Read reviews about this place being rude and unclean so i ordered food from their #3 location by ABC supermarket but they called me back saying they had no meat and asked if I'm down for vegan meat lol. I said I'm cool I'll go order from LH1. I got a small tray of egg noods combo meat, a small tray of glass noods, rocket shrimps and bò nớng lá lốt. The lady Trúc, one with Huế accent had exceptional customer service. She answered all my questions with a smile. Egg noodle was 9/10 best I've had from food to go places. Glass noodle was above average 7/10 bland and forgettable flavor but fresh ingredients and plently of meat. Bò nớng lá lốt (beef wrapped in betel leaf) was disappointing 2/10. They have 8 rolls on skewer so when you eat you separate the rolls and only 2 sides are somewhat grilled. The inside seems undercooked. Rocket shrimp was 9/10 best I've had as well. I came in to pick up be thui but i saw this lady preparing eggrolls or adjusting the eggrolls with her bare hands, no gloves on. I find this very disgusting, it literally grossed me out, esp when we still having covid19. I just wanted to kindly remind our kitchens to always remember to use good sanitations when preparing food. Gloves, mask, and whatever else needed to be before you cook or bake, etc. Just think if you don't want things like this done to your family, then don't do it. I really like Lien Hue's Banh Canh Tom Cua (seafood udon noodles). A large bowl for around 7.50$ can feed 2 adults or 1 adult and two kids! Their broth is flavorful and their noodles are def home made - thick and delicious. You can also get banh uot, bun bo hue, nem, and cha there as well among other items. Good variety, decent prices. The only downside to this place is the restaurant is small and a little on the dingy side. This is def not a place to take your date, etc. read more

Walking in, they do have a couple small tables if you want to eat in there, but my parents just send me here to pick up party trays for them. We've ordered egg rolls, grilled pork, and "rocket shrimp" aka "tom hoa tien" (70 Pieces for $63). I don't remember how much the egg rolls and grilled pork were. My extended family seems to like the food here and since my parents keep coming back to order food here then it's good in my book! The rocket shrimp is definitely my favorite here. It's is shrimp wrapped inside of the egg roll stuffings, breaded, and then deep fried! Service has always been quick. Has great Mi Quang that we love ordering for the family, however they can improve on the cleanliness of the store.

As you can see, I love this place for I am the duchess at the moment. It's a tiny hole in the wall, ideally for catered takeout food. They also have a few tables if you decide to dine in. I usually order the bun bo hue, banh canh or mi quang here and I must say, "All of these dishes are delicious and packed with flavor." The catered takeout tray items are decent and perfect for any party. Make sure you call and order in advance. You can also bring your own large pot if you decide to cater bun bo hue. Score! Came here with a friend yesterday to try what he called as the best bun bo hue in town. I must admit the the taste, consistency of the broth and ingredients were all there. Frankly I think anyone would say it's very good. But for mr personally I felt like it was still missing something. Like real hue people have mam ruoc inside the broth. Buti ts a very aquired taste and too hardcore hue for most people. They probably had it on the side if I asked but I completely forgot about it. I was too focused on tasting what it was that presented. So I do recommend this place only for the food. It didn't come out steaming hot as I would've liked but it is good for what it is and I think most people will like it. Also I had some cha that was rolled in banana leaf and steamed. I recommend that as am appetizer or fun dish. Finally just know that this place is tiny. There are probably 5 or 6 tables because it is more of a to go kind of place. My friend and I went here for lunch. It didnt look very "neat and tidy". We ordered vermicelli, noodles and banh nam. The server mistook our order and got us the wrong cakes. Also, we asked for 2 extra bowls which were never brought to us. The cakes were brought out, there were 4 of them. The server said "This is what we have left". The menu said they were charged $3.5. But when it came to billing, we had to pay that full price and the server explained that "it is only a small size. 7 cakes is the normal size". Sadly I have to give this place one star. I just tried this place out for the first time today. Although the broth for their bun bo hue was delicious, halfway through my bowl I discovered a big dead fly in my soup. I have dealt with hairs and such things just fine, I understand these kind of things just happen, but the sight if this left me disgusted and I spat out any food that was in my mouth. I'm not one to complain but my friend brought it up to the lady who was working and she apologized and didn't charge us for the bowl. Aside from this, the meat pieces seemed over cooked and much too chewy. I had to ask for a pair of scissors to cut up the big pieces of meat. I was a little reluctant to eat at a restaurant that specialized in food catering, but I am glad that I did. The restaurant is tiny with about 7 tables and only accepts cash. My family has catered food from here before, and everything I had was delicious. My favorite dish here is the tom hoa tien, which is a big egg roll with a shrimp in the middle. These are $0.90/each and you have to order a minimum of 10. The banh bot loc la is a clear dumpling with pork and shrimp inside wrapped inside a banana leaf. This is also really good, and I think it is a little under $0.50/each. I also enjoyed the banh beo. When I ate at the restaurant, we ordered the bun bo hue and the mi quang. The bun bo hue was a little sweet for my taste, but my sister and aunt really liked it. My favorite, by far, was the mi quang. They are generous with the meat, and the noodles and broth are so delicious (I just wish it came with more broth, but traditional mi quang is served with very little broth). This dish has turmeric noodles and has pork and shrimp. There are also peanuts in there, which I could have done without. The mi quang was $6 for a small bowl, and $7 for a large bowl. The small bowl was the perfect size for me. The waitress was very nice. This is by no means a fancy restaurant but is perfect for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. read more
