Terrible service. Undercooked meats. Last time I went there (about two weeks ago) I waited 15 to 20 minutes after being seated, and not one person came to take my order. Hell, they didn't even ask me for water. So I waited until a saw one of the"suits"and approached him. Told him that I was seated immediately (which yeah is good, but only because there was like maybe 10 people inside the whole restaurant) and no one came to take my order. I suggested to him they needed to do better and it was unacceptable service. I didn't even mention to him a few people came in after me and were seated and greeted with service. But not me. And the"suits" response was the standard restaurant industry retort "I'm sorry sir" (or something to that affect). There wasn't any attempt to remedy the situation by the suit. Example:"Apologies sir, please sit and let me make this up to you, or I'll take your order personally sir. What would you like?". Nah. He carried my complaint much like the lazy staff there, with pretty much a shoulder shrug. I'm sure his leadership or lack of concern is shared with the staff, and they reflected that. Listen I've gone here a couple times; it's decent imitation Asian food for a casino. But it'll be awhile before I get anything from there again. Maybe by that time they'll have some type of consideration and decency standards for patrons. Until then, I'll make sure to tell anyone and everyone to stay away from there. Not just while there at Live casino. In general. When the topic of food comes up,in any context, place, environment, etc., I'll interject, (unsolicited) places not to eat, and this place will be one of the first places I mention. O and I gave it one star, for seating me promptly in a mostly empty restaurant . Js. read more

As a new restaurant in a casino it's expected for them to work out some kinks. But I can reassure you that they put thought and care into everything. The ambiance is trendy and modern with neon lights and geisha wall art. The price is high but that's expected for being in the casino. We ordered here twice and both times we ordered the Crispy Chilean Sea bass! OMG! Delicious! Crispy perfection with a sweet and tangy sauce. My friend and i visited Philly Live and decided to try the restaurant LukFu. We ordered 2 Pepper steak added shrimp and no bell peppers. For those entrees it cost $74.48. The food was horrible. The beef was nasty. There was very little shrimp that we paid $24.00 to be included in our entree. When calling the restaurant to make a complaint, they told us to bring the food back and they would make two other entrees. Why would we went them to make more when we were displeased with those entrees. The staff took my information however no one ever contacted me. People don't waste your money on this disgusting food. read more

Just happened to be walking by this place inside Live Casino and glad I stopped in. Phenomenal food and fantastic service. I would recommend to anyone...makes Live Casino a food destination. The ambience and the service was great and I really did enjoy visiting this new restaurant in the new Live! casino near the philly stadiums! I ordered fried tofu, tempura veggies and a vegetable sushi roll. I'm sure it was just what I ordered but I just felt like all the flavors are pretty basic. There's not a lot of plant based options for you to choose from so I kind of had to settle for what was available to me however I just feel like the sauces could've been better or there could've been more garlic or something. Each meal that I ordered was just missing something. If you are a knee eater then you're in luck! There's a lot of different options for you to be able to take advantage of . Not 100% sure if I'd return back but it's definitely worth trying if you're in the area. read more

These Vietnamese devours come from @lukfuphilly in LIVE Casino Philadelphia. This Vietnamese themed restaurant is really dope and very modern. They offer happy hour and don't close until 3AM. The bathrooms are really clean and the service is phenomenal and fast! While here; I first ordered a glass of their 14 hands Merlot which was very fresh and tasteful. I then ordered a Miso Soup which was full of flavor and spices. Next, was the Fried Squid Served with Kewpie Mayo. The squid was fried literally perfectly and the mayo really made it even better! Next, was the Vietnamese Style Black Pepper Beef which was Beef Tenderloin Flashed with Butter, Black Pepper and Maggi. Ugh, this dish speaks volumes on its own! The beef was super tender and tasty! The pepper sauce really set this dish off. I love this dish! Last but not least, was the Crispy Chilean Sea Bass Served with Red Vinegar and Soy Vinaigrette. Had a great experience at LukFu! The drinks were great and honestly a good size for the price. The best part of the whole meal was the general tso's chicken. A great portion and really good chicken. The rest of my party got sushi and they all enjoyed their meals as well. The cheesesteak springroll appetizer was really good just a bit small with only three small spring rolls included. The sushi was amazing. I had the dragon roll and dancing eel. Sushi was fresh! Appetizer: steamed dumplings and miso soup. Steamed dumplings was pretty good.. miso soup was mediocre. Main course: general tso and honey short ribs. General tso was made to perfection. Honey short ribs were burnt and a little over cook but relatively okay tasting. Dessert i had creme Brule which was not tasty at all wouldnt recommend. Drinks: sake . Ordered 4oz was given 3oz but manager gave a free sake to comp their mistake. Sake was good as well.price: alittle on the pricey side. Total: $200 including tip. I would recommend this restaurant. I would return. read more

This might be the worst dining experience I've ever experienced. Once seating our waitress took our drink orders and brought the non alcoholic ones pretty quickly. That is where the good service ended. We got one alcoholic drink s and then for some reason our server changed. Food order was still not taken at this point however, the table next to us who were seated about 10 min after us were receiving their entrees. We were there for the valentines special and once our server asked for our order, after complaining to the manager, they had to go find different menus for the special. Why ask when making the reservation if we want the special or not? Both tables on either side of us were seated after us, completed their meal and left before us. We had a great time at Luk Fu, with great food, delicious cocktails, and fantastic service by our server, Bok Hee. She was attentive, gave us all of the info on the dishes we ordered, and was incredibly sweet and kind. Our food was delicious and fresh, and the cocktails equally so. Something to note is that the food comes out as soon as it's ready, so you may not get your plate at the same time as your party. We didn't mind this - it ensured that our food was as fresh as possible and served at the perfect temperature. Went to try Luk Fu for my birthday, I've been waiting to try it since Live opened up so I was excited to go. The service was great and VERY attentive, but the food was just average. We had the shrimp and pork dumplings and cheesesteak spring rolls, both were good but would have liked a bit more than 4 dumplings and 3 spring rolls. As for the main entrees I had the General Tso's Chicken, which was good, but just average at best. I asked if I could get fried rice instead of the white rice, but was told no so that was a downer. The rest of the party had the Pepper Steak which once again was good, but average and the portion size could have been WAY bigger; finally we also had the Fat Beef Pho which was good, but the beef was WAY too fatty even though our waiter said it wasn't too fatty and just the name. Honestly I would say the overall experience was just average and if I want Chinese food next time I'm down at Live, I would stick with the Sangkee in the food court for probably half the price for regular Chinese food, if you want noodles this place would be a good choice for you at Live. If you are willing to take the ride down Broad St toward Chinatown, I'd say go there for better food and at a fraction of the cost. read more

Today I have the pleasure of eating at Luke Fu at the new Philly live Casino and Hotel. Bok Hee what is my server today and exceeded my expectations for service. After being seated she immediately arrived at my table and took my drink order. I didn't wait very long and my drinks were brought back to the table she took my order and with in five minutes of leaving the table it felt like my appetizer was coming out. Bok hee Went above and beyond what I would expect a waitress to do. She cleaned and sanitized my table before placing my food in front of me everything came out hot, smelling delicious. Not too long after that my volcano roll was arriving. It was extremely beautiful to look at I was so upset I had to ruin it but excited to try. It was crispy spicy and delicious I ate myself full. I had such a great time at lunch I will definitely be returning every time I was at the casino & I will be request Bok Hee As my server each time. Thanks for the great experience. read more
