I was pleasantly surprised here. I had heard mixed reviews so I didn't have high expectations. I went with a group of 6 friends. We were seated in a nice corner booth with plenty of room The room had a large party also so it was a bit loud. My friends all enjoyed their cocktails. Lol none for me as I was driving. The food was very good. The presentation was beautiful! My salad had nice fresh lettuce with several slices of citrus, nuts and burrata. I also enjoyed the lobster bisque. It was flavorful and had bits of lobster. Two of us had chicken parm and pasta which was hugh. Both took 1/2 home. They both enjoyed it The Brussels sprouts and apples was also tasty. One of my friends had the pasta carbonara which was more like caci Di peppi. It didn't have a lot of pancetta. The gelato was yummy. It came with three big scoops-chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. We had 2 servers-a man and a woman. The woman was very nice. The man rushed us for the minute we sat down. He didn't give any time to look at the menu before asking if we were ready to order. While we were eating dessert, he told us people were waiting for the table. It's not the place to go if you want to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal with friends. Street parking is available but it was pretty full. People park in the shopping center next door but two of the hostesses said they do ticket and tow cars. One told me it was in to park in funeral home or school across the street.

Macaroni's has that warm, classic Philly Italian vibe that makes you settle in right away. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and it was really good, rich and flavorful. I just wished it had a bit more lobster to really elevate it. Even an option to add extra lobster or a tail would take it from great to exceptional. 8/10. My friend had the pasta bolognese with mafaldine noodles, hearty, well-seasoned, and comforting. Another 8/10 dish. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was such a kind, attentive gentleman and really added to the experience. Overall, Macaroni's delivers quality Italian food, a cozy atmosphere, and genuinely great service. I'd definitely return, especially if they let me pile on more lobster next time.

Macaroni's is a gem, their menu has an excellent choice from appetizers to their Main course and delicious cheesecake for dessert! Can't miss when you go there? The staff is always attentive and the Ambiance is relaxing!

First time at Macaroni's and I thought I walked into an NYC restaurant. The decor and ambiance was top notch and I can see why it's so popular during the dinner hour. The food was excellent and the crème brûlée cake sealed the deal. After dinner, we stepped out into the lounge and continued our night there. It was a good time and I would come back to try the pizza. Service from Vinny was great!

Server Jill made the best drinks. Food was delicious. This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back!! This is a must try!!! Ambiance is amazing!!

After having Macaroni's on my list for such a long time, I'm so glad I finally made it there. I was so excited to have found such a gem in the northeast area of Philly! Macaroni's definitely gives a center city high end vibe but in such an accessible location for this area of the city. The ambiance inside is impeccable, it feels very moody and private. But the star of the show was definitely the Lobster Ravioli that I tried - it was probably one of the best ones I've had. The sauce on the plate particularly was so good! The service was a little slow but it wasn't a bother honestly, we can all use a little slower dinner time sometimes. The staff was great and very nice though.

A small-looking place on the outside opens up to a large and versatile space on the inside. There are seating options from the dining room (more formal), restaurant, indoor bar, outdoor bar, and outdoor tables. We only encountered the nicest, most helpful, and knowledgeable staff while we were here. We came for lunch and sat at the outdoor bar, (which because of the season was more indoor, but has floor to ceiling windows which made us stil feel like we were outside. Sean took care of us and he was amazing. We would love to come back and have him again! He recommended some great food and drink options, which we had to try them all! Our food was amazing, and going at lunch time gave us the highest quality food for lunchtime prices. We had so many amazing things, the only thing we didn't have was dessert but we took their famous Crème Brûlée Cake to go so we will be trying that and reporting back! Do not drive by this place without stopping in! You have to experience the fantastic Italian food coming out of this restaurant!

I have dreams about this place I love the food so much. This place actually can't eat calamari anywhere else after having it here. Everything is delicious! Drinks on point. The only down side is the location is a little out the way- but so worth the ride. Yum yum yum!!

Found this restaurant online. We went there for my wife's birthday. A wonderful experience all the way around. We sat in the inside dining area. We loved the atmosphere of the whole area there. The dim lights. The small light at the table. The table setting. All added to this experience. Tony was an excellent server. Thank you. We started out with the eggplant stack. What an appetizer. Absolutely delicious!! For dinner, I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and my wife ordered the Chicken Parm. WOW! It just kept getting better. For dessert, we shared the Crème Brûlée cake that was a suggestion from our server. A perfect end to a perfect meal. Our compliments to the Chef for everything. We look forward to another visit in the future. We can't wait to try some other options on the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant. From drinks and appetizers, to dessert, you will not be disappointed.

    The best steak in Philly.

