Came in today to get a tankless water heater. After looking around for a while, I asked someone where to find them, and was told the location, except I got there and there weren't any, just literature about them. So I asked someone else where I could find someone to help and they told me to go to Fashion Bath on aisle 38. I got there and there was one associate helping another customer and 3 other associates who walked right past me like I was invisible, but turned to help other people that walked up after me. I waiting for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. I try really hard to give you guys my business, but you really dropped the ball today. Worst customer service experience. Workers fail to acknowledge when you are standing there waiting for help. I waited at the door and window service for a good thirty minutes. I approached two employees asking them for help. They paged Nathan twice who never showed up. I had to pull a Karen and complain. After searching longer than intended, we had the pleasure to be helped by Johnny! He was in the process of loading up the shelves, one knee on the ground, while helping another lost customer. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere before you come here. If you love piss poor customer service, this is your spot! My wife and I came in here to buy patio furniture and found a nice set which we had delivered and was told it would be put together prior to delivery. First issue. It wasn't put together as stated. After they delivered it, I started to put it together that evening. The top part of the umbrella where the solar panel sits was broken in half. Assuming it broke when the delivery guys dropped that end of the box on the concrete in our backyard. Second issue. Called the store to speak with manager. Manager on duty finally answered only to be put on hold for 20 minutes. Call back again and get the run around of why the manager can't answer the phone. Stay on hold another 15 minutes before she finally gets on. Apologized and credited 10% of the total. Thought that wasn't a bad compromise considering we'd have to come back to exchange the broken umbrella. My wife and her mom went to exchange the umbrella today and the employees at the customer service had my wife go get a replacement. A box that's 7 ft tall for my wife that's 5'6" and is 115 lbs. My wife called me while I was working and let me know that she had to go get it and they didn't even offer to help bring it out. Talk about lazy ass employees. After buying $1K in patio furniture, I would not spend another dime at this store. Wish Home Depot had what we wanted in stock so we didn't have to have such a terrible experience here. read more

Ken was in the tree area and approached me to offer help. He was extremely helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the different types of trees. NOTE: only reviewing the garden center. The majority of the potted plants at my apartment have come from Lowe's. They have a pretty good variety of plants, from cacti to edible fruit plants, and they have a nice selection of pots and soils as well. As I walked around this area looking for a succulent, I couldn't help but notice how well-maintained the other plants were. The staff here was also friendly and courteous, although when I went they could have opened another cashier line since there were five people ahead of me. read more

Customer service is terrible. First of all. I bought a fridge. They said it would be delivered the next day between 5pm and 9 pm. It was never delivered. Now there saying it's gonna delivered 4days later. So I called and was on hold for a manager for 25 min. Then I called back because they forgot about me. So I called back. Then they said the manager Dave was just in a meeting and he's gonna help me now. She said hes very helpful. But apparently he never got the memo. Cause from the meeting he went straight to lunch. So once again I was on hold for another 20 min. Now I call back and I'm mad. But yet the girl gives me attitude. read more

I was at the store on Memorial Day and the place was well staffed. All kinds of items were on sale and employees were more than willing to help. An elderly gentleman in a motorized scooter had some questions and the employee was very patient with the customer. Half an hour later I crossed paths with the same elderly person who needed something else and another employee showed a lot of patience to assist him. Then another employee walked with the customer and assisted him patiently for the remainder of his visit at checkout and to the car. This location hires great patient employees who seem to be supported by management when a higher level of attention is needed for a disabled person. Now I realize their offers for assistance are sincere not just a script they have to follow. Good on you Lowe's! read more

