Three words: maple bacon cronut. The buttery cronut pairs perfectly with the saltiness from the bacon. You can't go wrong with their maple bacon donut either (it's a less buttery version - so personal preference). Also need to mention that their donuts are huge! The staff was helpful with providing recommendations and it's a cute donut shop!

Mag's Donuts & Bakery is a local donut shop located in Quail Hill. It's a big plaza with a lot of other stores and restaurants so there is a lot of parking. There is some seating outside the store, but the inside of the store is just the brightly lit bakery where you can place your order. They have the menu with prices up on the left wall and the front has a display of all the donuts they have available. Service is always nice and friendly here too. We got a variety of donuts: blueberry cake, peanut chocolate, maple twist, and a nutella cronut. All the donuts were great!

Best apple fritters I've had in a long time! $4 for very large and heavy fritters, I would say it's worth its size. Very crunchy and sweet in every bite. I've also tried the old fashioned but the apply fritter definitely takes #1 spot for me.

Mags Donuts is a reliable and enjoyable spot located in the Quail Hill Plaza. The value for what you get is good and the donuts are always fresh with consistently good quality. My favorites are the chocolate donut and the donut holes which are both simple and well made. My favorite drink here is the Vietnamese iced coffee which I would recommend if you need a strong caffeine boost. Their matcha is okay, not the highlight but still drinkable. The croissants are also pretty good. I have had the ham and cheese warmed up a few times and it is filling and comforting, especially in the morning. The interior is always clean and presentable and the staff are friendly which adds to the overall experience. There is plenty of parking in the plaza making it easy to stop by anytime.

    Dozen sorted donuts

I was on my way to a meeting, but in true southern form, I couldn't show up empty handed. Fortunately, I saw this location on my way and figured: what's better than a sorted dozen of delicious donuts!? Mag's donuts hit the spot! The shop itself is small, but cozy, with cute wall artwork and outdoor sitting. Their selection and different types of donuts was outstanding. Although I would've loved to get one of each... a sorted dozen did the trick. Stop by and get a treat if you're in the area, definitely worth the trip.

I am not sure what the heck this is!!!

I am a big fan of Mags and a regular. I drive out of my way during my commute to stop in and have always had good service. However, today I ordered my usual and ended up with someone else's order! I work too far away to drive back. This is a very expensive error!!!

Delicious donuts with that classic, no-frills charm. Everything's fresh, and fluffy. Picking what you want can be tricky though as there are no names or prices in the display case, so you have to scan the menu on the wall and hope for the best. That said, the staff is helpful if you ask, and the donuts are worth the minor confusion. Great local spot! Easy and ample parking available.

Came be because I had an appointment at Perspire Sauna a few doors down, and stopped in for a quick treat beforehand. I ordered a pistachio donut which was very tasty and pretty large in size. The service was nothing outta this world, but the cashier was nice enough. Inside the place is cute, nowhere to sit but plenty of outdoor dining available. However, I give it 3 stars because my ONE donut was $4.50. I had planned to get a few to bring home, but their prices totally threw me off. I understand there are 'premium' donuts, but this was a bit of a stretch for me. I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for more than one donut.

This Place hit the spot .. I got the Maple bacon and I got me a everything bagel with chive cream cheese .. bacon was nice and crispy and warm , the bagel was healthy in size with the right amount of cream cheese . The menu looked good as well overall . Would come back

This was expensive for 10 donuts for Too good to go. Other donut stores give a dozen donuts and cost less.

    Custard & Strawberry Cronut

Food is delicious and fresh as always! It's an amazing breakfast spot with outdoor seating but not on the inside. The service is always friendly and professional as well. The reasoning for the 4 and not 5 stars is due to missing items in orders. I'm not sure if the online ordering is glitchy with the in store system but there seems to be an issue where not all items are being relayed, even after paying for them. Overall amazing just a few quirks.

    Breakfast Burrito
    Thompson T.

Not gonna lie--this is hands down the best breakfast burrito I've ever had from a donut shop. Mag's Donuts in Irvine serves an incredible burrito packed with bacon, Italian sausage, turkey, hash browns, eggs, and cheese. It's freshly made and usually ready in under 15 minutes. Thanks for being the go-to breakfast spot in the Quail Hill Shopping Center!

I found the inside decor a bit unexpected, the green walls, the dark vibe with gold accents. It reminded me of a chic lounge or den. I was happy to see they sold drinks and baked goodies. I wasn't in the mood for coffee or a drink, but decided to check out the sweet treats. I was so excited they had Portuguese egg tarts. I am very familiar with the Asian egg tarts, but I haven't had the Portuguese kind. I was eyeing up the banana pudding, but I decided to not get it. Prices seemed a bit high so we just went for 4 egg tarts. We relaxed a bit while our order was ready. They warmed them up, I decided to try one since I am not from this area. MY, oh MY, oh my!!!!!!!!?!!!!!?!!?!!! They were so good, the outside was super flakey, not greasy. The egg center was warm, not too 'eggy' and the sweetness level was just perfect. They were honestly to die for. I contemplated for a few minutes to BUY MORE even though I had only eaten one. I thought, I'm not from this area, so I might as well get more! I ended up getting 5 more, each tart leans on the expensive side for how small they are, but they are mighty delicious!!! I also decided to try the sea salt chocolate chip cookie: Classic Cookie. Traditional components with a dash of sea salt to accentuate the taste of rich imported Belgian chocolate Egg tarts: 5/5!!!!! Honestly when I put in my 2nd order, I couldn't help myself to tell the people behind me how dang good the egg tarts are... They told me they ended up getting some just because I mentioned it.. The salted chocolate cookie looked different to me, it is shaped like a mound. I thought this was good, full of chocolate and the sea salt was good. Would I order it again? Maybe, maybe not. 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 4/5

It advertises itself as a more premium pastry brand and I don't mind paying a little more for quality pastries. For this last trip, it sorta fallen off a cliff for me. I got their cream puffs this past weekend and I was gravely disappointed. It had labeled a use date of 7/14/26 when I bought it on 7/11/26. I tried it with my wife today on 7/13/26 and the cream tasted sour... Wait, what? How??? Why??? We wondered whether it was a "new" flavor or something and realized that no, this just went bad. Granted that you are paying $12 for 6 of these, for $2 each puff this is not really acceptable at all. Sure, I called the store and they refunded me this purchase. By letting them know that they should probably throw away the rest of this batch, will this happen? The store clerk told me so, but who knows? The fact that you have to question premium stores really puts a sour taste in your mouth. It does make you wonder whether to come by again in the future or not.
