This is my first time here. The staff was really amazing - I hobbled in with my crutches and they made sure I was comfortable. My girls were raving about them - one of them actually felt relaxed while having her nails done (she usually doesn't like the way some salons have done her nails), the prices are very reasonable ("usually you have to spend $100+ in LA for service like this!"), the ambience was relaxing and the spa was very clean. I really wanted to come in this Friday September 29th and I was excited that I THOUGHT I found a salon in Walnut Creek so I booked an appointment for a pedicure and acrylic set total of 150. I wanted to call as soon as I realized my mistake but I made the appointment online late in the evening on September 28th, so I had to wait until the next day. I called as soon as they opened to explain the situation that I realized they were located in San Jose and that it was too far a drive for me to go. They told me they still had to charge me half of the services!! I found this really ridiculous, why charge me if you didn't use ANY product on me!?? I really wanted to come to this salon in the future but after seeing how stingy and selfish they are, I changed my mind. Leyen is an artist and above all, professional. She has spent many years perfecting her technique. Leyen is welcoming, warm and did everything she could to make my experience a positive one. When I came to her, my eyebrows were thinning and sparse. Leyen took her time to study my features and "mapped" out my brows to what she said would give me fuller brows, but still look natural. The ambience is relaxing and the technicians, especially Holly (Spa Manager) and Tammy (Nail Texhnician), are both kind and professional. They make every client feel like a treasured friend, and are meticulously attentive to details. I'd come every week if I could afford it. As it is, it's my valued monthly self care treat. ------- This was SUCH a happy find. First, the customer service is great. The owner replies quickly to internet inquiries, and upon arrival he has all the details about your scheduled service. I booked two regular pedicures. I arrived on time and the were ready for us to choose our colors and start our pedicures. The salon is tastefully decorated and scented nicely with tea tree oil (perhaps with a bit of lemon grass added), and it is kept very clean (including their restroom). The salon is quiet and the ambience is very rCustomers are offered green tea, water, or hot chocolate with whipped cream. The pedicures we received were good--nice water temperature, technicians attentive to details, and the regular pedicure included massage and hot stone massage. The polish was applied well. They carry a large selection of organic nail polish options, as well as conventional polish and gel polish. I referred a friend here last week, and both her daughter and she had a similarly nice experience. The charges are typical for the area. They offer discounts for cash and for a first time Yelp! check-in. There's also a reward program and a free touch up/repair option for chips or polish problems in the first week after the service. I called the night before right before they closed and got an appointment for an express gel manicure at 9:45am. I arrived a few minutes early and was offered a beverage. The shop is in a small plaza with private parking. The spa itself is neat, clean and very nicely decorated. Toby did my nails and he did a fantastic job! I was happy with the outcome because I can be very picky about my nails. He had me look at my nails while I was getting my nails done to be sure I liked them. Afterwards, he checked one last time to be sure they were perfect before I headed out. Definitely recommend Toby! Checking out was a breeze. Pricing was very reasonable. They let me know they have an app you can book your appointment through which makes the process easier. If I'm ever in town and need a manicure I will definitely be back. I usually leave only good reviews but I was not too happy with this experience. Booked an appointment but had to wait almost an hour. The nail technician told me to wait a few more minutes couple times but I had to change my plans because of the delay. Although I appreciate the staff keeping me accompanied with drinks and an extra mask, I was not satisfied with the delay. I left in a rush and realized I paid more than I had to. I was told it was an express gel pedicure but I was charged more. I am not sure if I was rightly charged for the add ons either. Went in for my very first professional microcurrent facial with Leyen and OMG this is the holy grail of all beauty treatments. Is it possible to see results right after a 90 minute facial... YES! My cheekbones were defined, skin was tightened/lifted/brightened and I walked away dewy AF. And as if that wasn't enough.... I felt like I was literally in heaven laying on that bed as Leyen massaged and beat all the toxins and nastiness from my face, neck and arms. I had a pedicure that was mostly very nice - the salon is very cute and has a great location off De Anza Blvd. it was very relaxing and quiet until another patron showed up who was chatting very loudly with their nail artist. I kind of wish somebody had told her to pipe down. This was priced as a luxury experience and the noise definitely detracted from that. So why 4 stars? My biggest challenge was that the technician spent soooo long with the cuticle trimmers, I would call it fairly extreme how much time she spent and how much she trimmed unnecessarily. It got painful. The result looks great and seems like it's holding up so far, but I don't think I'll be going back. One more note for management: the massage chair was broken and loud too. read more

I came here with my sisters for manicure and pedicure on a weekday night and had a pretty good experience. I dont usually get my nails done so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staffs were nice and kindly explained all the different types of services they offer. The staff also kindly informed us that they do special offers on a pretty regular basis, and recommended us to check the site often. We were able to get a 6pm appointment which was pretty late, but it's nice since for weekdays to work it's helpful to have late appointments for those with work. During that time, they still had about 4 ladies working. We got assigned to different staffs for our services and they quickly sat us down after letting us choose the colors. The overall experience was nice because the atmosphere was nice. They constantly had aromatherapy and spa music which made it really relaxing. The ladies make sure you are comfortable and make sure you have pillows for cushion, etc. if you need. The appointment took over an hour for a manicure and pedicure, but it was still pretty fast and o enjoyed the experience. My only own small concern was when they were trimming my nails and cutting away old skins, the lady actually accidentally took off skin she wasn't supposed to and have me a slight scrap. She put some powder on it but I wasn't actually sure what that was and hope that was something to disinfect or clean it. Other than that, everything was good and I would go back again. They are 100% complying with the covid-19 regulations and I feel safer here than the grocery stores. I usually don't get my nails done, but my sisters and I decided to come to Loma Spa in preparation for a wedding. We made an appointment for three people. The staff at the front desk was very courteous and informed us of the special packages they were promoting for the month of May (different every month). My sisters wanted longer lasting nails and went with the gel services. I decided to try their luxury manicure + luxury pedicure ($75 with the promotion, $15 off normal price). If you check into Yelp, you can get 10% off with an additional 5% off if you pay cash. The luxury manicure + luxury pedicure is a great pampering service. It includes polishing scrub, softening masque, soothing massage emulsion, hot paraffin dip, and aromatic hot compresses. I was wrapped in warm towels for most of the service and my skin came out baby-soft. The whole process took about 2 hours. What stood out to me about Loma Spa was how clean the facility is and how nice their staff were. All the ladies were very polite and greeted us with big smiles. I also really enjoyed the lemon grass aroma they had in the salon so that it didn't smell like nail polish. I had an enjoyable and relaxing time here. Just had a manicure builder gel fill from Wendy, she was super meticulous gentle & took her time, listened to my preferences in every way. I am so happy with her work. I didn't feel pain or rushed at all. The employees here seem to be treated well humanely and they don't overbook. Compared to all the other salons I've been to.
