street fries with carnitas
Tiffany V.

probably your best evening option for hot food at the LGB airport. they make the fries fresh and give you a heaping portion of meat, if you choose to pay for the add-on. service was quick and friendly!

Menu as of 11/30/25
S J.

Looking at the last menu post, I was expecting 11.99 nachos (more for guac if you wanted it) plus 3.99 for carne. But the new menu only has one option: Nonstop Nachos 20.99 (guac included) plus 5.99 for carne. The food was okay, but the portions were definitely small, especially give the recent $11 mark up for nachos with meat.

Don't appreciate the extra charges! All I got was a chicken burrito with guacamole.
Valerie A.

Burrito was good, but waaay overpriced. On the board it says $11.99 but then they super upcharge for chicken and guacamole so total for one burrito was $25! At least I can say they were very generous with the "extras". They don't put lard in their beans, thank you. Service was reasonably fast. Food court seating or there's an area close by when you can eat outdoors and watch the planes take off and land.

breakfast tacos: scrambled eggs, cheese, chorizo on flour tortillas = $9.49 for 2
Trung N.

3.4724 stars Really not bad for airport food. Catch them before 10:30AM and you can have yourself a little breakfast before boarding. I ordered the breakfast tacos because they sounded most manageable before my short flight. For $9.49, you get 2 breakfast tacos - scrambled eggs, cheese, your choice of protein (chorizo for me) on either flour or corn tortillas. These were pretty good - comparable to something you'd make at home. I thought the chorizo was a tad too salty for my liking, but otherwise, this was a solid way to start the morning. They, of course, offer regular Mexican fare when it's not breakfast time. They also offer alcoholic beverages next door. Just a regular ole cantina at the airport.

Yummy chicken tacos

Love the environment-service and hella yummy tacos! These guys took really good care of me

Had to buy sodas. Food already in trash.

For certain the worst airport food experience, ever..and that's for an airport food! Laughable, even. Gross chips, salsa was bland, no salt or spice, queso was concession nacho cheese!!. Baja style tacos didn't have any of the correct ingredients or sauce and meat didn't have any salt or other seasoning. Luckily, it was expensive. We ordered two margaritas to sit in the cantina to eat this monstrosity of a meal and at $20 each, they weren't even drinkable. Please, for all that is holy- eat before you come to the LGB airport. I want my money back but I don't have the energy. Also, I'm still hungry. Update: we did not pay for the $20 margaritas.

Edit: My friend found a bone in her carne asada... I didn't know that can happen with carne asada meat. Changed my rating due to this. This is a Mexican food place at the Long Beach airport. The food was decent. Most of the main entrees started at $11.99 and many items were add-ons (meat, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and queso). * Burrito with Carne Asada 4/5 - I wanted a breakfast burrito, but they didn't have it available all day. The regular burrito I got was pretty good for airport food. It came with generous amount of rice, bean, and you can add cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, etc. and other add-ons as you'd like. The carne asada was good.

Breakfast tacos. Fall apart tortillas and no seasoning in the eggs.
Dave H.

Breakfast tacos are not good here. It would not take much effort to elevate the game. The scrambled eggs did not taste like they were seasoned before cooking. The corn tortillas were just heated on the griddle without any oil. That dries them out and when I got my breakfast tacos, the tortillas fell apart. I guess that's why they give you a fork with the tortillas. Here is my Gordan Ramsey advice to help improve the customer experience. Season the eggs before you scramble them. And warm up the corn tortillas by misting them with oil first. That will make them more pliable, bring out the corn taste, and elevate the taste experience.

Vodka soda

Jesse is the best! Super nice and helpful and chill. 10/10 will drink here every time I'm at the airport.

Cheese quesadilla

Very grateful they let me be the last customer of the evening as I was hungry before my flight home (delayed flight). A bit pricey and didn't include the pico de gallo like listed on the menu, but it filled me up. Grab and go location so the ambiance is the airport itself - but a beautiful outdoor area you can enjoy your meal for some fresh California air.

Nachos
Diana D.

We had a 2-hour layover here after a long flight, so we decided to grab something to bite. We got the nachos. Even though they were made to order, the nachos weren't warm. They were haphazardly assembled in front of us. Also, $12 (the list price at the time we went) gets you just chips, beans, shredded cheese, and some pico di gallo. Everything else (meat, guac, quest, etc.) costs extra. At the time we went, there was only one staff manning the station, so the same person was taking the order, preparing the food, and taking payment, which meant the line took forever to move. The portion was decent, but I would probably not recommend this place.

The bar. And Brian.
Bryan S.

Brian is awesome. He is super friendly and provides great service...he makes very good cocktails too! Stop by before you board your flight and grab a drink!

Spectacular Mexican food! I'm so glad TikTok recommended this place because I may have never…read morestumbled upon it otherwise! I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The wait was well worth it because each dish offered an explosion of flavors. My favorite dish was the birria, with the salmon ceviche as a close second. The mole was great too, but I'd say the other two dishes were more memorable and something I'd return for. I can't recommend the birria enough, as the flavors were reminiscent of what I've had in Mexico, very authentic. The space is small and can feel a bit tight, but sometimes the best food comes from these types of "hole in the wall" places. Ultimately, I'd say give Lola's a try! You can't go wrong with Mexican food!

