We had such a great experience at Luna Grill in Rancho Cucamonga! We walked in about 10 minutes before closing, and Ariel was incredibly kind and welcoming. She reassured us that we still had time to eat and never made us feel rushed at all. What really stood out was her thoughtfulness since we ordered just one meal to share, she surprised us with an extra meal. It was such a generous and unexpected gesture that truly made our night. This specific location has the most amazing service. On NYE I placed an order, however I did not realize that I had placed it for next day. When I got there I was told there wasn't an order and that I had made it for tomorrow, unfortunately they were also about to close. I told Alexia I had made an honest mistake and she was so kind she asked her team to please make it for me even though they were cleaning up the kitchen. Ordered a build your own bowl for take out. It is pretty similar to Cava, but worse. For the price paid, the portion is pretty small. There could have been more chicken as that was my main protein, but they used shredded chicken, and the portion is just not generous enough. The other issue was that the entire bowl was extremely salty. Perhaps I chose the wrong toppings, but it was nearly inedible and I had to get some of my own rice to add in to balance out the flavors. I also tried the chicken kabob plate and the portion was very underwhelming. The chicken was decent and well seasoned though. read more

My order at Luna Grill was a long and complicated one due to the quantity of meals purchased along with many of my family members opting for many omissions on these various dishes. I was helped by Alondra, whom was both patient in taking my order and also diligent in making every effort to get my order correct by reviewing every meal's stipulations before I completed my purchase. Every employee at Luna Grill is always polite, courteous, and efficient, but Alondra stood out even amongst the other quality employees present. As I waited for my meals, I was able to see Alondra serve other customers their meals, work the register, sweep the dinning room floor, and return to the food area several times after following the strictest of hygiene protocols. She washed her hands every single time that she returned to the food area. Although, this is the expected protocol that all restaurant employees are required to adhere to, it is rare to see employees actually washing their hands when returning to a food handling area after tending to the cash register or sweeping the dinning area of a food establishment. Luna Grill is truly lucky to have Alondra working and representing them at their Rancho Cucamonga location.
