I came here for dinner with a group of friends and my oh my... Everything was soooo yummy. First off, the staff is super friendly and frequently checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The servers with the meat popped by so quickly that we found ourselves unable to keep up with their pace! Much better than other places where I've had to wait forever for meat to come around, even when a request was placed. The salad/hot bar had a variety of yummy dishes, including some more traditional Brazilian fare as well as a variety of salads, veggies, charcuterie, etc. It was difficult to avoid just stuffing myself on these items (gotta save room for more meat)! They also gave yucca fries and some Brazilian cheese bread. Both came out fresh and hot. Both were SO addicting. Again, I had to try so hard to avoid pigging out on these. Out of all the meat that came around, I liked the original picanha the best. It was so tender and melted in my mouth. *drool* Unfortunately, due to a shortage, they didn't have any chicken hearts that day :( Maybe next time! And finally to wrap things up, the grilled pineapple... Wow. I'm not even a fan of pineapple. But this pineapple just hit different. It works as a nice palate cleanser but is also a nice dessert if you don't feel like dishing out extra money on an actual dessert haha. Just celebrated my son's b-day for a party of 19 during the Valentine's day weekend rush and amazed by the attentive level of service our table received last night despite a very full & busy night. Had an issue with the bill since I got a large party package that included the drinks but the server forgot to credit the drinks. But with one phone call, the GM immediately fixed the issue within minutes & called me back to let me know that they credited my credit card. No complaints here! Most of my guests were 1st timers and they enjoyed the experience. M Grill is by far the best Brazilian Churrascaria in the area and I've been to all of them from OC to L.A. Oh my goodness this place is phenomenal, but you already knew that. I've been wanting to try this place for the last few years now but there was always something that came up making it so that I couldn't try out the place. Finally, I was able to make a reservation and try out the place with my family. All I can say is Wow. Everything you've heard about this place is true. Yes the servers bring over the meats to you. Yes the meats are absolutely scrumptious. It literally melts in your mouth. Personally, I'm a very big fan of picanha and steak so if you enjoy those types of meats as well, I'm 100% confident that you'll love it. Even the pineapple is divine! Additionally, they have a salad bar on the side with all different sorts of sides you can add! I would definitely recommend not to load up on the salad bar since you should definitely be eating more meat in order to get your moneys worth, but honestly even the foods provided in the salad bar are so so good. The only downside would be how expensive this place is. The 3 of us ordered one cocktail each with our meals and the bill was essentially $100 per person.. Which is honestly quite a steep price, but it was definitely worth the experience as well as the high quality food. 100% recommend this place - I think it'd be great for a birthday dinner with friends, or for a date, but it's definitely an upscale, nice restaurant that's incredibly enjoyable. Better then fogo de chao! Entrance is kind of odd, through a parking lot, upstairs. Went of a weekday 7:30pm with no reservation and got seated right away. Wine selection had a great selection for every budget. The buffet had great selections all looked fresh and kept getting filled. The service was great! Unlike most Brazilian bbqs they didn't all rush over immediately and try to get stuffed with the cheap stuff. They where always around with every cut of meat. They where also prompt on meat requests. None of the meats where over salted and all tasted premium. Definitely a must go for Brazilian bbq lovers. Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine cost $250. read more

I cannot believe I have never wrote a review about this place. I've been coming to this place since it was half the size! Who remembers that? that was ages ago! Ironically, I think it was Yelp that led me to this place almost a decade ago? This is exactly the place where I had a dream that all Brazillian churrascaria restaurants should have the gauchos out in costume (cow, pig, chickens, etc) and you get the meat from where it's from. You want rump roast, you get it from it's butt. hahaha. I realize it's a good joke but I'm probably not going to be picking meat from a butt costume, ha!. Anyway, like I said, when I first started coming here this place was half the size with the crowds swelling the hallway, so reservations are suggested. The food is amazing, I know not everyone is going to like this place as they've their favorite like Fogo, but service is top notch. Food is top notch. I get asked multiple times by staff if I have any requests and it comes right out when it's ready. Never ate desert here but one day I'll try it when I'm not stuffed with meat! Okay, one quirk. Parking is paid valet or self. I just pay the $4 bucks to park my own car as it is a large parking lot and I can get to my car faster than the valet's do. It's preference. made reservations on opentable for saturday! rezzy's open a week in advance only, and i'd recommend booking asap if you plan on going on a weekend since friday/sat books up pretty fast. got there and they had $4 valet parking! you'll then have to head to the 2nd floor of the building. in terms of the food, everything was pretty good including the hot bar which had a decent variety. i would say this place isn't amazing, but def a tad better than fogo (not sure which one is more $$ tho). this place also did have better service than fogo - the servers were super attentive and made sure we had all the meats we wanted multiple times. the one food item that i did think was AMAZING was the grilled pineapple. it was grilled to perfection and had the perf amount of sugar and cinnamon. we ordered like five pieces each toward the end. overall, would recommend this place over fogo but only bc i haven't been to a brazilian bbq place that's blown my mind in socal. read more

