Lomo Saltado (beef) with sautéed vegetables
    Daniel J.

It was nice to get a big meal off the strip. The friendly restaurant owner came around a few times to chat us up and check in on us. The waiter Alex was pretty funny and very hospitable and helped make some recommendations. The salad was fresh, and the steak tasted good, I brought some food back with me. The beef empanadas were GREAT - like just eat a pile of these, you don't need an entrée. Good: -beef empanadas -chicken empanadas -Lomo Saltado (beef) -Skirt steak -Big portions Bad: -none

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! I do not have enough good things to say about this restaurant!! My husband and I found this place after reading the good reviews online and we were not disappointed. We got married earlier that afternoon and were looking for a steak place and opted to go for quality over ambiance. The owner was so friendly and we received the best service I have ever received at any restaurant. We got the meat platter for two and it was so much yummy food. This will be our favorite spot in Nashville for sure!

The service was amazing. The staff just couldn't be any friendlier. I don't have any other Argentinian food to compare with but the food was good. I liked the Lomo Saltado much more than I liked my Milanesa, but only because it was more familiar to me. The steak and chimichurri was delicious as was the provoletta cheese appetizer.

Food was absolutely incredible and tasted very authentic! The empanadas were still hot and fresh when bitting into them, the provoleta was absolutely delicious and the choripan had the best taste ever! The only thing I would change are the French fries as they were very hard and crunched like a chip when eating them. The wait staff was incredible and very friendly. They checked in on us many times as well! The place was nicely decorated and full of Argentine memorabilia! I will definitely be coming back and absolutely recommend visiting the restaurant

Came here for date night a few months ago on a Friday night. We arrived early for dinner around 4pm. The restaurant was pretty filled from an event going on at the Allegiant Stadium but we were seated right away. The interior is well decorated with everything Argentinian fútbol. We ordered one empanada de jamón y queso to start and the parrillada for our main. The empanada was probably my favorite part of this meal. The parrillada however lacked a bit in quality. The main reason I decided to give this place a try was due to their chinchulines. My usual Argentine restaurant doesn't serve this and I've been craving it for a while. Despite the fact, I was disappointed as the meat cuts lacked umami and appeared of poor quality, some seemed reheated. Anyway, overall great place to dine for a quick lunch I assume. But I do not recommend if you're expecting a full on Argentine bbq meal.

mmm...! So excited to review this place!! My family and I were on vacation in Las Vegas, and after realizing that food on the Strip is often overpriced and mediocre, we decided to venture off the Strip -- and luckily, we found this gem! We ordered the Argentina Flight, which gives you a little taste of several menu highlights. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh, and the portion was perfect for the three of us to share. If you're indecisive or just want to try a variety, the Argentina Flight is the way to go! The Flan Mixto was unlike anything I've had before -- so unique and absolutely a must-try. You really can't leave without ordering it. The service was also outstanding. The staff was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. Being taken care of by fellow Latinos felt just like being taken care of by family. Highly recommend this spot if you want an authentic, flavorful, and welcoming dining experience in Vegas.

Made In Argentina is a casual but with wait Service restaurant located not too far from the Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant might be the most unique for its varied offerings. They offer breakfast, empanadas, Mediterranean Foods, Pizzas, Pastas, Sandwiches, Steaks, Breaded entrees called Milanesas, house made desserts and MORE. The inside is decorated with lots of Argentinian Sports Memorabilia and the news was laying on Big Screen TVs. You seat yourself and someone who possibly is the owner's wife waits on you. You must get at least one empanada. They are like no others and come with great sauces. We got the habanero and cheese. It was very large, very good, a bit too spicy but still very good. I got the chicken kabob plate. I think it might have been missing the roasted vegetables? but they gave me a lot of rice, very fresh cucumber/tomato salad, hummus, and more pita breads that anyone can eat. The stand out here was the chicken because the chicken had a great char flavor and was moist and delicious. Hummus was reasonably good, and the pita was very average. Also I should note that I don''t recommend this plate for men because they give a very small amount of chicken here that is maybe a woman's lunch size portion. The only dish that I don't recommend was the Lomo Saltado (steak with onions and fries platter) because the steak was very tough and hard to eat. Somehow my husband ate it anyway. Since they make their own desserts here we also shared their house made Ice Cream Dulce De Leche. The flavor was good but they bring it out rock hard and you have to wait for it to soften. They only had the one woman running around serving everyone and also doing all the take out orders by herself so we felt we had to wait longer than we should have to wait for various things at lunch time. Mainly because of the steak dish and pita breads this equals out to almost 3 stars for us but I feel there was more good than bad so I am generously rounding up to 4 stars. 3.5 Stars

