The place is nice and their mana'aesh are freshly made and baked. We went their on a Saturday morning, their lamb mana'aesh were so good. Perfectly balanced spices. The reason I gave them 4 stars is that we wanted to get falafel, they said they are cleaning the fryer and they can't make it (this was 45 mins after their opening time) they should clean their fryers prior to opening or at least the night before. And their Zaatar mana'aesh were too salty but this can differ with people's taste. read more

The establishment is very clean and we'll designed. The chicken shawarma sandwich was delicious. It had a garlic note as well as a very exotic spice that made me happy. Reminds me of a Lebanese bakery I used to frequent in LA. Overall they make great flatbreads. My favorite by far is the lamb-topped one, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Their rice isn't authentic or up to my standards for Arabic dishes... I definitely have been spoiled by very good Arab rice from my travels. The place is an unpretentious, clean and comfortable casual eatery. They only take cash, there's an ATM in the premises, and if you want to do card, they'll give you a slip to pay it at the market downstairs. Nothing like this exists in Seattle. There's just no comparison. They make freshly baked flat bread pizzas Arabic style called "manaeesh" or "fatayer". They cook everything in an open flame "tanoor" or oven. So delicious and very reasonably priced. You can get them with zatar (mix of oregano, sesame seeds and other spices) and cheese or meat and cheese or even eggs. ****Arab wives tale = eating a lot of zatar makes you smarter.*** There's so many combos to choose from. In additional to the savory fatayer, they also have a sweet one with honey and "gamar" or "ishTa" (kind of like cream cheese). They also have halal pepperoni pizza. In the winter they make really authentic lentil soup. When I'm dieting I order this really good "Greek" salad with chicken. The chicken shawarma sandwich is also very good and different than other Arabic style restaurants. It's served on the more traditional large thin pita bread and comes with a lot of tasty garlic sauce. They have some inside seating and outside seating that's covered. It's very clean and organized inside. This place is cash only! There's an ATM inside for a fee. I'd give this place 4.5 stars and that's because they don't accept more payment methods. Besides that everything is perfect. I definitely recommend this place! If you want something different and more traditional then check it out! read more

Delicious Lebanese flatbread for under $5. The place is sort of hard to find and completely unsuspecting. I had the spicy ground beef. This is one of my favorite places to eat in North Seattle. The food is better than competition in the area and they have a gas pizza oven and they make their pita breads to order. There is really nothing better than that bread. The gyro meat is very good and their flat breads are equally amazing. Sometimes we shop downstairs at the grocery store and order hummus and baba ganoush with pita to go. Prices are really good. Their gyros are the same price as most fast food options but far better in quality and taste. read more

Man'oushe Express provided a beautiful catering spread for 40 guests for a summer birthday party in early July. We set up all the details ahead with Julian who was attentive and eager to create an awesome event. On the day of the event, 3 lovely women arrived to seamlessly set up an amazing spread for our guests, including appetizers on all our tables. Everyone was raving about the food and guests with all dietary needs were accommodated. They served both lamb and chicken kabobs, falafel, grape leaves, mana-eesh (stone oven flatbread), all on top of rice and with all the garnishes. Appetizers included their amazing pita, hummus, baba ghanouj, and tzatziki. At the last minute Julian provided extra food for the guests and it was truly an amazing evening. Ate here for the first time today; it will not be the last. So good! I love how chewy the flat bread is and the toppings are so delicious and flavorful. I had the lebni sandwhich (tomato, cucumber, green olive, mint and kefir in a flatbread wrap). It was exactly what I was craving for a nice, refreshing lunch. My husband got the chicken schwarma, which was quite good but lacked that little extra something to make me go "Omg, yes!" The Sujuk flatbread on the other hand... The flavor was turned up to 11! We also had the unexpected pleasure of trying the dessert flatbread with honey, on the house. My husband said it tasted like a really good Danish. The food was EXCELLENT!!!! My wife got a lamb shawarma and baba ghanaj. I got the gyro lamb shawarma plate and the hand made baklava. Mediterranean food is our favorite but we run into a lot of places that don't make it authentic, NOT here. It was hands down excellent food. The hand made baklava was to die for. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the baba ghanaj was prefect.(my wife's favorite dish and so many screw it up, they did it beautifully) The service was amazing. Our food came quickly.
