The service was incredibly slow. The food was decent once it finally arrived, but the wait was so long that we ended up asking for a to-go box and leaving. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue at every LongHorn location I've visited. The service is consistently slow, and while the food is okay, it just isn't worth the wait. Maybe I got unlucky, but so many things went wrong. Waiter was friendly, but everything else service wise was terrible. Our order got lost somehow, so they came back 25 mins later to retake orders. Then they came back again 15 mins after that to tell us they didn't have ribs that day, so one person had to reorder again. When the entrees finally arrived over an hour after we first ordered, they forgot 2 of the side salads. The person who got the ribs had to wait another 25 mins since he changed to a burger. When it came out, it was rare when he ordered medium well. They took it back to remake it, which took another half hour. Two of the steaks were also overcooked from what we requested. The sides were also cold, I'm assuming because they messed up the order and had them sitting there waiting. They apologized and offered us free dessert and were nice about it at least, so that's the only thing stopping me from giving 1 star. read more

Food is better than average Longhorns. a plus 1.5 better. could have been a plus 2 except for the greasy okra. That's the good. service and management were atrocious. I would have addressed this with the manager. He knew I had issues but as I walked out he just said to the effect of 'Have a nice night', so he gets to see it here. First we gave drink orders which we got but no offer or questions about water. We got our drinks and were ready to order as I tried to catch the bartender's eye as she complained of having no customers tonight to the folks seated next to us and tidied the bar and rang up bills and continued her conversation as we sat and sat. She then came by and said are you all right. We were not we were waiting to order. Which we did. And we ordered a side as an appetizer. She asked if we would like some bread as well we said yes. No appetizer came out but we got our salads but we had no silverware or napkins. We had to ask the runner to bring setups to us. The bartender then came and asked how it was and I asked for the bread. Well she obviously had not ordered it. She came back and said it would be 8 minutes. They were cooking it now. Still no appetizer. Then came the main course. Still no appetize. The manager brought the main course and I asked about the appetizer. He said he would bring one. For free Not now I said. But it's not your problem unless you are the manager. He said he was and then I said it is your problem. He disappeared back to the kitchen. My bill for 2 with tip(and I gave one of 20+ %) was over $90. For that price I expect water, prompt service, food brought out in order, the order to be sent in, (and when I looked at the itemized bill my wife's order was conflated with mine. Her meat was with my side and her drink was on my order. No wonder the manager gave us the wrong meals) knives , forks, napkins, side plates for the bread, a men's restroom where you don't feel you have grab a paper towel to start to wash your hands, and a manager who doesn't run away from a bad situation. I pay less than this for 2 steak frites lunches at the Capital Grille with white table cloth service and staff who care. Such a shame!!! read more

We went to this location for my husband's birthday. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed (understandable since it looked like only three servers and a manager were covering the floor). My husband ordered a ribeye, I ordered a filet, and my kids ordered kids' sirloins--all cooked medium. When the food arrived, I was fairly certain that my steak was not a filet. The waitress told me she could "not confirm or deny" what cut it was and said to ask the manager. The manager came over and told me that it was indeed a filet, explaining that they use the whole tenderloin so the filets can look different. Still, it looked identical to my kids' sirloins. Once I cut into it, it was medium-well with well-done edges. At the same time, I noticed my daughter's kids' sirloin plate actually had a filet on it--which explained why mine looked like the others. I pointed this out to the waitress but said there was no need to bring the manager again. He still came back, insisted my steak was a filet, and admitted only that it may have been overcooked. He did offer to re-cook it, but at that point, I didn't want to send it back. I wasn't looking for anything to be comped, but it was disappointing that they couldn't simply acknowledge the mix-up. We paid via the QR code and left. Arrived Sunday afternoon to a mostly empty dining room and servers running around. Waited about 5 minuets and a server asked if been helped and said no, another 5 minuets went by and another person came up and said could not be seated for about 15 to 30 minutes more. another couple behind us was told the same thing. We got to talking and noticed haw dirty the dining room floors were and people walking around doing nothing. After a few moments asked to see a manager waited few moments and said we could not be seated because he only had 2-3 servers. Asked about be seated and getting drinks and was told no, So we left and me personally will never go back in again. the manager told me he would not allow us to be seated till he had servers to serve (not even offering us a drink) so we left. When we arrived the hostess was on the phone and we had to wait a few minutes, not so bad, but it kind of felt like someone else could have been paying attention and seated us. My husband ordered 1/2 and 1/2 tea, he doesn't like it very sweet, but it was overpoweringly sweet and he sent it back and went with unsweetened. We both ordered steaks, they were cooked to perfection but they had way too much seasoning. I ordered the Flos Filet and he ordered the ribeye. Such a waste. The baked potato was a bit dry. Other than the cooking everything was good. Server was nice. Restaurant is clean, ambiance is nice - not loud, which I prefer. But I wont be back for a steak. He had the chicken fried steak the last time and there were no complaints. So if you go I suggest you order something besides the steak. read more

Went in tonight for dinner. Really bad. Arrived not long after 6 PM, sat at a table in the bar. We commented about beating the rush, the dinning room not very full at this point. We ordered a round of drinks and an app. After they arrived we were ready to order. The dinning was quickly filling and wanted to get out order in. The server took our order and off she went. After awhile we noticed lots of food going out to a now full dinning room. We had not even received bread and butter. I had declined a second drink and ordered coffee. After awhile a gentleman came to the table to say it would be a bit for my coffee. At this point I asked about our dinner order. He left, never to be heard from. After about thirty minutes from when we ordered and not even received bread and butter, we decided to go. We attempted to pay for our drinks and app, they couldn't figure out how to give us a check. I asked about a manager, was told he was in the kitchen. Translation on that is "hiding under his desk". They couldn't have cared less about our bad experience.
