I really enjoy the food here and I would go more often but the service is just terrible. Every time I call they rush me, don't ask for my name, and just hang up the phone without any information. When I arrive to pick up my order there's no eye contact, there's no nice greeting and I'm rushed again. Los favoritos is one of my favorite places but after this visit I know I won't return to this location, if any. We ordered 3 burritos, fish taco meal (#10) and a Los favoritos nacos to share. I ordered and stayed in the car with the kids while my husband and step son picked up the food. They were given something called "jumbo nachos" - I didn't even know that was something you could order. It's fucking huge. And $20 on it's own. My husband told the girl we didn't order that, she argued with him. They came out to check with me what I ordered and I told them Los favs nachos. The girl still argued. She forced my husband to take this huge tray of nachos AND PAY FOR IT. My husband is very allergic to tomatoes, why would I wonder nachos he can't eat? And a freaking TRAY of them. We have enough food to feed a village. I'm sorry that the gentleman who took my order wrote down the wrong thing or maybe they just do this stuff to mess with people. I am not sure. But we have this GIANT plate of crazy expensive nachos we can't eat. In addition they got the combo order right and one of the burritos right. The Pollo asada burrito I ordered was NOT good. Unusual for Los favs. My husband's burrito was wrong. So much so that he couldn't eat more than half. They ran out of horchatta. The customer service was just so deplorable. First off, place was very clean. The cashier was a young girl and she was nice. They are also open pretty late 0200 i think and early morning (0600) if that's your thing Now the food, its late night coming home after partying all night kind of Mexican food and you just want something to eat that's not a cheeseburger. Reminds me of Filibertos, LosBetos, JulioBetos or any other Betos out there. I'm hispanic and wouldn't eat there unless......(read above) They also serve the food on styrofoam plates and boxes. We just moved to this side of Gilbert, and Los Favs is our new favorite crispy taco shop!! It's quick, delicious and pretty affordable for what you get. The only issue we've ever really had is sometimes the cashier misunderstands what we're ordering. I'm going to chalk it off to us wearing masks and the plastic shield between us and her. read more

In town to drop off my kid at ASU. After settling the kid into the dorm I was really hungry for Mexican. This place looked authentic even though it looked like a typical fast food joint. Everyone had masks, all employees wore gloves, and customers were all observant, so kudos to everyone! I am lactose intolerant, so it isn't easy to avoid cheese with Mexican food. But they had chili verde, which is one of my favorites. The wait was intolerably long; everyone else behind me in line were served before me. I honestly think they forgot to fulfill my order. This is the main reason for three stars. The food was absolutely worth the wait! Authentic flavor, a seriously spicy kick, and rice with lots of veggies in it (I avoid refried beans by necessity). My only complaint was the flour tortilla, which was dry and over-heated. I'd definitely recommend if you're not in a hurry. read more

Went for lunch with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The place was very clean, and you order at the front. This was my first time at one of these franchises. We enjoyed our food. My daughter got a quesadilla with tons of cheese! When I went to fill the horchata, the lever got stuck and it went everywhere. LOL! We will be back for more. No BS, nothing super special...but just real good quality Mexican food I could eat every day. But hey, I guess some people need to see the picture of what they are ordering. The food was average, not outstanding, but tasty and well prepared. I had the carne asada tacos. They were good, but they only had one corn tortilla which broke quickly upon my first few bites. It was overflowing with meat and guacamole but I would definitely make it two tortillas instead of one if I was the owner. My wife had the chimichanga, which she said was nice and crispy and had an extra bonus of green pepper inside. Overall I was satisfied, but I don't know that I would be a regular here. Tonight was a sad night when I have to give my go-to spot a 1 star review because of horrible customer service. After ordering my food to go (2 burritos and a M drink) I got my food and walked out to my truck where at this moment I dropped my drink (styrofoam cup) and it broke. I walked back in and explained what had happened and kindly asked if I could get another cup to refill my drink. She looked at me and didn't say anything. She then stated that I never purchased a drink. After reassuring her and showing her the receipt she told me I had to pay for another drink since I dropped it outside. She was EXTREMELY rude about the situation. She had her headphones in and was speaking Spanish to the cooks during this conversation and then turns and gives me a L drink cup. After asking why she is giving me a hard time and asking why that it's such an inconvenience for me to get another cup, she ignored me and continued to talk with cooks in back. I love this location! Not only because it's just down the road from my house, but because it's always clean, the service is efficient, and the staff is friendly. My favorite thing to get is the bacon breakfast burrito. When I'm really hungry in the morning after a night out, I can devour the whole thing, making sure to pour the red sauce all over it. Mmmm. It is pretty large, but it's nice to save half for later I guess! Los Favs will always be my favorite place for breakfast burritos!
