I can't believe this business has the audacity to charge customers $6 for a piece of dough. Shame on them. There are so many other awesome individuals-owned cafes that you can visit in Manhattan NY. My least favorite prt about this sandwich was the ham! Ratatouille hash - $16 (3/5) . I could probably make this at home as this was nothing special and not worth $16. Went here for brunch (weekends only) and waited 15 minutes for a table. Service was fast, and chaotic. I ordered a coffee, a peach bellini, and ratatouille hash. I never received my coffee so I canceled it. Understandably, I empathized with the lack of delivering my coffee because of how busy the place was. I was a bit hungover so the hash was delicious but not as satisfying as I would've expected due to the lack of grease in this dish. It's healthy, delicious, and filling. The potatoes could've been crispier but good nonetheless. I'd def go back on a better day for the hash again. read more

I was excited to try this coffee shop. On Wednesday, I had come to study for a bit on my laptop but I noticed on a note saying it's a laptop-free environment but you're allowed to use laptop for an hour during weekdays. Right after I got my coffee I opened my laptop, an older gentleman employee came and informed me again about the laptop-free policy. I told him it's a weekday so I could use it for an hour. Then he said I was allowed to use 30min-1hour. After he left, I overheard him talking to his coworkers loudly near the kitchen area "I don't understand why people would come here to use the laptop. They should go to Starbucks instead!" The shop was almost empty and not busy at all. The sign already made it clear. Not sure why the necessity of bad mouthing your customers, or even telling them at the beginning. If you don't want laptops at all, then just have a zero tolerance policy. Don't be allowing an hour during weekday then making customers feel bad for using a laptop. Will not return. read more

We had the breakfast sandwich, which was fine, but missing something, pictures are overly flattering. The avocado is more of a puree, so not my favorite from flavor or texture perspective. The coffee was decent, not close to the best in NYC. The roasted potatoes were probably the biggest disappointment. Came out cold, have zero flavor, something I would expect from a Hampton inn breakfast bar. Most frustrating experience wise was the anarchy seating situation. If you want to sit with your food, skulk about until you can maybe beat someone else to a table as soon as someone gets up. When we came, all the tables taken, many 3 and 4 tops with 1-2 people, so zero efficiency of space.
