We've been to eat here several times with no issues, but today we ordered an omelet and a BLT with avocado. I grabbed one half of my BLAT and the top side bread slid off as I went to take a bite, and I didn't see any avocado. We noticed it was on one side of the sandwich but was a small portion, not enough to spread to the other side. When we asked our server about it, we were told by staff, "that is how they make them." I remarked it was odd, since I've never had it here with avocado on one side. They said they "would have to charge more since they are only allowed to serve a specific amount." Considering I've never had a BLT, which only had avocado on one side and the portion they gave me wouldn't cover both, I asked again about their policy. The server explained they are only allowed to serve a certain amount. I asked if that meant only one half of the sandwich got avocado. The server said, "that is how we make them here." The server repeated they are only allowed to serve a certain amount and would have to charge extra for more. Anyway, they brought extra. I have never complained about the food here. It's not bad. Time: Mid-Day for Lunch. Only a couple tables had customers and there were 3-4 staff in the dining area. Facility: Dining area and restrooms were clean. Food: Ordered breakfast for lunch. I got the Big John's Biscuit and my wife got The Logger's Breakfast Burrito. The biscuit was ok, gravy was tasty and the sausage was pretty good. Eggs were cooked as requested. Burrito was good, potatoes were crispy but under seasoned. Coffee was extremely bitter. Service: Here is where they started to lose stars. We were not greeted for several minutes and once we were sat down no one came to get our drink order for more than 5 minutes. Finally the hostess noticed we had yet to be served and came over. She took our drink ordered and said she would get our waitress. When she returned with our drinks she said our server would be right over. Eight minutes later we still had not seen a server. My wife actually got up and asked an employee who our server was. She called to another girl and asked who was covering our table. Her response was "I guess it's me". She came over and stood at our table...not even a greeting. We placed our order and the food arrived fairly quickly. She redeemed herself a bit by checking on us a couple times and was actually polite when she did. alright , time for another review and another stockton restaurant to my dismay . i'm giving it two stars simply because the portions were very large . it was literally enough food for two people to eat from the plate . now let's get to the real issues at hand here . Ok I absolutely love this place!! The menu is awesome and gives you plenty of options. I actually don't think Iv seen a menu so extensive as theirs. I ordered the biscuits and gravy half portion and the loggers breakfast burrito. I was not disappointed the meals were huge!! The reviews don't lie the portions were for the whole day. The food was awesome!! Gravy was creamy not runny which I'm always a big fan on. The service was exceptional Alicia my server was very nice, polite and I didn't have to wait to long or have to ask her for anything. She is a great server and a good asset to this business. We have been going to eat here for a few years, but the last two times have been horrible. I ordered fried eggs over easy with country potatoes, and sausage, along i=with french toast. I did order a side of toast. Well the waiter brought my order out with my plate of toast on top of eggs, which were broken, I send that back, don't like my fried eggs popped. My husband and I came to get something to eat and our waitress was this skinny girl with big eyelashes and make up that looked like she was going to a club I didn't get her name but she was really rude while helping us. We ordered and we got BURNT hash browns , now I'm not one to complain but I don't like paying for something that's not what we ordered. We got burnt hash browns , when I asked for new ones she was being condescending about it and gave us some new ones. I asked for toast , she brought me the wrong toast.. my husband ordered a ham plate and the ham was completely burnt on the other side and looked like it had been cooked in some oil that was burnt and the burnt pieces were all over his plate. When I was eating my toast I realized lint on it so I took it off and then noticed a bunch of lint on the other slices as well! As if they dropped it on the floor or something. My husband ended up throwing up in the bathroom from what he ate. We had a good experience before this but this one was just horrible. And I felt bad having to keep asking for stuff and complaining but if they did their job the right we it wouldn't have to be like that. I spoke to the manager and she was super accommodating and nice and handled everything , unfortunately we left because we were just grossed out at that point though. Came here for breakfast today and I will not be returning ever again. The service was terrible and by that I mean my waiter was oblivious to acknowledging the fact that I was upset about having to bring to his attention multiple things. 1st there's a bug in my food. Take my plate away bring it back looks like they scraped out the part where the bug was laying in my eggs. As soon as I get my plate back I notice another thing I asked for sausage and received bacon this time. There was no sorry in between all these mistakes being made. My food was cold at this point my appetite was lost and my boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs and didn't receive those either. Waiter did not offer to discount for any inconvenience I had to ask for a manager and she was no better. The bacon and sausage was alright and that's it. The hash browns were burnt and had a bad flavor like it was made on a dirty pan. The country style potato's that my mother had were completely undercooked almost like they were diced up and put straight on the plate. The chicken fried steak was way overcooked and taste like dirty fry oil. The service at the table was very poor. I was given one drink the entire time without a refill and my mother's coffee had more coffee grounds in it than anything else. When we were leaving we tried asking about the prices of their pies and was ignored twice by our waitress who was to busy playing on her phone. The restaurant had a nice design like an old log cabin which was fun but they over-seat the restaurant to where your practically sitting at each others tables while not being able to get up out of your seat with out backing into someone. read more

Sadly they let me down, I ordered Door Dash for a sick friend. There was only a limited time frame to have food delivered and the order was accepted and the screen was being updated. Just at the anticipated delivery time I received a call from DoorDash saying Lumberjack could not fill the order. Mind you this is first thing in the morning and it's sausage eggs and potatoes. I ordered a coffee, fortunately I paused before drinking it because there was a long, black, thick hair in it. I asked for another coffee and drank part of it. The thought of the coffee sort of took the pleasure out of eating..just did not taste like it would have otherwise. The toast was cold and sponge like. Customer service was amazing! The two waitress we got were super friendly & the lady at the cashier. The food was great! The plates were nice sizes & tasted great! My husband ordered the burger and I got the turkey dinner plate... I recommend this location to anybody who wants to enjoy a great breakfast and lunch.