The manager blatantly gave away our table in front of us. We've been coming to M Grill for years and have always enjoyed our dinners here, however this time the manager really left a really sour mark for us. We made reservations for a Party of 5 for 5:30 on 8/23/19 to celebrate a casual family birthday dinner. We were running late and left a message before they opened to see if there was a space at 6:30 instead. Their online reservations showed a 7:30 so we changed it out of courtesy as we did not know if we would make the earlier time. Our party arrived at 6:30 and informed the host (male) of our reservation time and to see if a table would be available earlier, our plan was to leave and come back if not. He checked and informed us that he would be able to seat us in about 20 mins or less as there was a table for us, great news so we waited. Most of the parties that came were seated quickly as they had reservations - we were the only group waiting. Then two guys came in and walked up to the manager and the manager greeted one of them very familiarly, shook his hand and said 'two tonight?' in which the guy said there was three and the manager said 'I have a table open and can seat you.' He leaves to seat them, it was obvious he was not expecting them and they didn't have a reservation. A female host came to the front desk and when the manager came back, we heard her ask him (tall blonde guy) 'table # is open, let's seat them there' only to hear him respond 'I sat a group there'. The look on her face said it all, she was stuck and couldn't say anything. We watched and heard it all unfold, not one person came to update us. I understand though, what can one say at that point? 'My manager put me in a bad position' or 'my manager gave your table away'? If the manager came out and said anything at that point it would have been ok but he didn't. We were with family so we didn't make a fuss especially since it was supposed to be celebratory. We ended up being seated around 7:15 so we basically waited the whole time until our reservation. The original host guy was there when we were walked in and he was sincerely so apologetic, he knew as we knew that was wrong. He had to apologize for his manager. That's very unfortunate. Our server and the rest of the staff were friendly and offered excellent service as they've always have, and the food was still consistently good. Picanha, beef ribs, and the pineapple are always our favs. They had a special aged wagu beef offering that night but it was chewy and not right - perhaps we had a bad batch. Delicious upscale brazilian bbq located in the heart of koreatown. Changes since covid closure is that all the workers wear masks and require you to wear a mask only when you get up to the salad bar! Food is still delicious and its super easy to make a reservation via yelp page. Friendly servers and super attentive staff. I absolutely LOVE their bread, hot sauce, and the pineapple!!!! Of course the meats are bomb as well, there are certain meats that they don't always walk around offering but will be made to order (rack of lambs, chicken hearts, filet mignon). This was the first time we have been to M Grill and the service was amazing and better than I would have expected. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy. Usually the first thing that is sacrificed is service but this was not the case. We sat near the kitchen and were presented with multiple items. It was a constant stream of refills for the salad bar. They served fried polenta fries along with Brazilian cheese bread. Condiments were also served that definitely complimented the meat being served. Details like our cards dropping, light going dim and replacement of plates were little things they paid attention to but made it obvious they were on it. Marcus was one of the individuals that helped us that evening and I before we could ask for things he was there with what we needed. As for the food, the garlic picanna was the best! Dip the cheese bread in the chimichuri sauce! The attire of other restaurant goers varied. Delicious!! I have been hooked on M Grill for the last 6 months and have been here multiple times. M Grill never disappoints me. M Grill is a Brazilian AYCE where the meat is brought over to you and you can choose to say "yes" or "no" depending on your preference. And, trust me, you will be saying "yes" to a lot more than you think. M Grill is located in a tiny strip mall. It's very hard to miss the parking entrance, but they do have a bigger sign that helps you find it. Parking is valet ($4). M Grill is located on the second floor of the main building. Make sure to make reservations as it gets very crowded here on weekends. It's almost impossible to get a walk in table as the place is relatively small. I love the décor of the inside. It's a little dark but has great windows and great vibes. Once you get seated, you can start eating!! There is a small buffet area for veggies, salads, cured meats, etc. I normally pass on those just so I can have room for meats. I do however, LOVE the salsa there so I normally go through a few bowls of the salsa with my meat. The meats come by pretty regularly. My favorites are the house special, top sirloin, rib eye, filet mignon, and garlic beef. They also have chicken and lamb. They also had shrimp during DineLA which I took a few of and I LOVED it. I am very sad that was a DineLA specific item. But, all the meats are great quality and has a melt in your mouth quality to them. Most of them are also cooked to perfection. At the end, I normally top off my meal with pineapple. AMAZING. I also want to mention how great the service is here. I recently went to Fogo for DineLA and the servers were very rude and when I requested a meat they rolled their eyes. And, it took forever for them to bring out the said requested meat. At M Grill, if I pass on a few meats, the servers or the servers with the meat will ask if I have any special requests. And, if I request the meat, I will be one of the first people to receive the requested meat. Also, when I came here for DineLA, my mom requested well done meat and the waiters kept bringing out well done meat after meat. (My mom loved it). Overall, if you are thinking of going to Fogo, come to M Grill instead, where the ambiance is nicer, the servers are nicer, and the food is better. read more

