Ample parking across the street. Saturday night also had a lot of street parking. We made a reservation but there were a decent amount of seats open. Favorites sampler was a hit. The plates they give are also big. Curry I ordered was alright, not my favorite.

Back once again for their delicious "Vietnamese *Meatballs*", flavorful char-grilled pork patties wrapped in Bibb lettuce & herbs ready to be dipped in their tantalizing fish sauce, mmm! Very good are the rest of their menu items, including their satay, green curry, and mango sticky rice. Bright and contemporary ambiance. Wonderful service with all my visits, including their fabulous Happy Hour! CHEERS!

My 1st time dining was Saturday and I ordered the special: red chili pineapple redfish (not on the menu) and it was so good I went back yesterday I ordered the Stir fried glass noodles and Spicy crispy beef samosas. Delicious food. Excellent service. The waiter remembered me from the previous day. The restroom was clean. All staff were friendly and it's just a really relaxing place to dine. Overall 10/10. Food 9/10. Service 10/10.

One of my all time favorite spots. They have always been friendly and have taken care of me like I'm a friend. Indulge in the transformative Thai Drunken Noodles at Malai Kitchen, where each bite orchestrates a vibrant harmony of flavors, masterfully balancing heat and tenderness to elevate your senses and ignite a craving for more. This is 10 out 10 + 1. Exquisite. It doesn't get any better than this one. #malaikitchen

We visited Malai Kitchen on a weekend evening as a small group and received excellent service. My team and I met there after work and the Malai Kitchen menu was able to accommodate everyone's dietary needs, spanning from gluten-free to pescetarian, and even vegetarian. The service we received was very attentive and the waitress was funny and very animated. The food tasted quite good, although the spice level could have been hotter. I was warned my fish curry was going to be spicy but it turns out it wasn't. Not a bit deal, really, but having known... Everyone seemed pleased with their order, we had no complaints! This is definitely a good place for groups and I would recommend it to anyone who is in or around Dallas.

Went with my boyfriend and had a great experience overall. We ordered the Malai Favorites Sampler--loved the Vietnamese meatballs! For entrées, the Vietnamese BBQ pork and Arctic char were both delicious. Marco's service was exceptional! super knowledgeable and gave great recs. Only downside was the wait for food, but the ambiance and flavors made up for it. Would definitely come back!

Seared ahi Spring Rolls with Seared Tuna (Gỏi Cuốn)

An amazing meal from start to finish. Got to try so many flavors because we came during happy hour which is all day Saturday and Sunday, and the deals were great. The Saigon Spritz was so refreshing. Tried the Vietnamese meatballs, the seared ahi spring rolls, and the spicy edemame. All soooo good. For entrees we tried drunken noodles and pad se ewe, in addition to the kids buttered noodles which my son inhaled. Both similar flavors. Perfectly seasoned and every noodle and veg was perfectly cooked. I def would order the drunken noodles (added shrimp) over and over again. The beef was melt in your mouth and the shrimp was delicious. Finished off with the banana custard. The banana was brûlée'd and crispy, sooo good. It was a nicer resteraunt for sure. You can tell from the amazing staff interaction. They were all so patient and sweet with a toddler. Two last notes, at least half the menu was gluten free which was a DREAM. No shortage of GF or vegan options. Lastly, everything coming out of the kitchen was timed SO perfect. The apps and drinks were fast, the entrees came up just as apps wrapped up. Just great. Will be back for sure.

Overall the interior of the restaurant is really nice and modern. Staff is very attentive and nice as well. The food didn't really stand out to me. Our pad see ew and drunken noodles didn't have any flavor and they were both really salty. The ahi tuna was decent and so was the Thai tea. The only good thing was the dessert, the mango sticky rice. For the price of all these dishes, I probably won't come back again. Much better options around DFW.

We love Malai. The service was exceptional and very welcoming. The food was perfect and we will definitely back. Recommend! Cute patio too.

We had great service for our large group. I really enjoyed the eggplant dip and sticky rice appetizers, but my pad woo sen was very delicious. The portion size was appropriate and was very nice to have left overs. Very cute restaurant too! We came during lunch and it seemed like a great place for a work meeting.

I had two seasonal signatures that were perfect summer refreshers. My first was a pineapple rum cocktail called Lewis Street Daiquiri. The second was a very creative spin on a Negroni made with tequila instead of gin. Lewis Street Daiquiri uses a pineapple rum combined with Yuzu Kosho cordial. A yuzu kosho cordial is a sweet, syrup flavored with yuzu citrus and a spicy Japanese chili paste. It's a creative way bartenders add sweetness, acidity, and a spicy kick to recipes. It definitely had all of that along with a bit of a sour feel to it with some light froth from some vigorous shaking. It's really tasty. The second cocktail is JuJu's Negroni. I've never seen a tequila Negroni variation. They use a Blanco tequila, JuJu's coffee, Pamplemousse (grapefruit), and coconut. JuJu is a local East Dallas coffee shop around the corner from MHB. I love the local touch to use a neighbor's ingredient. I cant remember why is has a red tint given the ingredients, but it must be the combination of the coffee and grapefruit liqueur. I think i remember them saying they clarified some combination of the ingredients, but i cant remember. Regardless, it was delicious ams you should definitely try it. You don't need an excuse to go to MHB because it's one of the best restaurants in Dallas and is Michelin recommended. I would go@back for both of these cocktails like we do for the world famous garlic noodles. Go try these beauties and visit our hood because it's one of the best joints we have to offer in Dallas. The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

You can tell they brew it and it doesn't come from a syrup. When I sat down, I was instantly greeted, and there were like four different people serving my table, I think that they all work as a team to make sure everything is covered. The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! The two chutneys that came with it one was a cool cucumber, and the other was this sweet and spicy plum sauce. They made samosas!!! They could be soft and cool, or they could be delicious and spicy, depending on chutney you had them with and you had a third option.... There was a bed of pickled radish and carrot that really sit off the samosas as well and we're just delicious on their own. I devoured the entire thing. Then get the entrée. I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection. The wide noodles picked up all that deliciousness from the wok and then combined with the pork... heaven ! They had large pieces of bell pepper and tomatoes. very fresh onions... Just deliciousness.