I had an appointment set up for an in-person consultation for today, Saturday, April 22, 2023 between the hours 1-6pm. I received a conformation e-mail the day we set it up and come today, I haven't received a phone call, text message, email...it is 6:01pm. I came to the store to look for the Dewalt Multi Tool for example and floor rep and customer service was completely useless. First before getting to the tool and the issues with their website. I try to check location using "my location or find store" I do not know how their "my location on the phone works because Im in Tustin California but states I'm in Philly while the guy next to me is in Manchester, CT. Floor rep doesn't even know what their website offer in "battery operated tools are only offered as (Tool Only)" Well there are "kits" listed that include Tools, Charger with charger. In this case I'll use the Dewalt Multi Tool Lowes #1323782(Cordless), 492891(corded), 3728286(cordless) and 545241(cordless) As listed above 3 tools # listed that are cordless offer the tool with charger and battery, where the rep stated "They are not offered with charger and battery". Take a look at 3 # that are cordless 2 piece set (there are a lot more pieces that 2 in photo and description), 8 pieces (same as 2 pieces issues), and 28 pieces. All 3 item # shows 8 items!!! None of the title, description, photos match. Customer service and Floor Rep refused to count or try to help with confusing info. They stated # pieces is only listing the major components ( for 2 pieces for example tool and battery and "Bonus items?"). 8 pieces (tool, battery, charger, bag and 4 "bonus items") and 28 pieces (basically shows everything the 2 CHEAPER kit but does not show charger but a plastic storage containor) The 8 pieces has no plastic storage containor but offer a charger. The description does state all 3 kit include a charger. Their "check other store" in case the "shop this store" is a hit or miss, which often requires you to change store to check if its instock vs showing a list of near by stores inventory. Also If you don't see your item on the floor just leave as its in the Lowes Black Hole AKA shelf , which doesn't show where or which area its stored at and good luck having a person find that item unless they remember where its stored. The worst service I've ever experienced. From the moment I walked in there were employees standing around talking amongst themselves. Saw me waiting to get help, they never asked if I needed help. I finally asked for help and got a dirty look. They pointed me to the back of the store, when I went to the back I was basically ignored. When someone finally asked if I needed help, they walked me to the aisle where my item was, they walked away and didn't help me identify what I was looking for. In fact they also removed a shopping cart right in front of the item I needed, didn't ask if I needed it and rolled it away and walked away. I had to go grab the cart and then they said, " oh did you need that" It was poor service all through out. When I went to check out I asked to speak with a manager. After the teller rolled her eyes, a lady walked up and said what do you need , rudely. I asked if she was a manager, she said she was. I began to tell her my story and she quickly interrupted me and said that she needed a better explanation. She kept making excuses as to how her team didn't understand what I was saying and making me feel even worse about everything. She kept interrupting me and saying she needed a better explanation. I finally said that I was done and said to her how horrible her teams and her customer service was and walked out. HER NAME WAS LISA H. I understand that people have bad days and are not perfect. I definitely am not perfect, but after I gave the store $300 of my hard earned money, treated poorly by every staff member I encountered....I would of hoped that at least the management would of been professional enough to know how to handle a bad customer experience...LOWES completely let me down on this. read more

Ordered a fridge per measuring specs. Installers came in to measure, then installed new fridge, and confirmed the fridge would fit, but the doors didn't open. These door swing wide and hit our wall. We asked them to put the old one back, and they said they couldn't, they killed it (cut the power cord). Tried calling the store. No answer. Went in to physically see how doors hinge. Nothing available that would work until November (this is August). Getting the run around between online vs store, store transfers me from installers to manager, to appliances. No answer, dropped. Yesterday was my first time visiting Lowe's after many years. I was so excited to talk to someone regarding indoor plants. Nobody had a minute to talk, I went inside the garden Centre. Display of plants and prices were really good but just no customer service. After, 15-20 minutes of reading some plant information on cards that were attached, I tried asking one of the employees a question. She and her colleague seemed as though they needed to go somewhere urgently. She looked at me and let me ask her the question but didn't have time to stop, so I pretty much walked behind her and got a couple of answers and left. On the contrary, been to Home Depot in Irvine and Tustin and enjoyed every experience. Employees always help in the garden center and every other area. It's sad, because Lowe's is such a beautiful place but no customer service, definitely won't be ever visiting again. read more