My husband and I came to this spot in search of some tasty food and were not disappointed. They had ample parking spots available and only a few tables were occupied when we sat down. The staff promptly greeted us and offered menus. We didn't know the food was Mediterranean and Argentinian. We opted to start with beef empanadas that came with types of sauces (2 on the spicier side and a Chimichurri). The empanadas were flaky and piping hot. The filling was tasty and well cooked. The empanadas were as good as advertised. For entrees we opted for the Entrana Skirt Steak sandwich with fries and the Chicken Kabob. The steak was cooked perfectly medium and the fries were seasoned well and crispy. For the Chicken Kabob, flavors were amazing (spot on for Mediterranean food), small bit of veggies, large serving of hummus with pita bread, and rice. The portions were generous--so generous that we didn't have any room for dessert. Next time though. The flan, panqueques, and ice cream looked so good. When we checked out they did give us a couple of soft chew candies that were pretty good. I also want to check this place out when it is warmer weather since it has an outdoor patio. The vibe was nice outside, but I loved the soccer memorabilia and old F1 videos playing on the tvs. A definite future visit is in order.

I found Made in Argentina on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it wasn't too far from where we were staying on the strip (Luxor). My friend and I came for an early lunch Friday afternoon around 11 am. It was pretty empty when we arrived, with only one other table occupied. The menu has something for everyone with the large selection, from empanadas to grilled meats to sandwiches to pizzas and even some Mediterranean. There are definitely lots of options for meat lovers, but there are some vegetarian options as well. Neither of us were super hungry, so we shared a couple of items. We got two empanadas - veggie and beef - for $3.85 each and the chicken milanesa for $18. I haven't had a lot of empanadas, but I liked both of the ones here. The beef was my favorite of the two. I generally don't like olives, but I didn't mind the chopped up olives in the beef empanada here. The chicken milanesa was good as well, though I did find it a bit bland. I assume you're supposed to eat with other condiments for flavor but I just had it straight up.

Empanadas!! Perfect just like grandma use to make!

First of cute little Restaurant where you would think should not be! Atmosphere was upbeat! Very busy for a Wednesday night! The empanadas were extra Yummy and very consistent we had chicken, Beef and one with beef marinated in lemon! Super yummy! We got the Monster Milanesa the one with EVERYTHING ON IT! I thought it would be for one person but 4 people can eat it easy! Super yummy!! We finished with Flan that had a thick soft caramel topping! It was the best I EVER HAD! Do not tell my mom! Orders more Empanadas to eat today for lunch!! Pablo gracias por todo y sus recomendaciones!!

You get your choice of soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert, plus you can add an appetizer for just $15. We started with the French onion soup and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was absolutely massive, easily big enough to share, and my French onion soup was rich, flavorful, and delicious. For our entrées, I ordered the 8 oz. filet, while my husband chose the short ribs. His short ribs were absolutely phenomenal! They were tender, flavorful, and the standout of the meal. My filet was cooked perfectly, though I think I'd order it without the onions next time so the steak can really shine. I also added the fully loaded baked potato, and whatever lardons they use on it were incredible. It may have been one of the best loaded baked potatoes I've had. We couldn't pass up the appetizer add-on and tried the deviled eggs with Wagyu and caviar. The Wagyu version wasn't really my favorite, but the caviar deviled egg was absolutely impeccable. Dessert finished the meal with a crème brûlée and the Oreo tiramisu. The Oreo tiramisu was a bit too heavy on the sweet cream for my taste, but the crème brûlée was perfectly executed with a crisp caramelized top and silky custard. A huge shout-out to our server, Maya, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made the entire dining experience even better with her attentive, friendly service. If you're looking for an excellent steakhouse that delivers both quality and value, Primal's prix fixe menu is hard to beat. Don't let the location put you off, this place is a must try!

