for your furniture, you have to tell them what you want and what you don't want. You are the boss, and they will do things your way. However if you don't know.. let them do it their way. Having done my previous move with friends and relatives, it was so nice to let the movers do their job; I recommend to get professional movers to do the job right, no hazzles, no hurting family and friends, and we all need to make a leaving. I have a lot of respect for this team after the way I saw them work. Advise: get some friends and family to move boxes the day before the move, leave 20 or so empty boxes at hand to move last minute stuff, and if the clock keeps ticking it is your pocket the one is draining, have things ready for them. I have used Let's Move It in the past and they have been amazing. Tom is always honest and upfront about what the move entails and how best to handle it. He bases his bid on what he thinks would be best for you, the customer. In my case, a long day of moving and missing a good-paying gig in the afternoon was not the best for me, so he explained that 4 guys would be best. Fast in. Fast out. Yes, the rate per hour placed my bid at a higher legal not-to-exceed than I would have liked, but in the end, they didn't even come close to exceeding it. They were WAY under. And this is with me throwing in a lot more boxes than first quoted. And the wardrobe boxes and the tape and the wrapping of art pieces. THEY WERE AMAZING. They lugged things up a narrow flight of stairs at the end without one complaint. There was a comment from the crew boss - an OY! - but I laughed and he laughed back. These guys were literally dripping sweat at the end of the move. They assembled my bed - put things where I wanted them and were generally the best move crew I could have hoped for. I have really nice things and the guys handled them professionally and quickly. Not a single dented or broken thing. I settled up and apologized that I did not have more to tip them with and David the crew boss waved me away saying that what I gave was plenty. I have moved 3 times in 3 years. From a 4400 sq ft home to a 2900 sq ft home to a 2800 sq ft home and now to a 2400 sq ft home... I have a lot of stuff... Both of the first two moves were disasters, even with 8 movers on the last move they took two days and multiple trips. So this time I had David from Let's Move It come out and quote the move, I didn't want any surprises. So imagine my horror when only 4 guys and 1 truck showed up to move me out! I was very skeptical based on my previous move 14 mos. earlier. These 4 guys moved the exact same stuff in about 6 hours that it took 8 guys two days and two trucks to move a little over a year ago. With a 2 week lag between moving out and having my new place ready they stored my stuff in their warehouse. When they delivered to my new house, again it was just 4 guys who started at 9am and unloaded the last item before 3pm. They reassembled a desk, three beds (1 from IKEA yikes), a massive 4 piece wall unit and a bunch of bookcases. I don't know if is that these guys were really great or the other 2 movers were really bad... either way you can't go wrong with Let's Move It. Just make sure you get an on-site quote and a firm price (with any mover you use). They did break one picture, ( just the glass) and put a scratch on a dresser that should come out with a little work. Not perfect, but for the price, I could not be happier. read more

I used their service twice and both times I got an excellent service of professionals, so I wanted to give 10 stars, but yelp limited me to 5. The first time I called on the last minute, only two days before moving, after I had problems with another company, and the moment I spoke with David, the CEO, I knew I was in good hands. David arrived for a home inspection, before giving me the estimation in order to give me the right estimation and that everything will go smooth and clear. The team arrived on time both times, all three team members very nice, polite, effective, worked quiet, clean and fast. I must also mention Liko the driver who was very organized and professional. The movers Max and Markitos worked very hard and fast while being sensitive not to damage anything. By the way, I almost forgot one of the most important things. You probably think it was very expensive so NO!!! Even their prices are good and fair. LET'S MOVE IT RIGHT! Be Aware, This is a company that is FRAUD and I have proof. First off I don't do bad reviews for companies but I feel people need to be aware. I was moving my mother and I back to TX and put in a request with 123Movers.com for quotes. I got a call from a lady that starts with the letter N (I know I cant use names in order to get this review to stay on the page.) She called me a few times through out the months from different companies going by different names. The time is you can change your name but your accent and the way you sound is the same...I am not an idiot. I started doing research, Looking at DOT and MC and most of these companies are fake. The next time she called me from a different company I asked her about this information I have come across. SHE went bat sh*t crazy, telling me I am a nasty person and she will not help me move. Cindi, the representative I booked my move with, gave me a binding quote based on an itemized list I provided her. When the movers, who showed up 4 hours late at 9 PM, arrived they immediately began to tell me the binding quote I had been given was something they would not honor. Despite the fact that I had less items than I had included on my itemized list to Cindi, the movers tried to tell me my cost would be more than double what I was originally told. After arguing for over 30 minutes and finally giving in because I had no option since I had less than 24 hours to be out of my home, I figured I'd call Cindi to have everything fixed. Cindi never returned my phone call or multiple emails. I was stuck paying a lot more than my original "binding quote." To top things off, all my dishes were broken when they were delivered. DO NOT TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY. Literally nothing Cindi told me was correct: pricing was wrong, my furniture wasn't reassembled for me, movers were extremely late and unprofessional, and even the forms of payment Cindi tilde were acceptable were incorrect. read more