I actually celebrated my birthday here last year and this place is always a hit, never a miss! We started with the cucumber and tomato salad and the country bread, and what a delicious combination! We also ordered a side of olive oil, and they seriously have some of the best olive oil I've had in a while. I definitely recommend getting some on the side to dip your country bread in. Trust me! We paired everything with a pitcher of sangria, which gives you about four drinks and was much more economical than ordering individual cocktails. I finally tried the chicken Parmesan, and boy, am I kicking myself for not trying it sooner! The chicken breast was thick, juicy, moist, and perfectly crunchy. Some places make their chicken Parm so thin that it barely feels like you're eating chicken, but this was an actual substantial piece of chicken with the perfect bite. Our waitress told me I could swap out the pasta and sauce that normally come with the chicken Parmesan, so of course I did! I got the rigatoni with vodka sauce, and it was DELIGHTFUL. The portion was massive, so I took leftovers home and yes, I absolutely ate them the very next day! My fiancé got the branzino and wanted something lighter so he could help me with the rigatoni. His plate was beautifully presented, the fish tasted incredibly fresh, and it was exactly what he wanted. Overall, we had another wonderful experience. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back! A special shoutout to our waitress, who was absolutely delightful and told me I could change the pasta and sauce with my chicken Parmesan. You changed my life! You have no idea how happy you made me. I wish I had gotten your name, but truly, everyone there is always so lovely. Thank you for another amazing experience!

The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Everything was as perfect as it could be why is that because this restaurants been doing it for over 126 years they know a thing or two their customers and had to prepare plate delicious meals. Surprise surprise we actually found parking OK maybe that's because we got there earlier than our reservation in hopes to make another stop that didn't work out so we came early and they greeted us with open arms took us to a beautiful table in front of vintage fireplace hence we were sitting in the perfect spot. Our server, Justin came over to greet us. We got into some conversation before we even touched upon the food. He was exceptional at his run through the menu, his explanations on preparations handling questions. This was definitely not his first, not his second and not his third rodeo he's definitely a professional at what he does. Upon review of the menu we started off with steamed clams and a spicy marinara and actually asked for fra Diavlo hence they gave it an additional hit of spice. It had a nice kick. It was very tasty. My wife was going back-and-forth between their signature lasagna and a little weak weenie with crab Bianco and in the end she went with the baked lasagna oh my goodness the size of that piece on the plate we took half home. She certainly enjoyed her. For me, I went with the veal Catherine, the medallions veal with shrimp, lump crab meat, and fresh tomato and a Bianco sauce the plating presentation I can't describe you'll just have to see my photograph. I've never seen it like this before and it was extremely tasty. Very tender I would certainly get that dish again. And since I am not a pasta eater, I ordered a side vegetable of broccoli Rob. And we ordered a bottle of the Italian Montepuliciano wine, what was the perfect compliment to our dinner? And this was my birthday. My wife was surprising me she had already pre-ordered their homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers, which would wind up taking with us cause we were kind of full and had later that night at one of our favorite coffee houses in Philly and boy that dessert was perfect and I'm glad we waited. Again, everybody was smiles, friendly, and helpful. The place of spotless and you really feel like you're in someone's home. I was so excited to try the sweet potato gnocchi that I had seen on socials, but it was no where to be found on the menu. When our server came to tell us the specials, she announced the sweet potato gnocchi and I was sold. We decided to start with the burrata, which paired well with the roasted garlic and bread. My sweet potato gnocchi was served in a decadent cream sauce. The gnocchi itself was very dense, almost a harder consistency. My sister in law got the regular ricotta gnocchi and it was pillowy and light, a completely different texture than mine. I still enjoyed mine, I just wish it could have been a little softer. We shared the cheesecake for dessert, and it was fine. Not memorable, but good. My sister in law got the creme brûlée and THAT was good. I regretted not getting that instead. Another person we were dining with got the pork chop and it was phenomenal. I wished I had gotten it, it was THAT good. For this experience, the ambience, location, and everything else considered I'd give it 3.5 stars.

It was actually a birthday dinner too, Maria and Mariangeli were treating Chef Dionicio and me for our birthdays, so we were already looking forward to a good night, and Fiorella definitely delivered. We sat outside and honestly, that might be the way to do it. Really nice setup, relaxed South Philly atmosphere, good drinks on the table, good food coming out, and you're just hanging out with friends. Nothing felt rushed. We ordered a bunch of things to share and try. The arancini were great, and the pork belly & octopus skewer was probably one of the more interesting things we had. I wouldn't normally think of putting those two together, but it worked. Then the pasta came out. The ravioli with lamb, peperonata and caciocavallo was really good, and the rigatoni with Fiorella sausage ragu was one of those dishes where you keep going back for another bite even though you're already getting full. And don't sleep on the focaccia and olive oil either. Simple, but so good. We definitely weren't letting that go to waste. Drinks were great too. They have some interesting cocktails instead of just the same stuff you see everywhere, which I appreciated. The staff also deserves a shoutout. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but they gave us space to enjoy ourselves. That's a big thing for me. When you're having dinner with friends, you don't want to feel like you're being pushed through the meal so they can flip the table. By the end of the night, it wasn't even just about the food anymore. We were outside in South Philly, eating some really good Italian food, having drinks, laughing, celebrating two birthdays and just enjoying each other's company. Those are the dinners you remember. I could go eat it every day. My mom had the $24 Tonnarelli and it was also top tier excellent. The flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, everything here is top notch. The Internet did not let me down. I'm so glad I decided to book this restaurant. I had a wonderful night.
