The plate came with rice, cumin powder, chili oil and pickled veggies. I really enjoyed their lamb. The ribs were soft and fatty and the shank was just fork tender. Went there before open and tried the rib and lamb shank in both the braised and grilled version. BOTH were delicious but I preferred the braised as I like it fatty and the melt-in-your-mouth texture. The rice and slaw complimented the lamb very well. We also tried skewers and milk tea. The milk tea is low key underrated and went well with the meal. A restaurant that specializes in lamb?? SAY LESS. We ordered the lamb shank/rib combo and 4 grilled ribs. This was the perfect amount of food for two people. Like others have mentioned, the food looks pretty unassuming and basic from the photos, but it's actually quite the opposite. The lamb meat was so juicy, tender, and fatty (but not in a gross way). The rice is cooked from the juices of the meat (sort of like how hainan chicken rice is cooked), so even though it looks plain, it's full of flavor and goes very well with the meat. The pickled carrots and onions also helped to cut the heaviness and you can ask for a refill of the sides. The restaurant itself is very small, they only have seats for 14 people, so if you are going with a large group, be prepared to wait. While dining, I also saw that they were cranking out a ton of to-go orders, so I guess it is very popular with the locals.
