Probably still one of my favorite spots to go grab dessert on St. Marks. The last time I was here was pre-pandemic, so coming in and seeing they redecorated the place was actually shocking but the newer design makes the place feel more comforting. For a party of 4, we waited about 30 minutes for a table. We were able to put our names down and saw our place in line through a link. When our table was ready they even gave us a call! I had ordered the A1: Special Mango Juice Sago and Pomelo. The mango tasted fresh, and the entire dessert wasn't too sweet. My partner wanted something from an older menu, and although they didn't have the grass jelly from before they were able to get assemble a custom creation for him. We ordered a mango juice sago dessert and another Snow White variety dessert and I really enjoyed both. The juiced ice here is really delicious -- grapefruit, mango, and coconut. Fantastic. I'd never been to a Mango Mango location before this, but the friends I went with all had, and they said that it was much better than the other locations they had been to. I came with a group of 4 around lunch time, and the place was fairly empty, maybe 3 tables including ours were full. Everything on the menu looked super good, but I wanted something mango themed to really get the full experience of this place. I had the mango sundae, and I was very pleased with my order. The portion size was perfect and it tasted great. However my favorite thing about Mango Mango was the lovely minimalist aesthetic it had going on. Also the food came in these organic-looking clay bowls that were also being sold in the back of the restaurant. OMG!!!! it was my first time going to mango mango and it was so good!!! I got the mango crepe cake, which I thought tasted so yummy!! I wish it was a little more refreshing, with maybe more mango sauce. I think it oddly was a little dry but other than that it was incredible. I've came here before on a summers day and i had the best HK styled mango dessert here. The mango was super fresh and amazing. This time it was ok. I ordered the durian dessert bowl after being told there was no durian pancake and no durian Mille crepe (similar story to other reviews on here) I don't know if it's because they decide not to restock or if it's actually sold out. I was worried about the dessert bowl as someone here made a terrible review about it but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't as bad as it did not have a rotting taste or bitter flavor like some other people had said. However, it is still frozen(harder than typical durian cubes) and the reason why I enjoyed it was the durian ice cream so I ended up lathering it over the durian pieces and it seemed feasible. I also ordered the strawberry mango juice sago and lychee jelly with the green tea ice cream- this one was super watery and I only enjoyed the strawberries, mango and the rice balls and probably nothing else. Usually the slushy should be flavorful inside but this one was just tragic. In both of these there were ice and frozen sago- which kind of bothered me while I was eating because I really wanted more of a chewy experience instead of everything being hard and Icey. I saw a refrigerator outside this place when I went and I wonder if they're going to change it because the temperature they stored the sago in completely froze it. Lastly, I had the mango mochi which was good. I think you should stick to the mango stuff on the menu but the durian is really enticing and for people who love durian I would recommend not putting the words "mustang king durian" on the menu or removing it if it's not going to be there at all times or making a special menu for it when they actually have it in stock. I only had good experiences here in the summer but when I crave a HK dessert I would like it to be good in the winter too. read more

Highly recommend the mango platter, which is a sampler of 3 desserts - mango mochi over pieces of mango, mango ice cream with pieces of coconut jelly, and mango and sago in a mango sauce. I was craving some dessert soup or pudding last weekend, and luckily Mango Mango was there to rescue me on one of my favorite streets in Lower East Side. Mango Mango has a few locations, the one I know best is in Flushing, and so I'm glad it's also in the city. Its consistency is the best part, you always know what to expect. A little less consistent is what might possibly run out by the end of the night since it's a busy stop, so I didn't even get to have a mango bowl, and didn't get my second option for red bean, and so I drank a nice almond soup with rice balls.