Awesome service and awesome food! I've been to a couple Brazilian steakhouses and I love the variety of meats. Probably the best Brazilian steakhouse I've been to (even topping Fogo ) Something we've never seen but loved was the grilled pineapple!! Perfect palate cleanser in between meats and especially good if you got it fresh and hot straight out of the kitchen. Just their salad bar alone was a full meal, so many salad, sauce, and cheese choices. Pro tip: use the chimchurri sauce from the salad bar to complement the meats! I don't think I've seen another Brazilian steakhouse that offers this and it's a total game changer! And have some tomatoes or something acidic on the side to cut through the fat when you're eating in between meats read more

I stopped by around last seating for lunch yesterday around 1:50PM for DineLA. It's about a $5 discount for lunch, dropping the price from $30 to $25. With a reservation ( and being close to final seating) it was quick to be seated. The manager stopped by to welcome us and let us know if we needed anything from the menu that was The salad bar has a few highlights, but is actually a bit smaller than Fogo. The best things at the salad bar are definitely the beans(which I normally don't like, but they tasted great), the smoked salmon, the creamed corn, the delicious bacon, and the chimichurri. Remember to grab some pickled onions / pickled peppers to give yourself some acid to cut the fat/eat more meat. One of the items that was missing at the salad bar, which I was really looking forward to, was the Tuna Poke. What happened? Once you turn that green card on, it's a meat tornado! Top items: Chicken Heart -- Really robust flavor. You get a lot of the essence of the chicken in a small piece. It's got a nice bouncy texture without getting too rubbery. The grill did it justice and got rid of some of the gamey-ness. Pamesan Picanha -- A flavorful Umami burst from the parmesan and well seasoned. The first piece I had was spectacular, very juicy, and had not over cooked. Some of the pieces after were hit and miss -- mostly overcooked. Bottom Sirloin -- a change up in texture. It is sliced on the edges and is more tender and beefier. Garlic Picanha -- Hit and miss. Some pieces are dry, some arent. Decent amount of garlic taste. The slice is a little too big some times. Cinnamon Pineapple - Awesome! Bottom items: Chicken -- mostly dry. The bacon helped keep it a little moist. Parmesan had great flavor but got dry. Would be cool to have bacon parmesan chicken. Pork Ribs- Not particularly tender, but packed with smoky flavor from the grill. Positive Notes: The meat might take a slight edge over Fogo. Also, the meat is coming around - with a bit more variety, than Fogo. Negative Notes: My girlfriend cannot eat beef, so I let one of the Passadores (the servers) know and asked to bring more non-beef items. They stopped by with the leg of lamb once and the ribs once. There was a bit of an empty promise of coming back with non-beef items. Nearing the end of the meal, since they were doing last calls, they asked a few times if we wanted anything else before they close up. I asked for sausages - but they never came. I asked for pineapple, but they never came either. It felt like I was getting lip service and promises but it was not followed through. I'd rather them not give me lip service and say they're out rather than put a false promise. That is one thing that I appreciate about Fogo -- they will come if you ask. Overall, I'd probably give this place another try. Great food -- somewhat good service. Salad bar isn't the best, but is not bad. Feels like there are some false promises on items coming around but not followed through. read more

Nor sure what Im not following here, there is no profanities nor degradation. Yelp, give me a break. Ok food nothing to brag home about, now usually the service makes up for the quality of the food, but in this case unfortunately, the service brought down whatever good quality the food may have been. I frequent Brazilian rodizios in every city I find myself in, so decided to give this place a taste, after having been to fogo de chao several times. Came in at 8:45 for my reservation, were sat down at 9:15 and out the door by 10:15, rather fast for a rodizio, they just wanted us out of there.. asked for desert, was told they ran out, asked for coffee, was told the same story. Again, for such a pricey joint, seriously?? I'm honestly torn about how many stars to give. Food: 7/5 Service: 1.5/5 My husband and I came by for dineLA for the first time and every cut is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The grilled pineapple is to die for. Service- the gauchos are great! However, the service otherwise is pretty awful. We had requested the garlic picanha 4 times within an hour because it was never brought out to us. Additionally, our table was completely ignored once the tables next to us were seated, to the point where we've waited 40 min for the check and our server essentially went MIA. It's not Texas De Brazil, but, as churrascaria, Brazilian roasteries of meat, go, it's far better than Fogo De Chāo in the "eat roasted wonderfulness until you pop-like-a-tick" upscale meatery category. Service was five star. The meat was wonderful. Their cold table is not as well decked out as Texas De Brazil, and their bar puts a lot of ice in the caipirinha which means less product, for the high price tag. That, and the cold bar at TDB prices are the star down. Great place to celebrate. read more

