COVID-19 phase: Ordered 2 Lovers Point Club sandwiches for my mother and I with chipotle all on the side, 2 diet Pepsi's Along with adding a cinnamon roll that was shown to view with other sweets! Looked good! Waited a while for the order to be ready. The worker was masked and they are required. The sodas were not carbonated so we took them back and they had no other diet drink. The worker didn't know how to fix it. I just got my money back and had water in the car instead. Planned on eating outside to listen to the waves, but that plan changed real fast! Attack of the killer birds! A seagull came up quickly and took half of my sandwich! Scary! Then, many birds went after me to get the rest of my sandwich, but they didnt get it! Just went to the car to enjoy the rest of the sandwich that i had left with my mother. Luckily it was pretty good! Great chipotle aoli sauce. We need to check our attitudes before coming to work. I have had good experiences here before but never such rudeness as I experienced this time. There were two women working behind the counter we were interested in a lemon bar after ordering two coffee drinks . It was obviously a lemon bar on the bottom with something cream cheese or meringue on top I asked the girl what it was on the top due to my meal plan . I was asking because my friend has a severe food allergy that can fatal. She said it's lemon ma'am. I said "No ,the white on top of the lemon bar, is it cream cheese or what is that? and she turned around and stared at me and said "ITS LEMON MAAM!!" I was like...ooooookay. when she said is there anything else? I said yes there would have been a lemon bar if you would have explained to me what was on the top .. again she said ITS LEMMMOONNN! I said lemon is not white. I told her I was going to review the place initially and then her attitude changed she said" Well it's cream cheese! and I died.. that is all I wanted to hear finally. Cafe on the backside of the Beach House Restaurant. This place has picturesque views of the beach on the backside of lovers point. We picked up a couple drinks and a belgian waffle out here but a couple times we've been here they seem to be out of some items such as the Acai bowl. Also items are on the pricer side so it's likely that you are paying for the location and the view. There is a bath room attached and outdoor seating that overlooks the beach. Food isn't bad but is nothing to write home about either. Worth a visit if looking for a quick bite but there are better options if you are willing to drive into downtown Pacific Grove or back toward cannery row. read more

My husband and I arrived a few minutes before 10am on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We lucked out because a large running group arrived just behind us. To say they were busy is an understatement. These women were HUSTLING! I was impressed. As for the food and coffee, we ordered paninis, the Cuban and the Lover's Point Club. They were delicious! Perfectly crispy on the outside and full of deliciousness on the inside. The mochas were good, not too sweet or piping hot. This little cafe is awesome. Right on lovers point. They have an ice cream bin with an abundance of packaged ice cream selections. You can see parts of the ocean from the outside and indoor dining area. This is a convenient place to grab a sandwich, chips, drinks or pastries if you are walking along the lovers point picnic, beach area. I will definitely be coming back! The location is amazing. The music is good! The staff was so nice and funny! I got a caramel latte with soy milk and it was made to perfection. One of the baristas recommended the egg and bacon croissant sandwich with chipotle aioli which was surprisingly delicious because I don't usually like chipotle aioli. Convenient café located right in Lovers Point Park. Sandwiches, coffee and more - I had a ham and cheese sandwich, my wife a Green Goddess (great name!). Nice touch: they were out of the crab sandwich she ordered, and there was a dollar less for the new sandwich, so instead of reversing the initial charge, she let her pick any bakery item in the case - so essentially we got a four dollar pastry for a dollar. It's clear the owner works very hard to provide uncompromising good service. Lover's Point Beach Cafe is such a beautiful place and the nearest place to buy some coffee and enjoy the view is at Lover's Point Beach Cafe. We ordered a latte, an americano, and a delicious looking fresh baked cinnamon roll. The coffee was good, although nothing special. I'm never a fan of a place charging extra for soy milk and this place charges $.75 for soymilk, which is on the higher end! I can't help that I need to have soy milk, sigh. As for the fresh baked cinnamon roll, they asked us if we wanted our cinnamon roll to be heated and I said yes. Aftewards, I realized they microwaved the cinnamon roll! If I had known it was going to be microwaved, I would have just eaten it as is. The cinnamon roll ended up having the texture of a croissant. It felt like I was eating a cinnamon roll shaped croissant. The frosting tasted like cream cheese/buttercream. Later on, while strolling through Lover's Point, I accidentally dropped half my cinnamon roll....and I wasn't even sad. read more

- NO WIFI- FREELANCERS BEWARE!! No training for staff- twice I have been in and the staff do not understand basic stuff. The espresso is horrendously weak and watery. Staff doesn't know what Earl Grey Tea is--- which like sure we all have our teaching moments but if someone said "tea" i would atleast look at the tea selection in which I am grabbing products from to see if i can see the words "earl grey" before admitting my ignorance. Earl Grey was staring that worker down in big letters. The real question is- has the staff even seen their own menu, or are they not even paid minimum wage and thus not even giving minimum effort?? Super cute location with lots of options, despite a small menu. I shared the Lover's Point Club , which is a mouth-watering panini that has a crunch that sounds like it's from a commercial. The pickles, bacon, and spicy aioli blend together in such a delightful way. I wanted more even after I was full because the flavor was so spectacular! Reasonable price at $7.90. The hot waffle with strawberries and whip cream was an equally heavenly delight. It's so fresh and flavorful that I didn't need any syrup. The hot waffle and chilled toppings were such a pleasant treat. My only complaint is the size. For $6, I was expecting a regular waffle, but it was about the size of a fist. We also shared a morning glory muffin, with a little swirl of buttercream frosting on top. It's a great value being about the substance of a full meal at under $3.