The soup here lacks the tastebud awakening zip that Don Chato's has. The ono fish taco experience was my fault... I hate fried fish taco, so I had lofty expectations, but due to the fact that I do not prefer corn tortillas, guacamole or raw onions, led to much disappointment since It has all three. Totally my fault. The butternut enchilada was lacking in the expected savoriness... this is being polite. The potato taquito was okay... but I am not a taquito person, so if you are I would seriously encourage you to try it. The star of the table was the Mexican corn. It may not compete with Cornman in Lincoln Heights, but it was decent. I scraped off the onions and toppings on the ono tacos, put the fish on the flour tortillas that another person didn't want, and topped the fish with refried beans, street corn and a but if the chicken tortilla soup broth to make due. When you are driving more than 30 minutes for this experience, I think you would agree that it was less that a proper way to celebrate a birthday. Oh and if there isn't any street parking. It'll cost you about 9 bucks in the lot. I didn't use the restroom, so I cant review its cleanliness. Our waitress was flawless taking orders and delivering food The restaurant itself has a great layout and an outdoor courtyard complete with propane heaters and umbrellas - I loved that... but my favorite part was out front, no not the seating area in the former parking spaces, nope... it was the collapsed woman on the sidewalk, walking her dog with snot running out of her nose because she was huffing some aerosol can of whatever. This truly set the mood upon arrival. Two stars for being close to a lot of other food choices to visit afterward.

If you want big portions, legit authentic food, and prices that won't personally offend you--this is your spot. The pork shank? Fall-off-the-bone, no-effort-required kind of delicious. The tacos are (I do wish they had à la carte instead of plates, but honestly their rice and refried beans slap so I'll allow it). The ceviche is basically an entrée disguised as an appetizer, and the chicken arroz soup hits every time. They bring out chips and salsa immediately (as they should), service is quick, and there's plenty of parking--which already puts them ahead of half the restaurants in SoCal.

I opted for the carne asada plate - simple and not spicy. Hubby ordered the Carne en su Jugo- very spicy with tomatillo broth and serranos, cilantro, bacon and onions. Both of our entrees came with bean soup and tortillas. The chips/ salsa starter was addictive. Huge basket of fresh warm chips, and a salsa like no other! Chunks of veggies and just the right spice. It was hard to get those chunks on the chips but it was delicious. My carne asada was tasty, a large portion with grilled scallion and rice. I wish some of the "bean soup" had been pureed to be a bit thicker but the broth was good, with a variety of beans. Hubby's dish had an interesting flavor, very spicy. He wished the broth had some rice, though, to accompany it. We could come back weekly to try many more entrees. Their salads sound tasty, too. Service was great.

It was open seating when we arrived which majority of the tables was taken where all the television were. The main dining area had a television set up but main bar area was where the action was taking place. We got lucky as there was a table available along the wall with perfect view of the game. Of course it was rain delayed so more time to enjoy food and drinks. Also it was happy hour and taco Tuesday all at the same time. As the game was happening, one of the tequila sponsors was there offering deals. Shot and a jersey. Tony took care of us that night and he was amazing. Made sure that we got everything we needed. Very sweet as well. Happy hour menu offered a good amount of items for a great deal. As well as draft beer and cocktails. Regular menu is great as well which we've had before. Food, an order of the tostada both with shrimp and aguachili. Served with two small tostada and handful of crevice on top. Both were quite tasty and very well flavored in the juice. Also two of the street tacos with birria. They were quite small but did have a major punch of flavor to it. And well priced at 2.50 a piece. Of course the crinkle cut loaded fries with added carne asada. Seemed like it was a popular item as every table had it. It was good but a little skimpy with the topping. Lastly the chicken wings, lemon pepper flavor. Six piece tossed in the sauce. It was good but way too salty for my liking. We still enjoyed everything we had. As we got the shot with the jersey earlier, the person who was affiliated with the sponsor brand was walking around with more shot. I must say, it does hit the spot big time...lol... The crowd was lively with everyone all there for the same reason. The game and good company. First time for happy hour and it was nice. We had a great time and everyone working was the sweetest. And Tony was amazing. Took very good care of us.

Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and anticipating all of our needs (water refills, leftover containers, etc.). Service overall by all staff was friendly. We were actually presently surprised with the taste of the food, thinking it might be more Americanized but they actually had very authentic and tasty totopos (tortilla chips). The tomato salsa that came with the chips was also very refreshing. We asked for hot sauce too and the house habanero salsa really packed a punch! We ordered carne asada nachos, pork belly chilaquiles (from the brunch menu), a breakfast burrito, poke, and steamed clams. The steamed clams came in a rich tomato broth and the breakfast burrito was massive. The poke was just okay and the chilaquiles a bit too soggy for me, and the carne asada nachos a bit dry. Nonetheless, presentation and portion sizes were respectable. The last comment is that food here is quite pricey but that reflects the likely high rent of a restaurant in 2nd and PCH.