Julian, Tony, and Adolfo arrived at my house at 8:am (The scheduler had stayed in touch with my wife by telephone for several days to give us the day we wanted to move because it had been raining). When the truck arrived, the three men went right to work. They moved fast and steady for about ten hours with only a short lunch break. They used blankets, stretch wrap and tape very efficiently and protected glass with cardboard They knew exactly how to pack that truck and used every square inch of space in the 26 foot truck. My stuff was not damaged at all. they wrapped and packed and moved very professionally. When they were finished they took all the trash with them. I will use them again when I move my stuff out of storage.I paid a lot but I have never used movers so I could not say they were more expensive than another mover might be. Let me start off by saying that when I had to move, it had to be done in a hurry, as it was a short order notice from work and it had to be done in a VERY fast and timely manner. I was pretty sure I was screwed because the last time I had to move, the company I hired arrived 2 hours late and sent two of the weakest people who couldn't lift nearly any of my heavy objects. So I definitely didn't want to hire them again, saw these guys and figured, "why not?", I might as well give these guys a shot, people seem to like them and have been satisfied with the results so far. I started out with a phone call to have some of my questions answered and to find out exactly when they could be here and I was shocked to hear how short notice they could be here. They arrived on time just as David told me on the phone and all my stuff was moved perfectly! Our family of just used "Let's Move it Right" this past weekend after a friend told me about them. I was amazed at how well the move went. My wife fired the last movers we had. She was very happy this time. They men on time and very kind and caring. Martin, Julian and Jose were just awesome! I have some really special furniture and they carefully wrapped each item. Our furniture made it to our new home without a scratch. The guys even allowed me to place felts on the bottom of each and every piece to protect our new wood floors. This small step cost the movers some time and patience. The were just great about it and also helped us take special care. I would highly advise you to give them a call and get a quote. We paid $90/hr for the truck and 3 guys. Yes, I could have found cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Our crew was on-time, fast, courteous and very professional. I did a lot of research to find a moving company. I choose Let's Move It Right because of their standing with the BBB. It was the best moving decision I ever could have made. David and Tom set up everything well ahead of time over the phone. The 4 men and 2 trucks arrived right on time and ready to go to work. Julian, Jesus, Martin and Pancho were clean and polite. I gave them instructions one time and they got the job done! The job was big. They worked so hard but were always smiling and extremely helpful. The road to our new home is somewhat narrow and is in the mountains. The guys handled the large trucks like the pros that they are and set up all our appliances and treated all our belongings as if they were there own. Our move was a great event. Don and Davis did everything they had signed off on and the staff was moving smart and strong. We have been in the furniture business for over 35 years and have never had a move go more fluid. Truck on time and as well, a first quality truck, best packers ever, nothing damaged. We did a 53 footer in four hours. The best thing was the additional consideration we received from Don and David. Our home did not close on time and due to the full-moving services we were rented a space in the 'Lets Move It-Right' bonded warehouse which saved us from moving more than once. Thanks to Lets Move It- Right we were able to be in our new home for Christmas. An extremely unique set of circumstances found my ex-husband in CA being released from the hospital, unable to return to his home due to a flood and resulting damage. An opening at a local Senior Community became available immediately, and this company handled the pick up of my ex-husband's furniture and belongings on little more than a moment's notice, and delivered everything to the Senior Community apartment professionally, on time and well within the agreed upon budget. Considering the 11th hour request, the distance between me and the job-at-hand, I think the company did a wonderful job, supported by the people helping me on the California end. I called at least 10 movers and got all kinds of rates but these guys were very knowledgable and professional on the phone so I decided to give them a try (plus they have an "A" rating with the better business bureau) The movers showed up on time, went straight to work ( very little talking, they all knew exactly what to do), and immed. eased my mind. It was a long day ( we have a large home) but the men were great. No protracted breaks, 1/2 hour lunch ( off the clock), and it was just a pleasant experience. This is the best moving company by far that you will find. We have moved 3 times (1 cross country) in the last 3 years and now we moved internationally. Let's Move It Right have been sooo professional, honest, supportive, and outright superior to any company we have used before. I work in the moving business (sales person) and to be 100% honest even my company doesn't provide as good service as David and the crew. David met us 2 weeks prior to the move and calmed us with his easy going attitude. He constantly checked with us prior to the move and even called after we settled in our new home to make sure everything went well. I called Let's Move it at the last minute 3 days before my move and they came early on Sunday morning at 9 am. I was moving locally from the harbor area to the South bay, both places having limited street parking, tight corners and stairs. Cesar and Carlos finished moving my 2 bedroom apartment in under 3 hours, including drive time. They moved quickly, they worked hard and they figured out how to move the big pieces of furniture through the tight corners without damaging anything. I'm definitely calling them if I need to move again. They didn't complain, take long breaks or chit chat, they worked non stop and I had the whole Sunday afternoon left to unpack and enjoy my new place. read more

We strongly recommend this company. They were really affordable and we received great service. The three movers were on time, professional, efficient, and helpful. They packed what we hadn't had a chance to pack yet. They worked a very long day and couldn't have been nicer even when we asked for them to move some furniture around from where we first wanted it. We had a pod delivered at the same time the moving truck arrived and they also helped unload it for us. The final price was beyond reasonable for what we experienced. The customer service was great. We hope to never move again, but if we did, I would hire Let's Move It Right again. Can't say enough good things! read more
