This place is MIND BLOWINGLY good! It's hidden in a little corner of Wynwood. We went through a little door covered in greenery that led to a patio which then led to a door to the restaurant. If it wasn't for my GPS, I would have missed it. Vibes were immaculate! Soo nice. Lots of people were having date night or girls night out. The bar is gorgeous and the manager is a kind gentlemen who genuinely cares for his customers. I took my mom for dinner and we had a fantastic time. We started off with the fatoush salad, I 10/10 recommend this. It was SO good. And then we tried this red roasted pepper dip with pita and it was mindblowingly amazing. I had never tasted a dip like that before. We also tried the chicken and then also the kefta platter. I would say the chicken was better than the Kefta kabab. The chicken was juicy, tender, and very well flavored. This place is a little higher in price than other Mediterranean restaurants, but in my opinion it is worth every penny. Stopped by for dinner at 5p sharp on a Thursday evening prior to my flight. The door was still closed, but the Mgr opened up just for me. I started with the beet hummus, which was creamy and had tiny beet pieces with delicious olive oil. The hummus was served with the most pillowy and warm pita bread. For the main, I ordered the meat eggplant fetteh with a side of fries and sauces. The fetteh was absolutely divine, and I nearly ate every morsel. The sauces are a tad pricey at $5 each and a bit too large, so most of it went to waste. IMO, it would go over well if offered as a smaller-sized duo. Lastly, I ended with dessert to go (kunefe). This, unfortunately, was the most underwhelming part of the meal, and I wish I had skipped it. It tasted nothing like the kunefe I had all over Turkey as it was dense and had a bottom layer of what tasted like mozzarella cheese and was just not sweet. I would have been thrilled if they offered shaabiyat. Overall, I would definitely recommend it as the meal was nearly flawless, and the service was friendly/attentive but not intrusive. I've been searching for Lebanese food for a while in Miami, and I stumbled upon this treasure in Wynwood. This restaurant is obscurely tucked away surrounded by foliage. As you walk in, there is twinkling lights surrounding the foliage with Arabic music playing. This place would be excellent for hosting an event like a baby shower, engagement party or a birthday party due to the set up. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and the grilled branzino. Fattoush salad- 5/5, my favorite thing from the evening. The pomegranate sauce adds the perfect sweetness to the salad. Tabbouleh- 5/5, tasty, superb Beetroot hummus- 5/5, such a unique twist to hummus that has the be tried Eggplant fatteh- 5/5, I took a gamble on this one but WOW it was fantastic. Think of Mexican nachos, Lebanese style. Branzino- 3/5, I thought this would surpass my expectations but there were still fine bones present in the branzino which was disappointing. I felt it was lacking in flavor, but it was still good. For dessert, we ordered the kennafeh- 4/5. It was amazing! However, very small portion size as pictured. The patio was gorgeous and a wonderful way to enjoy the great weather on an early December night. This place is a gem!!! I was visiting my family and they wanted to go to a Lebanese place so we were in Miami area and decided on this place. It's right at the beginning of Wynwood so very easy to find. Parking happened to be convenient for us this day too which was a plus. We parked at the side street on the first left of the road and walked right in. Outdoor seating was available, however if you are looking for an indoor table, it might be best to make a reservation because seating area looks smaller than their patio. We ordered a little bit of everything and decided to share plates so we had the kebabs, kafta, hummus, pita bread, yogurt dip, fettah, pickles, olives, two orders of Lebanese rice...it was all sooooo good!!! And to top it off, we got vegan ice cream desserts to share and the cheese dessert as well. It was a perfect family evening out and I would definitely come here again with my family, friends. Love at first bite! Lebanese food at its best. Lira's menu is authentic, fresh, and absolutely decadent. Beautiful setting that feels exotic but also intimate. Outstanding service. We were greeted and served by the owner himself, he had amazing recommendations, friendly humor and his banter and service truly made our dining experience so special. We ordered a lot and of different items from the menu and each one was more delicious than the next, but my absolute favorite were the lamb chops. They carry beer and wine, no liquor, but great selection of wines. This restaurant is perfect for any occasion. I would put Lira on the top of the list for Miami's best restaurants. We have been to Lira a few times and always had a wonderful meal... it Lebanese food at its best. Some items have a local Lebanese 'twist' that just enhances the already flavorful dishes. Now that they deliver, we are very happy! The food arrived fast than we thought, still warm and wrapped in high end packaging which assured its freshness and appetizing looks. I wanted to wait a while before leaving this review because the gentleman greeting customers was really nice but I'm sorry I have to be really honest here. I was very excited and hopeful but left disappointed and never went back. This experience was 3 months ago. It was a one and done for us. Let me start by saying they have cats roaming around your feet and jumping either on the long bench along the wall or the seats. Not sure if these cats are used to keep rodents away but not okay to have them out while trying to have an intimate dinner. Also, not sure how that's okay while you're trying to eat. Next, our waitress kept picking up the cats, petting the cat and putting it against her clothing covering herself with cat hair then serving us. How is that sanitary and code?! I love the combination of Arabic food in brunch and the tapas they provided. Everything there was very delicious so it's very hard to pinpoint which was the best. I am part Lebanese so this restaurant takes me back to the homemade Lebanese food my grandma always made and it makes me so happy. Everything we ate here was out of this world incredible. Came here with a group of 6 for a girls night dinner, and we ordered as much of the menu as we could fit in us (since we wanted to try everything) everything we had was perfectly cooked and fresh. The fried halloumi cheese was everything (we ordered two) and the beef kebab was so perfectly tender. We also loved the octopus that was also perfectly cooked. We got a few of the dips, the grilled watermelon halloumi salad, beef tartare, and ground lamb beef kebab. Watermelon halloumi was our favorite. Tartare is essentially the ground lamb beef kebab uncooked, well seasoned. The waiters were very nice but you could tell they were understaffed that night. People next to us had to ask to order after 30 minutes of waiting. We and a few others were waiting to get our checks. I believe the owner was sitting at the bar on his computer but let the wait staff handle everyone on their own. Great food but just need to work on staffing or logistics of service. read more

Next we got a mix plate of chicken and beef shawarma with a side of fries and Lebanese pickles. It was a ton of food. Both the beef and chicken were loaded with flavor. The dips/sauces (tahini and garlic sauce) on the side were divine. This is a small place but also has nice decor and a nice outdoor patio area. They do not serve liquor but they do have a good selection of beers and wines. The service was great and our server was very friendly. He helped out by making recommendations.
