The anti-climatic laser tag is in a very small room which we entered and had to actually go ask what do we do now. I went and bought a second game of laser tag, and then was told we must wait - the facility was almost empty, so this type of behavior is certainly petty and passive aggressive. Absolutely terrible. They offer an option where they advertise all you can bowl. 30 bucks or something a person. However what they don't say is that it is essentially a one hour lane rental. Within a half hour we were told that we could not did more time because there was a wait list. What a crooked system. Came at 11am. Bumpers not working appropriately. Not a big deal, everyone has to play with bumpers. Halfway through, birthday party shows next to us. The attendant/service person logs us off on accident. Makes eye contact with us and ignores what she did. Waited for someone to explain how to address our game being logged off. Waited 10 mins and then had to ask for a manager. Waited another 20 mins to pay our food bill. A discount on the food was given and another hour added to our time. Way overpriced. The sky walk thing is not open so that leaves you to bowling and laser tag. Food is over priced as well. Should have gone to Jake's Unlimted. At Jake's it's $25 for everything including unlimited food and drinks. Also!!! With it being so loud and you have to wear a mask and this info is not written down to see- when telling us about the $$ of the game card. She did not clearly tell us it is $20 for 1 hr and $22 for 4 hrs. We heard $42 for 4 hrs. So we got the 1 hr. Very disappointing visit to main event Gilbert yesterday. Starting from the moment we walked in the door we encountered staff with horrible attitudes. From the rude experience at bowling check in (kaylee) to manger (Ashton) to larger groups of staffers just hanging out avoiding Eye contact with Customers. The food was overpriced, undercooked and just ok. The facility is nice but the entire staff need a major attitude adjustment and better leadership. I hope that this place can turn it around soon. What a disappointing birthday experience at the Main Event in Gilbert. I took my wife out for a night of food, bowling and video games for her birthday settled for 1/3 and that's the highlight of this terrible review. Started with about $50 in a game card i may as well just set on fire as the games didnt work, didnt distribute tickets, or in the case of skee ball just straight up didnt have any balls. The staff reminded me why i hate people with the attitude constant eye role and sheer lack of customer service. The bowling was packed with no sign of a wait time. Then there is the food i watched probably 6 people in the 35 minutes playing games send food back, complain about getting the wrong thing, and in the case of one family straight up just got forgotten about. Look i know times are tough and staffing is short but if you have a job do it to your absolute best. DO BETTER read more

Took my kids and their friends here for some fun. We got the wristbands and they enjoyed all the activities. Cam B was our server and he was very attentive and gave us good service. He took our order promptly and was quick to refill our drinks which was appreciated as the kids were having fun. Definitely will go back before summer break ends. read more

We stopped in for a teambuilder, had lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a blast in the bowling alley doing an impromptu paired competition. We had a blast! I loved this place! It's not bad pricing also. They offer many packages about 25$ for a full day of unlimited. So that is a great deal if you ask me. There are also cards you can add money for games and your tickets will go to the card. The laser tag cost is 9.95 a pers person if bought outside of your daily card. We had great time as adults here. Pool, bowling, food. Although the food is bar for it's good and many many options for all. We will be back again. One complaint when we played laser tag the young lady that was running it was rude, and kept telling at everyone. I get that it's not easy when you're dealing with kids but yelling is just not the way to go about it. Its clean and the rest rooms are clean. Games are about $1.65 a game and they have a good selection. I think they could use a few more games and the one game we played was $3.00 and my gun didn't work. Went for a company training event. The meeting rooms are comfortable and do a decent job of silencing the noise from the young adult areas. The food is decent, based on a "meeting room standard". The staff was friendly and helpful. The music and noise level outside of the meeting rooms is quite high, but I can see how that would appeal to the younger crowds that have the run of the rest of the facility. After the meeting, we got a chance to use the bowling lanes. They were well maintained and had s lot of features that would be fun for the younger crowd and even for some of us adults. read more

