My 2025 Toyotal Cammry was hit from behind and I had it towed to Mac Haik Ford. Mac had my car for 3 entire months and charged the insurance company $25K to fix it (the max the insurance would cover). I observed several cosmetic flaws that I returned to have addressed and they did not fix them to my satisfaction (i.e. trunk would not close properly, missing housing unit protecting the lights under the trunk hood, missing paint spots, etc...). I finally drove the car away swearing I would never use Mac Haik again. I send dozens of emails and tried to contact management about the issues, but they never returned my calls. Then the real problems started.... 2 weeks later I was hit again in the same area and this time brought the car to Toyota to repair. They took 1 look at the Mac Haik repair job and refused to fix my car! They pointed out numerous flaws in workmanship and standards. They told me not to drive the car for safety reasons. They recommended I take the car back to Mac Haik for repair of the repairs. As proof of their position, they drafted me a letter stating the previous repairs were not done correctly. I had no choice but to have the car towed BACK to Mac Haik to fix the old botched repair job as well as the damaged caused by this recent accident. This time, I reached out to the corporate office and tried to find the right people to complain too. As of this writing, I have heard nothing back from them! Do NOT take your car to Mac Haik Ford (the others may be okay, I don't know, but not Mac Haik Ford)! If you have a problem with the workmanship, they will not answer your calls or return your emails. Take your care ANYWHERE ELSE! You have been warned!

Both sides of the underbody panel hanging when car was returned to me. I requested for everything on my car to be fixed.

If I could rate 0 stars I absolutely would. Not only was the vehicle service poor, but the customer service was even worse. Car problems are already frustrating, but even more so when the "experts" can't even do the job right. I needed my entire transmission replaced. The day after getting my car back my car began smoking and stopped on me and had to be towed back to the dealership. The service advisor then informed me that the technician who worked on my car failed to complete his job, leaving my headlights disconnected as well as missed steps with the transmission itself which caused my car to overheat and stop on me that next day. Furthermore, the service advisor Cyrus then asked of me to leave him out of the technicians mistakes when I write my review.... Bold of him to assume his customer service wasn't also poor. Now, the second time my car was given back to me, these underbody flaps were now hanging. Why not just fix it then when you had my car considering I stated twice since the beginning that I want everything wrong with my car to be fixed? Overall, this experience has been tedious and long drawn out with the needs barely even being met even weeks later.

then only sent 2/8 and 3/8 of diagnostics, which only shows electrical issues.

I came to Mac Haik Ford intending to test drive a Mustang Mach-E, but I was told it was unavailable. The experience left me uncomfortable because I did not feel I received a clear explanation. I also had concerns about communication and transparency involving my Explorer service situation. I recommend getting everything in writing before making any service, purchase, or trade-in decision.

Some things didn't add up, so I started looking around for a local mechanic to get a second opinion. I came upon Upland Car Pros and saw only 5 start reviews on Yelp, which is rare, and 4.9 on Google, so something was worth checking out. Their webpage is very simple with their phone number, address, and hours. No advertising for themselves even on their own webpage. They let their reviews and referrals do the talking. I talked to Ramon about what the dealer told me, and he immediately said something wasn't right, because of the two parts quoted, it didn't make sense to replace the second item, because its performance was dependent on the first item. He explained to me how the different parts interacted and how they would have to check them in order to see if it addressed the issue before moving to the next part. He gave me an option that would be low cost but could get things cooling again, but might not actually fix the problem if it's elsewhere. He also gave me another option that was a bit more but if there were other issues like leaks, it would help with locating them, and it is something that would have to be done if the low cost option didn't work. So I opted for the higher cost option, playing the long game. Ramon and his father, Robert, checked things out and determined that the first part that the dealer quoted did, in fact, need to be replaced, which they were able to do for a third of what the dealership quoted. After that was replaced, the AC was blowing cold, but then it would warm up again. Robert determined that there was an obstruction in the system, but knew that the compressor was functioning properly due to the pressure and temp readings in the high and low pressure sides. He replaced the expansion valve, now the system is running perfectly. Total cost of parts and labor was $950. This is even more significant, because had I done what the dealer recommended, a) it would NOT have fixed the problem, b) I would have paid to have a perfectly good part replaced, and c) I would still have had to have the expansion valve replaced. Ramon and Robert did systematic troubleshooting, were able to determine the root cause of the problem, and fixed it. They looked over the rest of the car and said that everything else looked like it was in good shape and said the only thing they might recommend would be to flush and replace the various fluids, but he also said I should go through my records to determine when they were last replaced so that I know which ones are due and which ones can wait. This is the type of collaborative relationship that everyone should expect from whoever is maintaining your vehicle, and Ramon and Robert deliver. They have the right attitude in that if they do their job honestly, then you'll trust them and keep coming back to them when the need arises. They've definitely earned my business.

Honestly, I was skeptical at first as a woman, I've experienced shops overcharging, being dishonest, or doing a mediocre job. From the moment I walked in, Frank greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. The store and garage were both clean and well-organized, which immediately gave me confidence. He explained each step of the process, the expected timeline, and even offered me coffee. About 45 minutes into the alignment, Frank called me over to let me know that because of the prior work done on my SUV, some issues needed to be fixed before he could properly complete the alignment. Instead of being frustrated about the lost time, he remained kind, professional, and patient the same way he had treated me when I first walked in. The next day, after I had the issues fixed, I brought my car back. Frank completed the alignment, test-drove it himself, and only then handed it back to me. His honesty, respect, and attention to detail really stood out. **Ladies if you're skeptical about bringing your vehicle into a shop, don't be. Frank is a true gentleman. He was not rough, rude, or dismissive in any way. Just like the sign in the shop says: "We do it right." Axis Auto Repair truly lived up to that promise, and I left more than impressed.

This morning I had a tire issue, so I decided to try them for more than gasoline. They have a full-service car repair space located directly onsite, so I figured they could help with my tire. Sure enough, I had a roofing nail lodged in my front left tire. The attendant was wonderful and fast. He patched my tire for $20 and I was on my way. I appreciate the location of this service/gas station especially this morning when I was heading to work. If I had to go anywhere else, I would have been late. It's not a huge issue if I am late, but I really hate being late... it's just a thing with me. This is where my 5 stars really ring out. Because I was able to get in and out fast, because the attendant was so nice and because I feel it was a very fair price, I rate this service station 5 stars. I don't know how to do these things myself, so I panic a little when my tire light comes on in my car. Peace of mind is huge. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name this morning. If he reads this review, thank you! Don't forget to tip your service people for doing things you can't do or don't want to do. I have a maintenance package on my vehicle right now through my dealership, but after that expires, this place will have my business. I really love their almost old fashion standard of business. I feel like I can trust this place.