Nothing annoys me more than a place that prides itself in customer service and receiving nothing but a load of garbage. This was by far the one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I spent about 10-15 items and $400 here today and I thought it would be wise to use my ShopSavvy price match app. Everywhere like Walmart and Toys R Us has never given me such attitude and they still got it wrong. RED the manager there was rolling his eyes and making things difficult with a very condescending "Oh you are one of those price matching people" faces. He felt it was unbearable and had another manager sit with us because it was "soooooooo unbearable" to sit through us zapping the bar codes with the app. Also RED got it wrong saying it had to be local retailers. Lowe's on Facebook even shows that you do price match with Amazon.com . You should get it straight with headqaurters chum! Attached is a picture of the correspondence. The least you could have offer for someone shelling out $400 bucks and planning to buy more was to have service with a smile. Sure beats someone buying a 15$ caulk. Now the checkout guy Timothy was at least patient and courteous, He should be the manager. Shout out to Aires at Lowes Tustin. We were there kind of late this evening at the end of a workday. I asked a question about where a particular hardware screw was to finish assembling some furniture. He immediately knew which aisle to find and said as soon as he was done he would find me to help. Then he showed up and helped us for more then fifteen minutes and didn't leave our side until we had located everything we needed. He even suggested to visit a different vendor store for an item Lowes did not have. We have always preferred Lowes but have depended more on online ordering in the last few months. This visit confirmed for me that Lowes offers the best customer service and we definitely intend to keep our home improvement business there. After my 3rd visit to this store in the past 24 hours, I hope I never have to go back. The issue I had over the past three visits was that I didn't bring my Lowes credit card with me and asked that they print a temporary card for me. So that simple request took 10 min for the cashier to figure out how to find and print it. Fast forward to this morning, I returned to purchase additional items and was told that the temp that I had used the night before wasn't printed on the correct paper and the cashier couldn't get it to work, so again it took another 10 min to print a new one. But the icing on the cake was this afternoon when I returned to purchase a few other small items and encountered a new clerk who apparently was not familiar with the new software system they recently installed. After 5 min of her trying to ring me up, one item did not so she asked me how much it was. I told her I believe it was 5.99 and she said, is 9.99 ok? What? I asked if I needed to go take a picture of the item and she told me "yes". So I had to walk to the opposite the store and take a picture and return and the actual retail price was $5.88. So she tried to ring me up again and it she couldn't get the temp card that I had used earlier to work so she rung it up a 3rd time and then she tried to charge my account 57 thousand dollars and couldn't figure out why it didn't work. I again asked for a manager as she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Luckily the "Store Manager" Crystal was there to insult me and make things worse. When I tried to express to her that I was frustrated because I have spent over a half hour between my last three visits checking out, she replied "iF YOU HAVE TIME TO SHOP, YOU HAVE TIME TO WAIT!" Are you kidding me? I asked who her manager was and she said she claimed to be the top manager in the store and blamed the issues on the fact that "we have a new software system". While I can appreciate that, I cannot appreciate the rude comment from the "Store Manager" Crystal. I tried to talk her and express my frustrations and she would just talk over me, so I gave up on trying to speak. Finally on the 4th attempt she was able to finalize my $57.00 transaction and I was free to leave. I then left the store and returned to ask one of the guys on the floor who always helps me, and I was informed that Crystal is the Customer Service Manager and not the a ASM or GM as she implied. The fact that she is the Customer Service Manager is a concern and the ASM's and GM should be very concerned that she is not only rude, but she also represents herself to be a ASM or GM while being confrontational. I received fencing ordered online to be delivered to my backyard. Lowes scheduled the delivery from 12 noon to 4pm. Their delivery people dropped the fencing in my driveway before 10am and left. It was supposed to be delivered to the backyard. The merchandise, although I request they inspect it, was very sub standard. Their were knots falling out and cracks in much of the wood. Their excuse was that "the delivery company" was incapable of doing this even though it was printed on Lowes confirmation. I was difficult to get through to anybody who seemed interested in solving the issues. I eventually spoke with a gentleman named Chuck at the Tustin Lowes Store. He took a genuine interest in my concerns and I am awaiting a visit from one of the store employees to view and help me relocate the merchandise to the backyard. He was most sincere in his efforts to resolve the problem. I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's online. Delivery day delivery team called in morning to confirm the delivery time. Around the delivery time they called and told they have only washer. I told, if both of them is not coming together, no need to deliver. After 30 minutes of delivery time they came and delivered. But they could not install the dryer because the gas connector came along with purchase was not suitable. And they told, gas connector fitting for this dryer is out of stock in Lowe's. You can look for it in The Home Depo or in local Lowe's and call the customer care and when it is ready. I purchased the connector and called customer care. She told they will inform the local Lowe's at Fresno. Someone from Fresno Lowe's called me shortly and told, their installation team will not use connector connector I bought from Lowe's unless I have a proof I bought it from Lowe's. If they have inventory she will call and reschedule. She told she will call when the inventory is ready. read more

