I was curious about this dessert place so when i was around st mark's sometime last fall, i decided to give it a try. I got the snow white mango to-go. The dessert drink tasted pretty good, not too sweet and refreshing. When i went there, it was quite empty even for a Saturday afternoon. Service could be improved as the order took at least 15 mins. Really really good! Durian ice cream on point, Snow White is also delicious, black rice ball is very well cooked and worked well with the frozen durian, and durian ice cream and milk (slushy). After dinner and a movie we were looking for a dessert place that was still open around the area. As a chocolate lover I was disappointed with no chocolate on the menu. The ice cream was still tasty. Highly disappointed in their service. Came here today and ordered three items; mixed fruit sago , green tea crepe and mo mo cha cha. The first two items came in like 10 minutes but we waited nearly 30-40 minutes for the 3rd item to come. We already finished everything and NOW you give the third item? I love the desserts here so this review is not at all a reflection of the food itself. The wait here can get really long, but not just because it's a popular spot. It is truly incredible how long the staff will let squatters sit at their tables long after finishing their orders and closing out their tabs. On a night with a dozen parties (of probably 30+ people) outside, they will let a group of 3 squat at a table for 7 for well over forty minutes since their last order. This group was keeping the table to study despite being on their phones rather than their laptops the whole time (note to future patrons - this is NOT a coffee shop or a library - please find another place to study if there are so many other people waiting to sit). And to the business owner - I think you would have a lot more happy customers if you enforced reasonable time limits that truly any reasonable person would understand. You'd also serve more net items from turning tables faster. Nobody would blame you for doing this. I love this establishment - it's one of my favorites of all time. But the service and inconsiderate customers that staff do nothing about are definitely a negative in my book. Given how many other great dessert places are on the same street on St Marks, I hope they work to improve the customer experience here. read more

Very mediocre in terms of mango desserts. Went late at night with a friend. They were supposed to be open for 30 more minutes, but they were closing early and forced us to take our dessert to go, which we ended up eating outside on the curb because we did not want the ice to melt. The flavors in the dessert are very very bland, but that mangoes tasted fresh. I have had this exact same mango dessert many times and it is one of my favorites. My favorite Hongkong dessert place after a meal with my friends. This new store is located near East Village, and it is very clean and neat. The interior design is also very aesthetic, so it is a go to for Instagram (check out the pictures I took). I came here during the soft opening while they were doing their BOGO Slush-O deal. The interior is clean, open, and very sit-down friendly. It's the perfect place to study or meet up with friends. My friend and I both order the Snow White Mango Slush-O with no added sugar. The drink consists of a mango slush with jelly and topped with a coconut cream and fresh mango pieces. We shared a mango trio (dine in only). Not sure if the exact name but it includes a variety of mango desserts. Lychee jellies with a scoop of mango ice cream, the jellies were sweet and tasty but the mango ice cream had an artificial taste which I didn't love but I ate it anyway. There were also fresh mangos and a coconut mango Mochi, the mangos were sweet and the mango mochi was sweet but could've left off the coconut shavings, the last part of the trio had sweet mangos in a mango purée sauce with plain mini mochi, this was my least favorite as the mini Mochi was a bit firmer and the mango sauce was lacking in taste, the mango help give it more flavor. It was so refreshing and naturally sweet (I hope they didnt put tons of sugar in it). It was made with simple ingredients. I think it's basically mango slushie, mango pieces, sago bubbles and herbal jelly. Therefore, paying $6.5(before top and tax) to this dessert is a little too much? I got to try the taro balls too, which was alright but wasn't too special. I'd rather come here to eat something made with mango and eat the taro balls in another restaurant that specializes in that dish. The Mango Mochi was also my favorite! It's very soft and chewy, and was coated with coconut flakes. However, i'd love to have more mango pieces inside, or maybe more sweet filings oozing out when I bite it (perhaps cream, condense milk, mango juice idk). Just my personal recommendation lol! Snow White mango juice with sago and pomelo: the grapefruit bits are bitter and nothing like how it's supposed to be sweet with hints of sour. The mango pieces are fine, but not worthy of the shop's name "Mango Mango". Musang king durian pancakes : the dough wrap is a little dry and tasted a little stale.
