Great local food options at the LBC airport. The food is overpriced and the service is marginal.

Paid attention to every little thing and checked in on everybody constantly in a very warm way. A very great hostess to have at a house party that's for sure. Tried the combo appetizer and the food came out hot and very savory. Had a sangria that was fresh and consistent with the presentation.

Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of those expectations. To begin with the positives, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our visit. The outdoor patio on Second Street also provides a pleasant atmosphere and remains one of the restaurant's strongest features. Regrettably, the food was consistently disappointing. The gyro was dry and appeared as though it had been sitting for some time before being served. The pita was noticeably soggy, undersized, and lacked the texture and freshness one would expect. The accompanying salad consisted of low-quality greens that did not appear fresh, and it was served with what tasted like bottled dressing rather than a house-made vinaigrette. Having considerable familiarity with food preparation and dressings, the difference was immediately apparent. The calamari was acceptable but entirely unremarkable, and at $17 it did not justify its price. We also ordered a gyro salad, which suffered from the same issues as the sandwich: dry meat, uninspired presentation, and ingredients that lacked freshness. Ironically, the French fries were the most enjoyable item we received--competent, but hardly enough to elevate the overall meal. What made the experience particularly disappointing was not simply the quality of the food, but the imbalance between quality and price. I have no objection to paying premium prices when they are matched by premium ingredients, careful preparation, and attention to detail. In this case, however, the value proposition simply was not there. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend George's Greek Cafe. While the hospitality deserves recognition, the kitchen did not deliver a meal that reflected either the restaurant's reputation or its pricing. I sincerely hope management reexamines its commitment to ingredient quality, consistency, and execution, because the restaurant has the potential to offer a much better dining experience than what we encountered.

Food is so fresh which always matters but when you're getting a Greek rap with vegetables and falafel, the freshness is the most important thing. Service is cordial and simple and workers are expressing gratitude to the customers. I like the fact that it is on the corner with big open wall on each side of the street which especially helps not just for people watching when you eat but during the hot days. It's a big bright place and very clean. I do not find prices to be expensive for what you get. If you order combo with a wrap, french fries and drink it will be about $18, which these days is about right. I'm happy we have them in our community, very good place! Highly recommend if you like Greek food!

This is a short-order restaurant where you order at the counter and then they call out your number and you come retrieve it. We were lucky as our food came to our table by the gal, I don't know why we're so special. She was super flexible in taking our order as well because I accidentally ordered the wrong menu item because I wanted vegan and Evangenia easily switched it to the salad I intended to order. Ambiance: B. Easy breezy winds breeze through this joint with the sliding glass panoramic doors open. They have a coded to the bathroom that I never figured out because my fiancé's code memory is sparse. They are very liberal with allowing people to change the tv channels to what they want to watch as they allowed a FIFA soccer fan turn on the 3rd place game. Nutrition 4 Men + Ladies Tip: Order the Tahini Crunch salad (dressing on side, barely using one dip just to try it) with falafel to pack a protein power punch on the side. We stopped by here on a weekday because it was one of the dog-friendly restaurants near Rosie's Dog…read moreBeach. They have multiple outside seating areas where you can sit with your doggo. Ambiance (5/5): Although we didn't sit inside, it was super cute, with classy boho vibes. The restroom was clean and well-decorated (although, not gonna lie, I don't know how I felt about the big mirror facing the toilet). The outside patio area was airy, and although right by the street, I didn't find it unpleasant. Service (3/5): It was just so-so. They sat us down quickly, gave us our menus and checked on us maybe twice. It wasn't super busy, but we had to wait to ask for things like extra plates and water for our dog. Food Overall (5/5): Food was delicious. We got the beef shawarma lunch special and got fries for the side (extra charge) and also the chicken shawarma lunch special with the hummus side. Beef Shawarma (4/5): It had a nice toasty flavor, perhaps from the spices, and the pickled veggies really complemented it. My only complaint was that I wish it had a bit more of the white sauce (maybe adding more hummus would have helped). It was also strangely a bit watery, maybe from the veggies. Overall, it was still a yummy wrap. Chicken Shawarma (5/5): The chicken shawarma tasted more balanced to me overall. I don't recall the meat being dry, although I did also slather it with a bit of hummus. I thoroughly enjoyed this wrap. Fries side (5/5): Their fries are made in house and it tastes so fresh. It was crispy on the outside yet still gooey and moist on the inside. I'm not sure if they make their own ketchup too, as it looked clumpier and tasted really fresh too. The kids gobbled this up. Hummus and pita (5/5): It came with a generous amount of both hummus and pita. The hummus was well flavored and blended, and it really complemented everything on the table. The pocket pita bread was not what I had in mind (I'm used to thicker ones), but the kids really loved it overall. Ice cream (4.5/5): We ordered two scoops from the dessert menu. They were both really thick, creamy and almost chewy like liquidized mochi. It was a very interesting texture but nonetheless a nice tasty treat on a hot day. I much preferred the vanilla bean, as the pistachio tasted and looked rather artificial (and I'm a pistachio ice cream lover). This place had so many to-go orders during the afternoon we were there. I can see why. Food is super fresh and tasty. I think we will be back the next time we are visiting.

They offer flavorful and substantial menu items; however, as advised by friends, the preparation process can be relatively slow, with our two panini sandwiches and appetizer taking approximately thirty minutes to be ready for our pickup. Nonetheless, the quality of the food justified the wait. We ordered the House Specialty Hummus Trio, of which we have leftovers. All three varieties met our expectations, with the edamame hummus particularly standing out to me. Regarding the panini sandwiches (shared between two people) we had the Salmon Brie Panini and the Tofu Pesto Panini. The Salmon Brie Panini was enjoyable, though slightly fishy tasting. The Tofu Pesto Panini distinguished itself through its exceptional flavor, texture, and creativity. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and look forward to returning in the future.
