Fried Seaweed Rolls - tempura deep fried seaweed rolls with rice inside. It had a nice chewy texture and lightly coated with the batter. There are 4 pieces with every order. Corn Cheese - The corn cheese was lightly sweetened with tons of melted cheese on top. Although I didn't try it, the dish could use less cheese so it's not overwhelming. Kimchi Fried Rice - By far one of my favorite dishes from the overall order. The kimchi flavor was nice and subtle. Not spicy or overpowering at all. The dish was topped with a fried soft centered egg and seaweed. There were green peas in it which reminded me of the standard fried rice dish. I would ask to remove it next time. I love coming here with a group of friends because the service is amazing, they have a great happy hour deal (buy one get one soju, and the quality isn't compromised despite high quantity. We ordered the tteokbeoki, fried chicken, bulgogi fries, and army stew. The chicken was extremely crunchy and was all meat! I love that the sauce comes on the side so we can adjust to our taste preference. When I last came to Cerritos it was for Yup Dduck but Luv Dduck is pretty much the same concept and probably better! Our rice cake dish we got mild and the food came out pretty quickly. We came here recently because my best friend and I kept getting, "hype," vids on IG about their "huge Katsu," and so we were really curious. We decided to come here on her birthday and this place lived up to its hype. I cannot stress the ambiance; you can't tell much from the outside because it's covered up and you have to sign in using a tablet. I saw this meal on TikTok and absolutely had to try it! We visited on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait, only about 3 other parties. We ordered the Luv DDuk bowl and added ramen and fried dumplings. Honestly, it was okay but not at all what I expected. The rice cakes and sauce had a sweetness to them that I was not expecting, I thought it was going to be a very savory dish. We weren't asked what spice level we wanted but whatever we were given wasn't very spicy, although we both have a high tolerance for spice. The dumplings were delicious and the ramen was a nice added touch to the dish. I think if I liked rice cakes more I would have enjoyed this meal more. There were also only 4 pieces of sausage and the boiled egg was grey in the middle (yuck). I'm afraid this was way overhyped. I also think it's quite overpriced. The bowl starts at almost $30 and if you add toppings it can really add up. Which is why we only added two items. I would have loved to try their bulgogi fries as well.