This review is specifically for the Lowes Garden Center. On several occasions, I've had to ask for help in their outdoor garden center and their staff does not seem to be very knowledgeable about the products they carry. I asked for help to find some peet moss and the cashier in the garden center told me it may be in the ground cover as most moss is in that area. I had to explain that peet moss is a soil amendment and not actual moss. Even then, the cashier had no idea where it was. I eventually found it myself. On another occasion, I trying to find garden lime. Once again, the staff had no idea what it was. They directed me to the citrus trees. Garden lime is also a soil amendment product. I hope they are able to provide better training for their team who works in the garden center and learn more about the products they carry. read more

We purchased a $1200 patio set at the Tustin store and scheduled it for delivery and there was some sort of miscommunication where they sold those items to someone else and then ran out of stock. There were 2 in stock when we purchased the set at the store. We rescheduled the delivery TWICE only to be told both times (the day before) that we were not going to be getting the set because there's not any in stock. Why reschedule a delivery then? We didn't mind if there was a delay with our shipment; we understand this stuff happens, but we didn't appreciate how Lowe's did NOTHING to figure out a solution for us. The only solution was a refund, which even meant we had to drive all the way to their store to get. Maria was nice and professional at customer service, but she was the messenger for us and couldn't really help us with this issue any further. We spoke with Andy, who is the seasonal supervisor and asked if there is any other store in the nation that we could get it from and he said the shipments had something to do with the manufacturer so we were basically out of luck - it's the manufacturer's fault. Of course that was very disappointing for us to hear because we were really looking forward to that patio set after re-doing our yard. After hanging up with Andy, we look online and there were plenty of these patio sets, even in-stock at some local stores. Our frustration is that Lowe's didn't even bother to tell us any of this and didn't even care to help us (when it was THEIR mistake). Even when I specifically asked Andy if any other stores had it, he failed to mention it and blamed it on the manufacturer. Needless to say I will never be shopping at this Lowe's again and Home Depot will be our go-to home improvement store moving forward. read more

This store. Oh my God. Where do I begin? This is my first negative review on Yelp and I'm only doing this to hopefully save someone from the hassles I've dealt with. I usually go to Lowe's in Huntington Beach but that store is smaller and doesn't have the stock of this Tustin store. I've driven to this location a total of 3 infuriating times over the last 5 years. The first time was to get some pendant lights for my kitchen remodel that they said they had 10 of. I needed 3, they had 1 that they could locate after an hour. I vowed never to go back. Well, 5 years later I thought they may have gotten better so I came to get some pliers that HB didn't have but Tustin did have 23 in stock. I get there and look at all the endcaps and the pliers section and this set doesn't exist anywhere. I see an employee walk by, he says this isn't his dept and I need to talk to"that guy over there" and kept walking. I find that guy and he points me to the pliers section, then the end caps. Then looks at top stock and doesn't see them at all and walks away. I'm out...never to return.... Well, now I need some Gladiator cabinets and my Lowe's doesn't have them (of course) but this Lowe's does. So I order them for online pickup. I figure at least they'll be waiting for me at the front. I get the email the next day telling me my order is ready, I arrive there, wife and toddler waiting in the truck, I'm told they'll get my cabinets in 5 min and to wait outside by my truck. 15 min goes by so I check and I'm told 5 more min. 10 min later I go up and see one Gladiator cabinet in the wrong size and a Craftsman cabinet. I ask if these are mine, I'm told yes. I'm pissed at this point. Been a half hour to get the wrong cabinets that were supposedly ready to go that morning. I go to the isle and see one of the correct size cabinets but the box is destroyed. I inspect the contents and it looks good. I load it on the flatbed. The guy who was supposed to be picking my order shows up and is surprised I found it and looks up and spots another one on the high shelf. So after another 1/2 hour of waiting for a forklift and watching these two violate many OSHA regulations trying to get it off the shelf I finally had my cabinets. I will never return to this place, ever again. No matter what. read more

This is my second year coming to this location to buy a Christmas tree! The store is very easy to locate, if you are new to the area google map will take you right to the location. They have a private lot so finding parking is not a problem and there is ample amount of space available. They have a pretty good selection of Christmas trees and the prize for it is pretty reasonable as well. All the trees are set up right outside the store, a little drive thru is created for the customers to pull the car up so the workers can help mount the tree. All the workers are nice and super friendly. read more
