Great owner. Awesome pancakes. OK sandwiches. I woke up in the morning on a vacation in Pigeon Forge craving pancakes. I saw this restaurant on Yelp and decided to try it out. The owner meets you with a smile. He seems like a genuinely good guy who loves running his own restaurant. You can't help being happy to be there. He's darn near a one man show. He'll take your order and go back and cook it. As I said above, I was craving pancakes. But I asked the owner what the best choice on the entire menu was, and he didn't flinch. He said the Reuben so I went with it. The wife ordered the Philly and my daughter went with the pancakes. It ended up being a mistake on my part...not a huge mistake, but one I regretted. The pancakes are some of the best anywhere. Light. Fluffy. Tasty. I kept eating my daughter's pancakes. My Reuben and the wife's Philly? Just so-so. They weren't terrible but they weren't great, either. And for what you pay (I think the Reuben was $8, but it doesn't come with any side), it needs to be. I highly recommend for the pancakes and for a super enthusiastic owner. You won't get better for either anywhere else. But there are other sandwich places nearby that give you better sandwiches at more competitive prices. read more

Talk about a hole in the wall. This place was one of my favorite breakfast spots while staying at Dollywoods Resort. We found it online and after driving around for a minute located the restaurant. This is a TINY place. Very limited seating. We went between breakfast and lunch, maybe round 1030 or so. Place was full. All the tables (I think there is only maybe 5 or six tables in the entire place) where occupied. Waitress was very friendly and said it should only be a few minutes for a table to open up. We only waited 10-15 minutes and was lucky to get a seat. Only one waitress and the owner (who is also the cook and chief bottle washer), so the service was at times slow. It was well worth it. The food was amazing. There are several items on the menu. The pancakes are out of this world. I grow up eating homemade pancakes with peanut butter and jelly. Sure enough, they made my pancakes to order. The owner even came and said "I've never had anyone ask for peanut butter and jelly on their pancakes", but he made them and they where to die for. This was by fair the best priced and best tasting food we had all week. I love these little "hole in the way" joints. I never post negative reviews but we just showed up at 8:30 on a Tuesday for breakfast. There were 6 of us and we were turned away as they said they couldn't accommodate us. The restaurant was pretty empty. I understand they must be short staffed but you shouldn't open if you can't serve a family of 6 breakfast. This cafe is very welcoming and comfortable. Very family oriented. Coloring for kids and free wifi. A lot of "praise the lord" decor in a traditional southern fashion. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. When we went the waiter was also our cook. The HUSTLE is amazing. 10/10 would recommend! (Even tho my family isnt too religious). Food was amazing. It's hard to find good breakfast here in pigeon forge area since everything is so touristy but this place is legit.