I ordered from here using door dash and I won't order from them again. The food quality was terrible and they didn't follow simple directions when making my food. I asked for no onion or pickle on my burger but they put both on it. The hamburger bun was hard and my burger had a burned piece of something on the bottom that probably was old food that was stuck to the grill. My kids ordered sliders and they were burned and dried out. The fries were cold and soggy. The only thing they got right was the boneless wings. I don't recommend this place. Had my sons 11yr birthday party here. Kids had a BLAST. Ana our party host was incredible and attentive. I can almost guarantee we'll be doing the same thing next year for his birthday party. A disclaimer, the pizza they supplied for ten kids would not have been enough (we had six kids but the minimum was 10 for a party). Main Event was a lot larger than I would expect a bowling alley to be. Very clean as well. Service wise, I'm not sure how happy the workers are here. The people who grabbed our shoes and put them away seemed pretty miserable. The woman worker at the entrance at least gave us a smile and welcomed us in though. Keep in mind that if you do unlimited bowling you won't be able to bowl un-interrupted for as long as you would like. They kick you out to get back on the waitlist, which is something I did not expect. The lanes were broken and kept pausing too, which we had to get someone to come fix (and then add more time to our timer before we had to get back on the waitlist). I always like to end reviews on a positive note though, so I will say that the space is extremely well cared for and spacious. The kids I saw running around on the ropes course seemed to be having a fun time. If anything, it was fun to at least people watch. read more

Today was my first time at Main Event. The environment was good. The pizza and wings were great. Good music choice and the lighting was cool. The drinks were pricey , $10.50 for a single vodka Red Bull and the bartender poured heavy for sure. The customer service however was the worst I've had anywhere in a while. Our server Matt was super polite and friendly but had the memory of a peanut. It took almost 20 minutes for him to get to our table. By then I wrote my order down on a sticky note for my boyfriend in case I was bowling when our server came. We ordered 2 vodka Red Bull's, a pizza and wings with extra ranch. That's it. It took half an hour to get our drinks, and they weren't even good. 45 minutes after we order Matt asks if I got my food yet. He was the server he would have brought it how could he not have known? I said no and the manager came up and said someone else got our food and it would be out in 10. No problem, I get it. 20 minutes go by and I finally get my pizza, without ranch. I asked for ranch when he brought the pizza and he said okay and walked away. Never came back. 15 minutes later I get my wings, still no ranch. I ask again and he finally brought me ranch, though I didn't get the extra ranch I'd originally asked for. I ordered another vodka Red Bull and a Long Island ice tea light alcohol. The Long Island was strong on the gin but the vodka Red Bull was decent. I ask for a water after finishing our second drinks and he disappeared for half an hour. I stared him down, (and not politely) until a girl with braids who was standing there watching me need something and did nothing told him I wanted to talk to him. The manager comped the pizza and wings which was appreciated greatly, though I didn't catch his name. We had a large Party of 15. It was awesome, yes it's bit overpriced but overall the food was great. Games were awesome! I recommend to go in large groups! We had all day passes. The only problem I had was with a male server who served the bowling alley area. He just kept talking to his group of friends, didn't notice we left. (We had unlimited soft drinks until 8:30pm), and went to play Lazer tag. When we came out of Lazer tag, he was quick to give me the tab. My sister-in-law explained to him that we had unlimited soft drinks until 8:30. Instead of him, resolving it by looking at our package deal receipt, he quickly called the manager. He was adamant that we paid. The manager comes over checks passes and says yeah they're good. Jerk server respond with "my bad" and walks away. What an a-hole. They run a deal certain nights of the week where you can buy a "wristband" that gets you unlimited activities for a set amount of time. They have a full bar, but the draft beer selection is limited to mostly macro brews. They also offer food in a sit down setting, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I understand from time to time you run into those employees that are just not great at their job or having a bad day, but almost all employees are like that!!!! Wow main event literally has the worst service I have ever experienced. We had to grab our own drinks from the drink well and our own silverware. While the deals are awesome and the experience is fun, the service sucks and I won't ever come hungry! I ordered a side salad... how about some salad with your dish of croutons.
