[[HIGHLIGHT]]Simple coffee shop right next to lovers point beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They've got coffee and sandwiches with seasonal specials posted by the front. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't beat the view, and prices are reasonable especially for the location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food is excellent. I'd probably give it a 9 out of 10. I do like the gluten free clam chowder and their fries are so good and different from anywhere else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view is amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is friendly and super helpful and accommodating. I eat here pretty frequently whenever I'm working in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At night they have a heated enclosed patio so you can still hear the waves while you dine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Excellent cocktail options. Menu has something for everyone.

This place has it all! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great seating and ambiance, friendly staff and amazing sandwiches![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the picky eater there are hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches. For the more adventurous pallet there are my favorites the Cuban with ham and spicy sauce and the new vegetarian smash burger made with jackfruit! Full coffee bar as well, for whatever your coffee needs are!

This is by far one of the best places to get a mid day sandwich from. I always go out of my way to stop here when I come to Monterey. 10/10 sandwiches/ paninis are the BEST. Fast service. Fresh food. Customer service is wonderful here as well!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately, the only thing good about this place is the ocean view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If not for that they have nothing going for them. We ordered a banana muffin and a strawberry matcha latte. The banana muffin was extremely mushy on the inside and smelled funky, fermented and rotten sour. I had to spit the bite I took out and my friend refused to try it. She did smell it and confirmed it was bad. I've never had a muffin that god awful. So I went back and told them the muffin is bad. They tossed it and offered another selection. So I got the cinnamon roll. They offered to heat it up. I should have known that's a sign that the cinnamon roll was not freshly baked as well. We took a bite and the outside was hard, dry and stale. The inside was okay and soft which is how the entire roll should be. Then I had some strawberry matcha latte and it was like sweet like syrup! I went back to ask for hot water and used up 3/4 of the cup to dilute the matcha latte. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then we used their restroom and it was filthy!! The vent had nasty lint and dirt hanging off of it. There was no ventilation and it was just stuffy. The corner of the bathroom had cobwebs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whoever owns this place has zero pride in their establishment and could care less about their customers health both in food and hygiene.

Friendly, fast service and pretty average prices. We got an iced vanilla matcha and a hot mocha. Both were phenomenal, so delicious! Not sure why they have poor reviews, I think this place is lovely! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Right next to the coast so the views are beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend :)

Ah, the views is perfect. This cafe is kissed by the fog most mornings. A loving kiss indeed. You can feel the positive vibe. The view us 5 stars, however the hot chocolate is only three stars. It is not easy to meet the 5-star threshold. I do admit I have high expectations. The chocolate should be scalding and almost syrupy. Let's not skimp on that magical cocoa bean that in bygone days only the king could eat/drink. Back to the cafe, it is worth a visit after a short walk along the shore. Great staff.

Located right next to the Lover's Point parking lot, this cute cafe serves up plenty of delectable items, like breakfast sandwiches, crab salad panini, chocolate chip muffins, hot cocoa, and various coffee beverages. I got the croissant egg sandwich with bacon, and an iced mocha. Everything was made fresh and yummy, I even watched the bacon sizzle on the grill. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, with tabletops that actually light up with scenes of the ocean, and the actual ocean outside as a beautiful backdrop to this awesome spot. And the staff was friendly, adding to the bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Sweet and tarte açaí with banana, blueberries, strawberries, granola and topped with honey!

I only knock this down to four stars due to the steep prices on the menu and bitterness of the coffee. It needed immense amounts of milk and sugar to be edible and I'm not much of a black coffee snob; I usually drink most anything. I was still feeling kind of sick but wanted something hot to drink so I ordered a mate latte with oat milk. I also had one of their beef empanadas to take away so I could eat it later. Mate latte was great and definitely would get this drink again. They also have a smoked mate drink and I would definitely come back to try this too! You have to like yerba mate to fully appreciate this drink. The mate latte is kind of a light version of what mate is like. Maybe start with this first to prepare you for traditional mate. If you get traditional mate, be prepared to have your mouth jolted and doing jumping jacks, its definitely stimulating and I love it! Later when I reached my destination, I ate the beef empanada with chimichurri sauce provided and it was delicious! After I polished it off, I had wished I brought a few more to take with me. But, at $9.50 a piece, they aren't cheap, so keep that in mind. We sat in a separate banquet room and loved the ambiance and floor to ceiling windows. My white mocha only got better with each sip (chocolate settled at the bottom), and my cheeseburger made with Angus beef was so juicy and satisfying. Urbano kindly shared the recipe when I asked. Although it was a red salsa, it also had tomatillos, which gave it the salsa verde flavor too. Wish they bottled that. My sister was ok with her Crab Cakes but wished she had ordered the Crab Benedict instead. I also had a couple bites of Nutella waffle that we ordered to share. Urbano also gave us a big cookie that we took to share later at the beach. How sweet!
