My friend, however, tried their Jerk chicken plate and was a little disappointed by the dryness of it. Definitely need some kind of sauce to bring the whole dish together. I ordered the oxtails with white rice. Clearly, they either didn't hear me or just didn't care because why do I have rice and peas on my plate??? I was really excited about visiting this place, but I was highly disappointed once I got there. There was a taco special but you could only get one flavor three tacos. if you don't want to eat three of the same tacos and you want a variety this is not the option. I ordered plantains, but they were out. my friend ordered a meal that came with plantains, but did not get any and they didn't offer a substitute or a discount. I attempted to order curry patties. They were also out. I eventually settled with jerk wings, but they were not fully cooked so I ate my rice and peas. The sweet tea was great but the service wasn't exceptional. Went on Monday 10/30 around 7ish, the restaurant was pretty empty, besides a few people the seemed to be regulars and people coming and going for to go orders. They were playing music, which was good for the vibes but not too loud so we were able to have a decent conversation. We had a new waitress, besides not knowing a few answers to our detailed questions(she did find us answers from other staff), she was attentive and gave great service. We had one of their specialty Halloween drinks, which was good af and only $5 each, they do have a happy hour but I don't remember the days/hours. For food we ordered the oxtail egg rolls, jerk wings (would have preferred more of a dry rub jerk, but the sauce was saucing) and me and my friend both got the jerk chicken pasta (it was loaded with chopped chicken breast, which isn't my favorite and seemed to be well well done and a bit dry). We also ordered a hookah which we were offered a free refill, which we didn't accept, since we were finishing up, but it was nice of them. My favorite dish is the Jerk Chicken Pasta. The portion size is great for the price, it's seasoned perfectly & it's super creamy. I can eat on this for 2+ days. I also enjoy the Jerk Chicken dinner with Rice & Peas, Cabbage & Plantain. The rice is shelly EVERY time! I've always received great, attentive service. We ordered the shrimp tacos and they were more sweet than savory, but you get 3. We also ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta and added shrimp. The lemonade had an after taste like the machine needed cleaning or if it was cleaned with a dirty sponge, beef patty lukewarm with not much meat, cheese cake was not resturant quality with the texture it was lumpy versus creamy, but it tasted ok. Great spot that's tucked in a corner of a plaza. It's located right next to a night club but the ambiance was great. Walked in with my partner and we thought the service was fast and great. We had a beef patty that was pretty standard but it was tasty. I ordered the regular Curry Chicken and it was delicious. My partner ordered the Brow Stew Chicken which was also full of flavor. Right next to Radisson Hotel. Went there last night around 9 pm on a Friday. The vib was dance floor bar. A little loud with music and crowd noise. We settled in at a table and ordered our drinks. A couple of minutes later we ordered our meals. First round of drinks took a couple of extra minutes. Our selection was diverse. One jerk chicken pasta, jerk chicken dinner, curry shrimp dinner, and jerk shrimp pasta. Food came out fairly quickly. First bite to last bite was awesome! Once we had our food the refills were quick. I had a chance to try the other meals. Everyone of them was excellent. Caribbean food is traditionally spicy so be prepared. While this review has nothing to do with the great food, I had to share my experience. My fiancé and I just left this restaurant a few mins ago. There was 1 woman working the bar and the floor. She was clearly drunk and highly under the influence. She asked us 3 times what drink we ordered, added items to our bill that we didn't order and kept taking shots at the bar with her 2 friends that were there eating. I truly feel sorry for the owner who had to get involved with a party of 6 who was also deeply disappointed.
