Ahi Tuna bowl with house sauce

Everyone behind the counter was friendly and smiling. Nice first impression. I really wanted to love this, but I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the Ahi Tuna bowl with extra tuna, 1/2 brown rice, 1/2 Chow Mein noodles, house sauce (chili oil, mayo, and ponzu) and soy sauce for my other choice. I also added mango, cilantro, and cucumbers. I did not taste chili oil, ponzu, or soy sauce. It just tasted like slightly sweet mayo to me. I expected the ponzu to add a slightly citrusy flavor and soy sauce to add saltiness and umami. There was none of that. The tuna was fresh, but it didn't seem like there was an extra scoop like I ordered. Very skimpy on the protein. Everything was just diced too small. The worst part was the undercooked Chow Mein noodles. They tasted and felt like they were dumped in water for only a minute. There was no bouncy, springy chewiness, just sad, undercooked dough. The mango pieces were so small and overpowered by the sauce. Wonton crumbles added a nice crunch and flavor. Overall, it was a 6.7/10. After I topped it with Crunchy Garlic in Chili Oil (S&B Umami Topping from an Asian grocery store), it went up slightly to a 6.9/10. My son liked his terriyaki chicken bowl with white rice, greens, avocado, and cilantro. He gave his bowl an 8/10. I'm not sure if I'll try again and order differently. I have a 10% discount for my next order. You can get the discount if you check in on the app.

Wasabi aioli and the Loco sauce are a must for anyone who likes some heat!

This is easily one of the best poke spots I've been to. The fish was super fresh, the portions were great, and everything tasted so clean and flavorful. Their sauces were delicious and really brought everything together. I also loved that they have a menu of house creations -- everything sounded so creative and unique, I'll definitely be back to try more. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. You can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. Highly recommend if you're craving fresh, quality poke

Fresh poke and I enjoy the variety of items to add to your bowl. Choose 3 proteins, I chose Ahi, salmon and spicy tuna. Brown or white rice for the base and I added greens. Lots of other items and topped off with cashews. Yummy!! Lots of room to sit and not crowded on a Monday. I'll be back!

The food is delicious and the portions are filling. This is mostly a review for the wonderful staff as well, since they were incredibly helpful with all of their combo recommendations. There's also plenty of indoor seating and some cute outdoor tables too.

    Ahi tuna, salmon, and octopus.
    John N.

A great healthy choice in the area if you like raw seafood. My bowl consisted of ahi tuna, salmon, and octopus. The tuna and salmon were good although the octopus was more chewy and seemed a little dated than what I'm used to. There's a lot of dining space so I decided to eat in. The staff is really nice. I'd come back.

    Poke Bowl w/Salmon and Tuna

Loco Poke came to the University of the Pacific to cater for us. I can attest that this is the best poke in the area, and it's worth the drive if you're coming from Stockton. I got a bowl with salmon and tuna, with their loco sauce, house sauce, and sriracha aioli. Everything was fresh and delicious, and they brought a lot of options for customization. Thank you Loco Poke! I'll stop by to visit the store when I get the chance :)

Service was great. Super friendly. The food was good as expected I think it was just too much for me, I couldn't eat it all. I had a mix of rice and mixed greens for my base. My proteins were salmon, shrimp and spicy tuna. It was very fresh. Definitely coming back when I can.

Food is ok but most importantly, they are cheap on how much protein they give you. Serving of fish is a size of a teaspoonful.

We can usually depend on it being busy as they offer a small dining area with limited tables outside, so when we do walk in we do so prepared. They do have a reservation system but to my knowledge we have not used it. We just walk up and greet the staff person at the door to check in, and they tell us what the wait is like. If it's over a half hour we usually kill time in Raley's. It's usually not longer than a 20 minute wait. If you are a large party, things might get cramped, but I've seen them pull it off with gusto. We've never had a party larger than four and it's been great. I really like the folks who work here. And the food is great too. They have a few tvs and a little sushi bar at the back, and the noise level is about average depending on how many children are dining with their families. Komachi has a dedicated vegetarian menu and I've tried most of the things on it. I love that they have marinated shiitake rolls, my fave of the standard veggie sushi innards. Yummy! My favorite rolls on the menu are the Garden Roll (steamed asparagus, avocado, cucumber, kanpyo, and shiitake), Shittake Maki, and the Rich Jumbo Roll (fried asparagus, fried onion, avocado, cream cheese, and cucumber). Appetizers I have tried and enjoyed very much include the Agedashi tofu, fried brussels sprouts (I have to remember to have the fish flake removed from this dish though), and of course, wakame (seaweed salad). They do have ramen, donburi, bento boxes, teppanyaki (the tofu one I look forward to trying soon!) and salads as well if you're not in the sushi mood. I like their seasonal drink menu, featuring wine, soju, and beer. Komachi is also reasonably priced. Yeah, pretty much everything I'm looking for when me and my boo are craving sushi. Vegan Corner: several items can be made vegan upon request, but there is not a dedicated menu. Bathroom Report: noisy pipes will not hurt you, at least it's smelling fresh right?

Last Wednesday, our server said something really rude and I don't even think he realized it but it was jarring enough to lower my rating for this visit. I'm sure next time will be back to normal as long as that young kid gets some training on hospitality. The food was fantastic as always. Saying to a customer who asks about an item that passed by their table- "you can't order that it's only for regulars or people who've been coming here a while" is not welcoming or polite and I'm shocked to be saying this about one of my favorite restaurants in town.

Ironically, we had just been talking about how great it would be if they offered a brunch menu, so it felt like perfect timing! We decided to give it a try and were seated right away. We couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up getting three dishes for the two of us--the fajita omelet, the Denver omelet, and the biscuits and gravy. We also ordered a spicy Bloody Mary, which was delicious. The standout? The biscuits and gravy. The first bite had my husband blurting out, "Oh f***... this is good!" Honestly, that pretty much summed it up. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a great brunch spot in Lodi, this is definitely worth checking out. We were seated quickly and served waters right away. My husband ordered the fish and chips, while I went with the jalapeño chicken sandwich. The sandwich came with a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, crispy fried onions, and jalapeño dressing on grilled ciabatta bread. I also upgraded my fries to their Bleu fries (topped with bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing). The fries were definitely a highlight--served hot, crispy, and perfectly paired with the bleu cheese. My husband was really impressed with the fish and chips, which he hadn't tried here before. The fish was beer-battered and fried, served with fries and coleslaw. He especially liked the coleslaw, noting that it tasted fresh with great flavor and wasn't overly coated in mayo. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the experience. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

We were the only customers and got there around 6:30. My only critique is that there were a lot of employees and we were the only patrons, yet our two servers did seem distracted and forgot a couple of things throughout the meal. I'm giving grace for that because it was a very slow night and they were probably just chit chatting in the back. I would've had no issue giving this 5 stars if it wasn't for that one small thing. Service otherwise was very friendly and quick The food was fantastic! As a Japanese American who's been eating sushi since I was in the womb, I have to disagree with the yelper who recently said the rolls are too small and too expensive. The rolls we ordered were huge and the fish was very fresh and on par with M sushi and Komachi. Is it a luxurious loungy city style vibe? No. But the food is great and the prices are fair imo for the extremely fresh and delicious fish. We ordered two bowls of miso, salmon tataki roll (I only wished for more onions!), the spicy crunchy scallop roll (my new favorite roll in Lodi), snow crab CA roll, and I think the last one was a dragon roll with unagi.
