I was pleasantly surprised after taking my first bite of the chicken and vegetable kabob plate that I ordered to-go. The online takeout process was simple and thorough. I was able to choose the types of sauces, bread, and any additional sides I wanted. One of the best ordering platforms I have used. Entree: The chicken kabob was so moist and flavorful on its own. At most other Mediterranean restaurants, I have to drown my meat in the garlic sauce to give it any flavor. This chicken had me doing backflips it was so good. The vegetable kabob I could tell had been marinated, which made each bite so juicy and delicious. The rice was average, nothing really outstanding about it. So glad I chose the carrots as my side, because those were also fantastic. Sauces: The garlic sauce was so creamy and garlicky and I wanted to just eat it by itself. The tzatziki sauce was also seasoned well and creamy. Hummus: Loved the original hummus, hut wasn't too crazy about the spicy cilantro hummus. The original hummus was seasoned perfectly with a touch of lemon. The spicy hummus wasn't spicy at all. I was expecting something with a little heat and sadly, I was disappointed. I upgraded my salad that came with the meal to a Greek salad for $1 extra, which came with field greens, red onion, tomatoes, cucumber, and feta cheese. I should have asked for extra dressing on the side because it was so good and there wasn't enough. Overall, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back when I have a craving for Mediterranean food. read more

Atrocious. We ordered 5 meals online for delivery. 4 of them were wrong/burnt/missing items. One of the pita melt meals had no cheese in it - it was just sliced pita bread. The other pita melt meal was so burnt we had to throw it away. Our chicken kabob meal arrived as gyro meat instead... Our side salad came with dressing that was only filled about. 1/4 full...nowhere near enough to cover even a few leaves. It was so bad it almost seemed as if it were done purposely. I've been trying a lot of these Mediterranean food place in RC area and this place is decent but nothing surprising. I ordered through yelp and the order arrived on time. My husband had Lamb kebab plate with spicy hummus and garlic sauce, he finished the whole thing, so no complaint. I ordered sirloin tenderloin kebab plate. The rice is white rice with no seasoning. I'm a bit sad. I like seasoned rice. Overall, their hummus is very good, it have more texture than the store brought kind. However the flavors are a little lack of seasoning to me. read more

My husband and I have eaten here 3 times now and I think it's about time for a review. Luna Grill is located in the new plaza of restaurants on the south side of Foothill Blvd, west of Spruce Ave; across from Terra Vista Town Center. It's next to Blaze Pizza and Tokyo Joe's/Jersey Mike's. The interior has plenty of seating and modern decor. Visit #1 - May 2018 We tried the Warrior Wraps which they were offering for National Military Appreciate Month. It had gyro and fries inside (along with yogurt sauce, feta, tomato & lettuce) and we chose the multigrain lavash over the pita. We also split an order of falafels. Overall, the wait time was very long and I thought the wrap was too salty for my taste, but I loved the texture and taste of the falafels and also their Pomegranate Limeade. Visit #2 - July 2018 This time we ordered the Dip Trio appetizer and 2 kabob plates (veggies and chicken). I love their Garlic Sauce, Spicy Feta and Hummus. Our food did not take very long to come out this time. I also loved the presentation of their kabob plates which come with house salad, Basmati rice, pita bread and choice of carrots or grilled tomato. The veggies all had a nice grilled flavor and the whole entree was very filling. Again, I washed it down with some Pomegranate Limeade. Visit #3 - July 2018 My husband and I both ordered salads. He got the Mediterranean Salad with chicken $11.50 and I ordered the Apple Walnut Salad (no meat) at $9.25. We both got cups for water. Like the first time we dined here, the restaurant itself was not very busy, but the wait time for 2 salads was pretty long. My salad had a Pomegranate vinaigrette and pita bread. The salad looked small when it came out but it was filling after I drank my water. Great fresh flavors. (I must really like Pomegranate! LOL) Overall, I really like their menu and food. However, because of the price, I wouldn't consider it a cheap date. Just two salads (1 without meat) and no drinks was already ~$24 and when we do go all out ordering entrees with meat and drinks it's $40+. Although service is great and staff is friendly, the only other negative would be the wait time for dining in. Other than that, those wouldn't deter me from coming in again for their delicious food. We came here for the first time, and everyone working was friendly from the start to the finish. They have a menu above the registers, you order upfront, pay then sit down and they bring your order out to you. We decided to go with a half chicken and half gyro kabob plate that comes with salad, cucumber yogurt sauce (1 oz), 3 pcs of pita bread, basmati rice, chicken breast kabob and sliced lamb gyro. I added 1.5 oz of hummus to my order for extra. The food was fresh and the kabobs moist and tender. The gyro wasn't as flavorful as I wanted but didn't taste awful either. I would definitely get the chicken kabobs. Basmati rice was fluffy and slightly buttery but not overwhelmingly so. You also have the choice to get carrots or grilled tomato. I chose the grilled tomato. The husband opted for a grass fed burger and upgraded his fries for the feta fries, which I recommend doing! Self serve drinks enabled us to mix unsweetened black ice tea with lemonade and or pomegranate lemonade. I would come back, food was fresh, portions good, and prices fair. read more

I wasn't really impressed with this place. The setting is beautiful, well designed, clean place. Seating is spacious and comfortable. My husband and I both ordered the chicken kabob plate, and left wishing we had gone to our regular Mediterranean food place. Salad was generic mixed greens salad with a couple pieces of cucumber and tomatoes thrown in. Rice tasted like plain white rice, chicken was good but didn't feel like enough. Pita was ok.
