Need to grab and go? Or sit at a big long wooden table inside or outside and meet some new people? This is a great place for either. Sometimes you don't want to be seated and served, you just want to grab something quick, or eat and run....Here's your lunch spot. We came in late in the day and many things were sold out. That's actually a good sign that they use fresh ingredients and when they're gone, there's no defrosting more. I opted for a 12 oz cup of Red Lentil Curry Soup. $7.95 and worth every spoonful. Made with Spinach, coconut milk, onion, tomatoes and garlic. Vegetarian and gluten free. I couldn't have made it so tasty at home, so it was a great choice. They proudly display the farms and ranches they buy from and all utensils, cups and bowls, etc are biodegradable. The young man who took our order was a great spokesperson for the whole farm to table, sustainable, low foot print message, and he had answers for all our questions. A really nice simple dining experience with delicious, healthy food. Made me feel great supporting this shop and the message they support. read more

For what it is, it seems to be almost like a "pop-up" lunch joint. It is more than that. All of the salads and bowls are quality and delicious. The only thing they can improve on is the air conditioning. Also, parking is a little competitive with Acre, the historical museum, and other retailers so close. I would return to sample other items. Kudos for opening a restaurant in Petaluma. It's not easy. read more

What a cute little place. I like the idea behind their grab and go salads. It's nice to have an easy way to grab a fresh lunch in a short amount of time. And their salads are so good! It's unfortunate, only because they are so good, that they're closed on weekends and only open from 10am-3pm. But for all the little offices and businesses downtown those are very prime hours for lunch. Love to see this little place thrive and look forward to trying more. read more

Had the warm kimchi bowl with smoked salmon. Heavenly and light. Small bench outside do sit in the sun. Would return in a heartbeat. Also staff are incredibly nice. Not local, but met a friendly local on the bench and got some great tips for the rest of my visit. read more

This is my new favorite lunch place and I will go out of my way to swing by for some of their tasty, healthy food. I especially like the quinoa, chicken, tahini kinds of dishes. The staff is friendly and efficient and seem to really love their product which is always nice. I find it really convenient that it's a door or two down from Acre coffee! Yum. read more

This place is right on. Fantastic food, great vibe, perfect location- especially those of us who work downtown. The asparagus, meyer lemon pizza & spring vegetable slaw were light, fresh & just delicious. There is nowhere else in town doing what Lunchette is doing. My new lunch spot! I was so impressed by this place, the salads all looked beautiful and fresh and the ingredients were so unique and intriguing. I felt like the prices were right on point with what you get and the portion was nicely sized and filling. I had the smoked trout salad which was perfect and my coworker had the steak and we both couldnt have been happier with our lunches. The location is great for the grab and go concept with a big parking lot almost across the street which is a reason I'll come here more often to grab food quickly. The gentlemen who range me up was upbeat and personable and I left with a great experience, can't wait to grab a salad next week. read more

Best restaurant in Petaluma by far! I have had their salads both at their location in town and at Taylor maid coffee by Whole Foods. Both were super fresh and tasty. The owner is super awesome and environmentally conscience with their all compostable packaging. Great kombucha too!!!! read more

Super fresh salad place in Petaluma is a cut above most grab and go, with a nice table in the sun outside to set down and munch in a good way. My choice had spinach, carmelized onion, picked cauliflower, baby lentils, toasted almonds, raisins, chicken and goat cheese with a preserved lemon vinaigrette. The flavors were light but flavorful, and delightfully varied. Great options for vegetarians or people enjoying a more paleo menu and gluten free. A definite breath of fresh air in town. read more

Lunchette is our new lunch stop for a grab-and-go healthy lunch - but you can also sit at the communal table or outside, too. Their salads and little pizza squares are incredible - the ingredients are fresh, not overloaded with a lot of onion/spice/garlic/peppers like most other places tend to do these days. You can taste all the ingredients perfectly. My favorite salad is the Farro with Harissa Chicken - lots of chicken pieces, tasty veg, yummy candied almonds - and I always ask to sub the regular dressing for their wonderful buttermilk herb dressing - once you have a taste of that, you will always want it! Hubby loves the Farro with Smoked Trout. Also their good sized pizza squares are not really Focaccia in the true Italian sense and not a "slice" but more like a flatbread pizza with very tasty and fresh toppings. I am totally impressed - $4-$4.50 gets you a nice square for lunch. They have 3 daily - the Margherita one seems to always be there and then they have two others that look like they change occasionally. The one I had today had a little tomato sauce, olives, caramelized onions, creamy goat cheese and basil - just the right amount of each ingredient. When you go into the cafe, the salads are all lined up on the left, there are specials on the board behind the counter and I wish...instead of all those t-shirts and stuff on the right, that they had a wall of desserts instead! read more

Love the food but disappointed with customer service. I've been there a handful of times. Often greeted by a friendly blond girl who is professional and friendly. I went in recently and waited in line to order my usual but the curly haired brunette decided to ring up another women who just finished picking out her salads before me. The salads are amazing! Beautifully to look at and wonderful to eat, bursting with flavor, texture and color. I learned to call my order in ahead of time if I want pizza because it disappears fast if you want a specific one (order by the slice)! My favorite is the Zoe's smoked prosciutto pizza but they are all good. They have daily specials that aren't on the menu as well. I JUST finished up a salad from Lunchette. I was very impressed! So refreshing on a hot day. I LOVED it and can't wait until I get a chance to go back. It was nice that it was pre-made; I could just pop in, grab the salad I wanted, pay and I was on my way (it was not busy when I went in). Super fast. My salad was farm greens, mustard vinaigrette, farro, apple, goat cheese, candied almonds and harissa-roasted chicken. Highly recommended. All the flavors and textures really blended well together, and was very balanced and fresh. It was also quite a large salad, so I felt satisfied at the end of my meal. I was disappointed in myself as I was walking out, as I saw another section of salads that I didn't notice when I walked in. Another reason to go back! However, I know I will be faced with the tough decision of trying something new, or get the same one again, since it was so yummy. ;) The salad was a little pricey, but as mentioned, it was big and there was a significant amount of chicken on it. I don't really want to pay that much for a salad, but I say it's totally worth it and I'd pay that much again. Probably not more than what salads go for at Whole Foods. read more
