This place was definitely a good find for a quick and delicious breakfast. We got the Irish Breakfast (which is ginormous so be careful if you're not THAT hungry) and the two eggs breakfast. I'd say if you don't like your eggs runny to order over medium instead of over easy because mine were a little runny. Besides that the coffee was delicious and service was excellent!! Everyone that works there is Irish, so you know you're getting an authentic Irish breakfast. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because parking is not ideal there. Used to love this place but they really went downhill. Just ordered breakfast from there I asked to substitute toast for fruit and they charged me an extra 7 dollars? What a great take last evening! All four of us ordered different entrees and we were all delighted with our choices! I've lived in the area for about a year now and breakfast is my favorite, have driven past it a few times so I figured why not try it out? It was last Monday around noon, so there were only a couple of tables of people, a few at the bar, we were seated immediately by our server who was nice and polite young man. He let us know what all the specials were and got us coffee, it was good! My boyfriend got one of the specials, the chili cheese omelette; he loved it! Right up his alley, with what appeared to be homemade chili! I got the mad hatter omelette and it was wicked good, I ate every last bite! If you love Breakfast and great customer service Madhatter is your type of place. Ownership not only knows how to cook but is interested in making sure your experience is one in which you want not. The veggie omelette is stuffed with mushrooms peppers and onions and oozing with cheese. The soda bread is excellent. We feel Madhatter's breakfast is a great value and we are always made to feel like we are the only customers in the place even when they are jammed. First time trying out Mad Hatter. Nice layout, super excited to see what all the fuss was about. Waitress/employee was super kind BUT was a bit disappointed when it was buffet style breakfast. She explained that it's because of how busy they are on Sundays. We decided to try out the buffet style anyways and the food wasn't even hot, it was barely warm. If you come to this restaurant on a weekend after 9am and complain about the long wait, I'm sorry, but that is your own fault. This little restaurant - and I do mean little; it has fewer than 10 tables - serves the best full Irish breakfast I have ever had. They do black and white pudding served proper with Heinz beans, real rashers of bacon, and Irish sausage that will convert any vegetarian. Their food tastes like home. read more

I personally don't think this place is that good I had take out from them and it was not good I was told that it would be 20 min to pick up. When I got there 25 min later is still had to wait another 15 min for my order. Just went there today to try and sit down and was told the wait was 20 min an hour later I still had not been seated. Visiting from Florida and found this place on our way to Boston. Literally the best corned beef hash breakfast I have ever had. It appeared as though the owner cooked my breakfast himself and even went above and beyond to make sure I had no onions in my hash. Service was great, and we were a party of six. Had a weird vibe when I came here with my boyfriend. We weren't greeted when we walked in. Stood there for a little bit. For the regulars they knew if there's a wait to write the name down and # of party then to go out in the waiting area with coffee and waited to be called. I went here for a meeting with my business partner. Even though the tables were very small the waitress was very accommodating at helping us make more space. Since we ordered the same Tea she brought over a cute teapot so we actually got more tea than expected! The menu looks so good it was so hard to make a decision! The Mad Hatter is my fiance and my favorite breakfast joint. There normally is a wait for a table but it is so worth the wait! The portions are HUGE, the toast is made of nice thick pieces of bread, the seasoning on the homefries are amazing, everything is cooked to perfection, and their coffee is delicious. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. My fiance and I are creatures of habit so we don't stray far from our usuals but can highly recommend the crunchy french toast and the prime rib! Just flew in from Dallas late last night and made it to the Mad Hatter by about 12:30 from Boston starving for breakfast. This place far exceeded my expectations and I wished I lived closer. I had the eggs Benedict with Irish bacon and my wife had a "simple" breakfast sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheddar on a croissant. Her sandwich was gigantic and had at least 8 strips of country fresh bacon. My eggs were cooked perfectly and all of the waitresses were there to make sure you were happy and taken care of.