The place was packed, which honestly surprised me given it's tucked on the outskirts of a mall. The entrance, lit with real candles, immediately set the tone--beautiful, a little dramatic, and slightly nerve-wracking (at one point a staff member had to put one out with water). Still, the space feels incredibly cozy and truly lives up to its name--Primal. It gives off a subtle Game of Thrones vibe in the best way. Our drinks at the bar were exactly as described on the menu. I had the Crown Jewel, and my partner ordered the King's Elixir, which came smoked--such a fun touch. We were seated right on time for our 8:00 pm reservation. To start, we ordered the deviled eggs (my boyfriend always goes for these if they're on a menu--even if I can never justify it myself). Our server recommended the lobster bisque, and we'd also seen it on TikTok, so we gave it a try. It was good, though slightly salty for my taste. I will say, compared to what we saw online, ours didn't have the large chunks of lobster we expected. We also ordered the carpaccio, which was spot on--exactly what you'd want from a local steakhouse. We decided on a bottle of wine, but there was a small mix-up. I stepped away briefly, and when I came back, I realized it wasn't the one we originally chose. Not the staff's fault at all--my boyfriend approved it after tasting and seeing the bottle Now, the main event--the steak. Since this was my cheat day, I needed it to be perfect, and it absolutely delivered. I always order my steak charred rare, and most places tend to overcook it, but they got it exactly right. Just the way I like it--practically running away from me. They did me right! We ordered the 28oz bone-in ribeye, a loaded baked potato with thick-cut bacon, and a red pepper risotto. Everything was rich and satisfying. We ended up packing a good portion because I had to save room for dessert. We finished with the Oreo tiramisu--so good Overall, we'll definitely be back. It's a quality local spot that genuinely surprised us, especially since we usually dine on the Strip or at hotel restaurants. A great experience all around.

Be prepared for a wait even if you reserve a table, this place is very popular. The service and staff is very kind and quick tho, they are very knowledgeable on everything on the menu as well. I was actually able to make sure he'd come and even get him to dress up a bit by telling him we were going to a special Yelp Elite event...and it worked! Lol! The atmosphere, style, vibe, service, and even the bathrooms are all worth mentioning. I ordered the Tennessee Sidecar, and it was easy to drink. My favorite cocktail is a classic Sidecar, so I really enjoyed this twist on it. My husband and I shared the Tomahawk for Two. The menu didn't mention that it came with any sides, but it was served with cooked carrots and asparagus in the same pan as the steak. Since we didn't know that ahead of time, we also ordered the whipped potatoes and broccolini. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately the tomahawk lacked flavor. My husband and I both ended up adding salt to our steaks, and that's honestly never happened to us at any steakhouse before. The steak itself, however, was cooked perfectly. The carrots, asparagus, and broccolini were all decent, but they also needed a bit of seasoning in our opinion. The standout side for us was definitely the whipped potatoes. Those were delicious! One dish that really caught our attention at the table was the Surf & Turf. It was served with melted butter in a small bowl that sat over an enclosed flame, which made for a really nice presentation. I included a video. As for dessert, I have to admit my husband and I were disappointed. After seeing photos from other reviews that mentioned getting a large slice of rich chocolate cake, I was expecting my husband to receive a nice slice of their chocolate cake for his birthday, too. Instead, he was brought what they called a "Green Velvet Cake," which tasted like a cheesecake-cake hybrid. I'm sorry, but it was very underwhelming. It honestly made me think it was a cake idea from St. Patrick's Day. Not only did it look unappealing to us, but all of that bright green food coloring wasn't exactly appetizing either. We also expected there to be at least one birthday candle, but there wasn't. My husband ended up sticking a toothpick into the cake and pretended it was a candle, which at least gave us a good laugh. I'm also hoping that "birthday dessert" wasn't something we were charged for. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I even loved the bathrooms. Each restroom has its own private sink inside, which was thoughtful and that I really appreciated. (Photos included!) That said, the food my husband and I ordered simply didn't live up to our expectations, especially for a steakhouse at this price point. Because of that, we probably wouldn't choose Smith & Wollensky again for celebrating a family birthday. If we did return, we'd definitely be ordering something different.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.