Came here with my parents to treat them for dinner. If you're a big fan of meat/steak, and if you can eat a lot of it then I think it's worth it. However, we did not have the best experience. There were a lot of different meat options from chicken thigh, rib eye, lamb, Brazilian steak, etc and the service was pretty good. They came around to our table frequently, and we were able to try all the different types of meat. However, I didn't really like that the meat was all cold, especially as they were going around the tables. The salad buffet was mediocre, and I didn't like how all the vegetables were pre-made with the salad dressing. The hot food was also too salty for our likings. The price for around $65 per person is definitely reasonable for all-you-can-eat meat. Overall, it was a one-time good experience, but I'm not sure if we'll be coming back again. read more

Came back here a couple times since the pandemic and still have to say. It's amazing! The quality is still amazing and I love that they have these weekly specials/events. I went on the 3rd Thursday on the month and they had a complimentary wine tasting. It was a great way to showcase the different wines that they have and give you a chance to try before you decide to buy. Their Costella and rack of lamb will always be my favorite. I've been wanting to come here forever, so my husband and I finally gave it a try during DineLA. The price difference coming on a regular day isn't that huge of a difference, but we decided to give it a go anyways. Being, somewhat regulars at Fogo de Chao, we were excited to try M Grill. Made a reservation for 8:30 p.m. on a Friday night, paid about 4 bucks for valet, waited 5 minutes and ta da we were seated. Our waitress was knowledgable and kind, and she could tell we were ready to be showered in meat. It started off pretty smoothly, however we noticed we kept getting served their house special Picanha, which at first, being that we were hungry was fine, but then we started getting bored of the house special and wanted to try the other cuts. As we noticed there weren't many guacho's coming our way, we were wondering what was going on, one kind guacho came over and asked us if there was anything specific we wanted to try. We gave him our list, and he came through! Right away, we were served with a variety of meats that we highly anticipated. It seems like the lack of guachos might've been a shift change or something like that in the kitchen, but when it was fixed, everything was great! read more

M Grill is one of the best AYCE Brazilian BBQ places I know of and it's conveniently located in the heart of ktown! Try to make a reservation through Yelp because they rarely answer the phones. The hostesses aren't the friendliest and you'll probably end up waiting for at least 10 minutes even if you have a reservation and are on time with everyone in your party available to go in and sit. Putting all the negativity aside, M Grill is definitely worth going to. They have a variety of meat choices and their salad bar is amazing. Best creamed corn ever!! Just be careful not to stuff yourself at the salad bar or with the hot cheese balls they give you in the beginning so you have plenty of room for the meat!! The ribeye is absolutely delicious and is one of my favorite meats here in addition to the grilled pineapple. I'm not a huge fan of pineapple, but the grilled pineapple here is a must try! It may seem a little pricey considering you can eat AYCE Korean BBQ for way less, but this isn't a place you'll want to go to every week so it's worth spending the extra $$'s. $59 for dinner, $32 for lunch (only on weekdays) It's totally worth it for the experience and the amazing quality of food you get. We went for DineLA 7/2019. $59/person for dinner - their dinner buffet plus extras- grilled shrimp & wagyu picahna. I thought the food & experience was just ok. 1) The decor of the place was cool. Didn't expect it to look so classy in the middle of Ktown 2) Valet in the back lot was useful & inexpensive $4. 3) Food was ok. There were certain things at the salad bar that was delicious - fried plaintains, kale salad, cream of corn. But others were mediocre. The meat was just ok. Everything was on the salty side. I think I only really liked one of their meats. Their specialty picanha was way too salty... kind of disappointing. 4) I really didn't like the rotation of the meats during dinner. Some meats like the bottom sirloin came around like 10x while we dined vs. their picanha only made it to our table once. I felt the rotation of meat was very uneven. 5) Service was ok. Some of the servers were nicer than others. Some got irritated bc we didn't hold on to the meat properly while they were cutting. Overall it was ok but not amazing. I'm 50/50 on coming back & willing to try it again if someone wanted to go. read more
